MULCHING BLADE 490MM FOR POLO96/97 TORNADO95/97 SERIES TREASURER C7420610A - maximum mulching efficiency for your lawn

The mulching blade 490 mm for tractor series POLO96/97 and TORNADO95/97 with code C7420610A is a high-quality working element designed for precise cutting and intensive shredding of grass blades. Thanks to its specially shaped cutting edge and appropriate profile, this blade provides effective mulching - the cut grass is repeatedly shredded and evenly distributed over the surface of the lawn, creating a natural organic fertilizer and reducing the need for additional fertilization.

Precise dimensions and arrangement of mounting holes make the blade a perfect fit for selected models of garden tractors, ensuring safe and stable operation. High-quality steel and solid workmanship translate into long life, wear resistance and reliability even with frequent, intensive use over large areas.

length: 490 mm, width: 70 mm, Ø central hole 25x16.7 mm, Ø side hole 8.5 mm, distance between holes 64 mm ; for tractor series POLO96/97 ; TORNADO95/97

What is the mulching blade 490 mm for POLO96/97 TORNADO95/97 series tractor C7420610A?

Mulching blade 490 mm C7420610A is a specialized cutting blade used in garden tractors equipped with mulching function. Unlike classic mowing blades, its shape is designed to generate strong airflow and create a vortex in the mowing chamber. This allows the cut grass to remain in the housing for longer, where it is shredded into very fine fragments.

The product is designed for users expecting a dense, healthy lawn with no visible swath residue. The use of the mulching blade reduces the time of maintenance work - no raking and disposal of cut grass, which is a great advantage for both private users and companies engaged in professional maintenance of green areas.

Where does the 490 mm mulching blade C7420610A mount on the tractor?

The mulching blade is mounted in the cutting unit of the garden tractor - on the shaft (spindle) of the mower under the housing of the cutting unit. The central hole, measuring 25x16.7 mm, is responsible for the main attachment of the blade to the shaft, while the two side holes, measuring 8.5 mm in diameter and spaced 64 mm apart, are used for additional securing of the component using appropriate screws or spacer pins.

Proper installation involves thorough cleaning of the mounting socket, proper positioning of the blade (paying attention to the direction of rotation and the side of the blade), and tightening the screws to the proper torque recommended by the tractor manufacturer. This ensures that the knife runs steadily, does not cause excessive vibration and does not stress the bearings or drive shaft.

Application of mulching blade 490 mm for POLO96/97 and TORNADO95/97 tractors

The mulching blade C7420610A is designed for use on POLO96/97 and TORNADO95/97 series garden tractors. Perfect for medium to large home lawns, recreational areas, allotments, landscaped gardens, and green areas around commercial or industrial facilities.

The use of the knife allows:

  • maintain an aesthetically pleasing lawn without a visible swath,
  • natural fertilization thanks to shredded grass left as mulch,
  • save time - no need to empty the trash or remove the grass,
  • less burden on the environment - no bags for green waste.

Mulching blade 490 mm C7420610A - dimensions, fit and safety of use

Nóż mulczujący 490 mm do traktorka serii POLO96/97 TORNADO95/97 C7420610A

The key advantage of the 490 mm mulching blade C7420610A is that it precisely matches the cutting units of the POLO96/97 and TORNADO95/97 series of tractors. The length of 490 mm and the width of 70 mm guarantee a wide mowing range and a proper airflow profile inside the mower housing, which directly translates into mulching quality. Central hole 25x16.7 mm and side holes 8.5 mm in diameter with 64 mm spacing allow stable, repeatable mounting according to equipment manufacturer requirements.

From the user's point of view, the right size of the knife is all about safety and comfort. A blade of the wrong length can hit the aggregate housing, cause vibration and even damage the tractor. By choosing the dedicated model C7420610A, you are assured that the cutting element has been developed just for your series of machines. On a day-to-day basis, this means quiet operation without unnecessary noise, even mowing, and no need for frequent corrections or adjustments.

Examples of practical applications:

  • regular weekly mowing of large home lawns, where repetition and safety of work are important,
  • maintenance of areas around company facilities - reliability and lack of downtime due to failure of mismatched parts is important,
  • care of leisure areas, where the stability of the blade and an even cut affect the aesthetics and comfort of users.

Durability, workmanship and mulching efficiency of the POLO96/97 TORNADO95/97 tractor blade

Nóż mulczujący C7420610A – widok z boku

The mulching blade C7420610A is made of durable steel, resistant to abrasion and mechanical deformation. The carefully hardened cutting edge retains its sharpness for a long time, even when frequently mowing dense grass or in areas with uneven surfaces. The surface of the blade is smooth, which reduces the sticking of plant residues and makes it easier to clean the aggregate.

