Robust shovels, spades and snow scrapers
( number of products: 78 )Fresh snow has attacked and the road needs to be cleared quickly and easily? No problem! With our shovels and snow scrapers, everything will be done in no time and with little effort. We offer only products made from high-quality materials—our selection includes products made from steel or ultralight aluminum. For clearing snow from larger areas, we offer easy-to-use shovels with wheels to make working with snow easier.
If you need to get rid of ice at higher frosts, our ice scraper will certainly come in handy.Equipped with a long handle, they let you reach anywhere you need to.Non-slip boots are an excellent accessory for this job, as they prevent you from slipping on icy surfaces while pushing and shoveling snow.
A shovel and a snow scraper are essential tools for dealing with the powder that lingers on sidewalks and driveways.Shovels are lighter and easier to handle, but they pick up less snow than snow scrapers. It's important to choose the right tool for the job—if you need to clear snow from a flat surface, choose a snow scraper on wheels; if it's a narrow path, choose a snow shovel..For drivers, an entrenching tool or a folding shovel—which fits easily in the trunk—is the perfect solution.
Snow shovels
Winter is a time when falling snow often makes it difficult for us to leave the house or get to the street.Unfortunately, winter often catches not only road crews by surprise, but also ordinary residents, who, while trying to get out of their yards, find themselves stuck in snow up to their waists.Fortunately, a snow shovel will help us dig ourselves out and clear the path to the gate or the driveway.
In our store, you'll find high-quality snow shovels, snow plows, and shovels for spreading salt and sand and ice breakers. Depending on your needs, models made of various materials are available—both smaller ones and larger ones for clearing snow from larger areas.
Snow shovel made of plastic or metal?
You've probably noticed that our store carries both aluminum snow shovels as well as those made of plastic.Although most people choose plastic shovels because of the price, it’s important to keep in mind that they are less durable than aluminum ones and, unfortunately, can break.Aluminum is lightweight, so you don't have to worry that the shovel will be too heavy.Keep in mind, however, that because of the weight, you should choose a shovel that also has an aluminum handle, since a wooden one will be much heavier. For example, an aluminum Fiskars snow shovel will allow us to clear snow quickly without causing too much fatigue or back pain.
How to choose a snow shovel?
It would seem that choosing a snow shovel is simple. However, it all depends on what kind of surfaces you'll be using it to clear of snow and whether you'll be clearing snow on your own or, for example, with another person.
As we have already mentioned, the weight of the tool is important.Heavy-duty snow shovel is simply uncomfortable, and working with it becomes a real chore after a while. That's why you should choose an aluminum or plastic shovel and an aluminum pole.
The second issue is the working width of the shovel. It should be large enough to scoop up a fairly large amount of snow, but not so large that it makes it difficult to lift the shovel with the snow on it.Typically, shovels are about.35-40 cm.However, our store also offers a manual snow plow, with a width ranging from 70 to over 80 cm.A plow like this can be operated by up to two people.Wider shovels are ideal for clearing snow from large areas, such as a parking lot.
Another thing to pay attention to is the finish of the bucket. Most commonly snow shovels have an aluminum edge, which makes it easier to clear snow on flat ground, protects the shovel from damage, and also works well as an ice breaker. Keep in mind, however, that metal edges can be noisy, so when clearing snow from concrete surfaces, you can use a shovel with a rubber edge.
Our store also carries a car snow shovel, an ice pick , and a spreader. The sand or salt shovel is freeze-resistant and allows for precise dispensing of the materials being spread.
