Left-hand knife 620 mm for OM124/124J/124JH/124S series tractor 68120045 is a high-quality working element designed for precise grass cutting in garden tractors equipped with an aluminum cutting deck. It is an original sized cutting blade, which ensures even cutting, high working efficiency and long life of the entire mowing system.

The precise 620 mm length and 55.5 mm width guarantee optimum coverage of the working belt, while the properly contoured cutting edges ensure efficient mowing of both fresh and slightly overgrown grass. Thanks to the use of durable steel, the knife is resistant to mechanical damage caused by contact with small obstacles on the lawn.

This component is designed to work with the aluminum mower deck on OM124, OM124J, OM124JH and OM124S series tractors. The proper arrangement of the mounting holes - central and side - allows for a secure, stable and safe attachment of the blade to the hub, which minimizes vibration and increases operator comfort.

Left-hand knife 620 mm 68120045 for OM124 tractors - precision-matched work piece for aluminum unit

Nóż lewy 620mm do traktorka serii OM124/124J/124JH/124S 68120045

Left-hand knife 620 mm 68120045 was designed specifically for OM124/124J/124JH/124S series tractors with aluminum cutting deck. This means that the blade geometry, blade thickness, blade length and mounting hole placement are tailored exactly to the requirements of these models, ensuring a perfect fit and trouble-free operation of the mowing system. It is not a universal replacement, but a component with specified parameters, eliminating the risk of problems with installation or improper operation of the unit.

With a length of 620 mm, the blade effectively covers a wide working strip, reducing the time needed to mow a large area of lawn. The width of 55.5 mm provides optimal rigidity and stability during high rotation, while allowing the cutting edges to be properly contoured. The central mounting hole with a diameter of 16 mm and the side hole of 6 mm, with a distance of 75 mm between them, allow secure attachment to the hub, according to the factory specifications of the tractor manufacturer.

In practice, this means that the user, when replacing an old or damaged blade with the 68120045 model, is assured of trouble-free installation and correct balance of the entire cutting system. This translates into less vibration during mowing, and thus greater operator comfort and less wear and tear on tractor components such as bearings, drive belts and blade hubs. In day-to-day use - whether for regular mowing of a home lawn or maintenance of a larger recreational plot - the proper blade fit directly affects the quality of work and durability of the entire machine.

Left knife 620 mm for OM124/124J/124JH/124S series tractor is used as the main working element in the cutting unit, responsible for undercutting and shredding blades of grass. It is always mounted on the left side of the unit (viewed from the operator's position), working with the right-hand knife or other components of the mowing system. This configuration ensures that grass is collected evenly or ejected to the side, and in some configurations also provides better results when mulching.

In everyday use, the knife 68120045 will prove useful wherever fast, accurate and aesthetically pleasing lawn mowing is required: on home gardens, areas around businesses, on recreational plots or around public facilities. Its length and the appropriate profile of the blades enable it to efficiently handle both soft, regularly mowed grass and slightly taller blades that may have grown after a period of heavy rainfall.

A properly sharpened and balanced blade minimizes fraying of grass tips, resulting in healthier looking turf and less risk of plant disease. By regularly replacing worn or chipped blades with new ones - such as the 68120045 model - you can maintain a high quality cut, reduce drag during operation, and reduce the tractor's fuel or energy consumption. It's a win-win solution for both the individual user and professional landscaping companies.

Durability, safety and comfort - benefits of 620 mm left-hand knife 68120045

Wytrzymały nóż lewy 620mm do traktorka z aluminiowym agregatem

Left-hand knife 620 mm 68120045 is made of durable, hardened steel, which provides high resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage from working in harsh conditions. Daily lawn mowing often involves accidental contact with small stones, branches or uneven ground - the right quality of material and proper heat treatment of the blade reduces the risk of cracks and chipping.

The safety of use is ensured by the correct balance of the blade and precisely made mounting holes: central 16 mm and side 6 mm, with a distance of 75 mm. Stable hub mounting reduces vibration, which not only improves operator comfort, but also protects tractor components from excessive wear and tear. A well-fixed and well-fitted blade reduces the risk of backlash that could lead to damage to the power unit, drive belt or bearings.

In practice, the user gains a tool that retains its cutting properties for a long time, allows for less frequent replacements and reduces downtime at work. When caring for large areas, such as extensive gardens, orchards or areas around commercial buildings, this is crucial - fewer technical interruptions mean faster job completion and lower machine operating costs. Working comfort is also increased due to smoother operation of the cutting unit, which is especially noticeable during longer mowing sessions.

Simple knife installation and service 68120045 - how to properly replace the left-hand knife on the OM124/124J/124JH/124S tractor

Nóż lewy 68120045 – widok otworów montażowych

The use of standard mounting hole dimensions makes the replacement of the left 620 mm knife 68120045 quick and uncomplicated. The 16mm center hole and 6mm side hole, 75mm apart, fit the factory mounts on OM124/124J/124JH/124S tractors. With basic technical skills, the user can perform the replacement himself, saving time and money on service.

In daily use, it is worth remembering a few rules: before removing the blade, always disconnect the power source of the tractor (ignition, battery), set the machine on a stable surface and use appropriate tools. When installing a new knife, it is important to maintain the correct seating direction - the left-hand knife should be installed on the correct side of the aggregate, according to the manufacturer's markings. Tightening the bolts to the correct torque ensures secure fastening and safe operation.

Regular inspection of the condition of the blades - blade, balance, and any mechanical damage - should become a regular part of your tractor inspection. Replacing a worn blade with a new model 68120045 allows you to maintain high mowing efficiency, improve the aesthetics of your lawn and extend the life of the entire cutting unit. This ensures that the garden tractor remains in full working order throughout the season, and the user can enjoy neat, even and healthy turf without unnecessary downtime.

Yes, the blade was designed for OM124/124J/124JH/124S series tractors with aluminum cutting deck. The length of 620 mm and the arrangement of holes (Ø 16 mm central, Ø 6 mm side, distance 75 mm) corresponds to the factory specifications of these models.

Question 2: On which side of the aggregate should this knife be mounted?
This is a left-hand blade, which means that it should be mounted on the left side of the cutting unit (as viewed from the position of the operator sitting on the tractor). This maintains the correct directionality of rotation and mowing efficiency.

Question 3: How often should the cutting blade in the tractor be replaced?
Frequency of replacement depends on the intensity of use, type of substrate and quality of maintenance. In many cases, it can work with the mulching function if the tractor is equipped for it, but the results can be different than with specialized mulching blades.

Question 5: How to take care of a knife to make it last as long as possible?
After each mowing, it is a good idea to remove grass residue and dirt from the blade surface and the unit. From time to time, check the sharpness of the cutting edge and sharpen it if necessary, with an even collection of material on both sides, so as not to disturb the balance. Before and after the season, a thorough inspection of the blade and mounts is recommended.

Question 6: Can I do the knife replacement myself?
Yes, with basic safety precautions, most users are able to replace the knife themselves. Turn off the tractor, secure it against accidental start-up, set it on a stable surface and use the appropriate tools. When in doubt, it's a good idea to get help from an authorized service center.