Properly shaped tips and special curves of the blade are responsible for intensive lifting of grass and its repeated cutting in the mowing chamber. As a result, you get a very fine fraction of mulch, which quickly falls between the blades without forming unsightly clumps. This form of shredding accelerates the natural decomposition of plant residues, providing the soil with nutrients.

Examples of daily use of qualitative advantages:

  • mowing wetter grass after the morning dew - thanks to the aggressive profile of the blade, the grass is effectively cut rather than torn out,
  • maintenance of playing fields, playgrounds or recreational areas, where a homogeneous lawn structure without visible tufts is required,
  • long-lasting operation during the season without the need for frequent sharpening - reduced service and downtime costs.

Comfort of use, time savings and environmental benefits of mulching

Nóż mulczujący w praktyce – trawniki i ogrody

The use of the 490 mm mulching blade C7420610A brings a number of benefits that can be felt after the first few mowings. First of all, you minimize the handling involved in collecting and disposing of the cut grass - the swath remains on the lawn, where it acts as mulch. This gives you valuable time to spend on other garden work or relaxation.

Mulching also promotes an eco-friendly approach to green care. Instead of hauling away grass and buying extra fertilizer, you take advantage of the natural cycle of matter. Shredded grass returns valuable nutrients to the soil, improving its structure and moisture retention capacity. Lawn becomes denser, more resistant to dryness and disease.

Practical examples of benefits:

  • regular mowing of the family garden - less work with emptying the trash, and more time to relax,
  • maintenance of municipal and neighborhood green spaces - reducing the cost of green waste disposal,
  • lawn care in areas where access to fertilizers is limited - mulching partially replaces mineral fertilization.

Easy maintenance and proper operation of the mulching blade C7420610A

To realize the full potential of the 490 mm mulching blade C7420610A, it is worth taking care of its regular maintenance. After mowing is completed, it is recommended to clean the blade and the interior of the unit from grass residue. This will avoid corrosion, reduce the adhesion of subsequent layers and maintain the high quality of the cut. Periodically inspecting the condition of the blade - whether chipped or larger cavities have appeared - will allow you to react quickly and possibly sharpen or replace it.

It is also important to follow the safety rules: any work on the knife should be done with the engine turned off, the spark plug disconnected and with the use of appropriate protective gloves. Thanks to a simple fastening system and clearly defined hole dimensions (central 25x16.7 mm, side 8.5 mm, spacing 64 mm), disassembly and reassembly are quick and easy.

Examples of daily operation and service:

  • seasonal inspection before the start of spring mowing - blade removal, cleaning, possible sharpening,
  • inspection after accidentally stepping on a stone or root - checking for deformation,
  • regular replacement of the blade every few seasons of intensive operation - maintaining maximum mulching efficiency.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about 490 mm mulching blade C7420610A

1. Will the 490 mm mulching blade C7420610A fit my tractor?

The blade is designed for POLO96/97 and TORNADO95/97 series tractors. Before buying, it is a good idea to compare the dimensions of the holes and the length of the knife with the item you have used so far, or check the manual for the designation of the original knife. Dimensional compatibility ensures safe and efficient operation.

2. What is the difference between a mulching blade and a regular mower blade?

The mulching blade has a different profile and shape of the cutting edge. It is designed to repeatedly cut the already cut grass, creating a fine fraction that remains on the lawn as a natural fertilizer. A regular mower blade mostly just cuts the grass and directs it into the basket or side discharge, without intensive shredding.

3. How often should the mulching blade be sharpened?

The frequency of sharpening depends on the intensity of use and working conditions (presence of sand, stones, unevenness). For typical backyard use, it is a good idea to check the condition of the blade at least once a season. If you notice jagged grass blade tips or deterioration in cutting quality, the blade should be sharpened or replaced.

4. Is mulching good for your lawn?

Yes, properly conducted mulching is very beneficial. The finely shredded grass decomposes quickly, providing the soil with nitrogen and other nutrients. In addition, the mulch layer helps keep moisture in the ground and protects the soil from overheating. It is only important not to leave too thick a swath and to mow the grass regularly.

5. Can I use the mulching blade without the mulching plug in the unit?

For best results, it is recommended that the mulching blade be used together with a mulching plug (insert) dedicated to a particular tractor model. It allows the cut grass to be retained longer in the mowing chamber and provides intensive shredding. Use without a cap may degrade mulch quality and grass distribution uniformity.

6. When it's a good idea to replace a knife with a new one instead of sharpening it?

Replace the knife with a new one when it is badly chipped, deformed, shows cracks or when after several sharpenings its shape significantly deviates from the original profile. A damaged blade can cause vibration, poorer quality of mowing and even endanger the safety of the user.
