Where the Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I is mounted and how it works?
Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I robotic lawn mower is mounted outdoors, in the garden or home lawn area.At the heart of the system is the docking station, which is installed in a discreet, level spot near the edge of the lawn, ensuring good robot access and a stable base.Mowing robot equipped with AONavi 2.0 navigation system (nRTK + VSLAM) and Vision AI, providing precise route planning and intelligent obstacle avoidance.The device works without a limiting cable and without RTK antenna installation.Equipped with a floating cutting disc, a docking disc for mowing very close to the edge of the lawn, and front off-road wheels for improved stability on uneven terrain.
The Sunseeker Elite X3 Gen 2 mowing robot is the ideal choice for those looking for a next-generation wireless mowing robot - intelligent, precise and fully autonomous.Bet on technology that takes care of your lawn by itself every day.
Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I independently leaves the docking station at preset times, scans its surroundings with sensors and starts mowing.During operation, the robot automatically avoids obstacles (trees, flowerbeds, garden furniture), adapts the route to the shape of the garden, and when the cycle is over or the battery charge drops, it returns to the station to recharge itself.The whole process is done without user intervention.
The mower is designed for use on lawns next to single-family homes, in recreational areas next to guesthouses or commercial facilities, as well as on complex properties with numerous obstacles.Thanks to its compact yet stable design, it handles bumps very well, and its weight of approx.10 kg helps maintain traction on inclines.

Use of Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I robotic lawn mower in the garden
Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I mowing robot is designed for daily maintenance of home and representative lawns.It will be ideal for:
- gardens next to single-family homes, where the user expects to always have an even, dense lawn without the effort of traditional mowing;
- properties with extensive plantings, paths and landscaping elements - the robot, thanks to sensors and intelligent algorithms, avoids obstacles and adjusts the mowing route;
- gardens at offices, boarding houses, service facilities, where the aesthetics of the area around the building affect the image of the company, and the time of employees is more valuable than manual mowing;
- lawns that require frequent, gentle cutting, which promotes grass compaction and reduces weed growth.
Regular automatic mowing ensures that the blades of grass are cut frequently, but very gently.Fine clippings remain on the turf as a natural fertilizer (mulching function), improving the condition of the lawn and reducing the need for mineral fertilization.
Sunseeker X3i mowing robot - 2nd Generation
Sunseeker X3i Gen 2 mowing robot - without cord, AONavi 2.0 (nRTK + VSLAM) and
Vision AI

Sunseeker X3i Gen 2 uses Vision AI with binocular (stereoscopic) camera in day vision mode.The stereoscopic camera allows the robot to "see" depth, that is, to better judge the distance to objects along the route, and this directly affects the culture of operation.Instead of driving into an obstacle and only then reacting, the robot recognizes in advance that there is an object in front of it and can plan a smooth evasive maneuver.In practice, this means less jerky stops, fewer abrupt corrections, and more stable mowing in a garden that is normally used: with patio furniture, pots, toys or decorative elements.For the user, it's also more comfortable - a cordless mowing robot works consistently across the map, doesn't lose the rhythm of mowing, and less often requires manual intervention, as it better matches passes to real garden conditions.It's also worth mentioning that the X3/X3i and X5/X5i models feature an additional solution for edging: an edge trim disc with three blades, which allows you to mow at the very borders of the lawn.

Intelligent Navigation and Precision
AONavi 2.0: nRTK + VSLAM - stable guidance on virtual borders

The biggest advantage of the Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I robotic mower is the ability to completely delegate lawn mowing.The user sets the work schedule once, and the robot starts and finishes mowing on its own on selected days and times.With this:
- you gain additional hours of free time each week - instead of pushing a traditional lawnmower, you can relax, spend time with your family or pursue your passions;
- twa lawn is always evenly cut - frequent, gentle mowing eliminates the effect of "regrowing clumps" and ensures the aesthetic appearance of the garden regardless of the day of the week;
- you don't worry about storing and refueling a petrol mower - the robot is electric, eco-friendly and recharges automatically;
- you eliminate noise - quiet operation allows you to mow even in the morning or evening, without disturbing household members and neighbors.
For many users, the modern, minimalist design of the device is also a huge advantage, which fits perfectly with the aesthetics of modern gardens and modern single-family homes.
The Sunseeker X3i Gen 2 uses AONavi 2.0, a combination of nRTK and VSLAM.nRTK provides positioning correction,so that the cable-free mowing robot can maintain virtual boundaries and trajectory with high repeatability.VSLAM supports image-based spatial orientation to help you navigate your lawn map steadily and maintain predictable mowing in a typical home environment.In practice, this gives you even mowing lanes, clear zone guidance, and fewer accidental, "chaotic" route adjustments.
Vision AI and binocular camera: smooth obstacle detection in daytime mode

Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I robotic mower - quality, durability and reliability
The Sunseeker brand specializes in new-generation mowing robots, with an emphasis on robust construction and refined control electronics.The Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I is designed to perform reliably for many seasons, even in harsher weather conditions.Durable housing resistant to mechanical damage and UV radiation, a well-thought-out drive system with large wheels with expressive tread and an overload protection system translate into long and trouble-free operation.
The low unladen weight (about 10 kg) makes the device easy to carry, while it is optimized to provide adequate ground pressure and effective maneuvering on the lawn.Built-in tilt and lift sensors stop the knives immediately when the robot is lifted, making it safer to use.
From the perspective of daily use, this means that once installed and properly configured, the robot requires only periodic replacement of blades and inspection of the condition of components.This makes it easy to keep it in excellent condition, and the cost of operation is low compared to petrol mowers.
X3i Gen 2 uses Vision AI with binocular (stereoscopic) camera in day vision mode.Such an arrangement allows the robot to better judge the distance to obstacles and react more smoothly than designs based solely on contact with an object.For the user, this means fewer unnecessary stops, more stable operation along the mowing route, and better matching of passes to real garden conditions.
OTA updates: feature development and stability of operation

OTA updates allow mowing robot software to evolve without a service visit.In devices based on navigation and AI technologies, updates are important because they can address mapping stability, route planning, obstacle detection, overall reliability of operation during the season, and additional options still under development.

Advanced RTK technology and smart sensors - precise navigation of the Sunseeker X3 GEN 2 robot
The RTK designation in the name of the mower indicates the use of advanced Real Time Kinematic satellite positioning technology.In practice, this means extremely precise determination of the robot's position in the garden, and thus precise guidance along pre-programmed mowing routes.The robot moves in an orderly manner, minimizing the formation of accidentally bypassed sections of the lawn.
Complementing the RTK system are sensors responsible for detecting obstacles, tilt, elevation and precipitation.Thanks to them, the mower automatically slows down, avoids encountered objects or, if necessary, stops the blades to ensure the safety of children and pets in the garden.A rain sensor can be responsible for stopping work during heavy rainfall to protect the turf from damage and ensure optimal mowing quality.
The use of such extensive electronics means that the Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I will also cope with gardens of unusual shape, with numerous zones, narrow passages or obstacles in the form of flowerbeds, shrubs and small architecture.
Perfect Lawn Mowing and Aesthetics
Closer mowing at obstacles: fewer corrections with the trimmer

Around obstacles, the easiest way to get under-occupation: by trees, furniture legs, swings, trampolines, stakes, pots or elements of small architecture.These are the places that most often force users to make corrections with a trimmer, because robots with simpler navigation leave a "safe reserve" to avoid contact with an obstacle.Vision AI-supported object recognition allows X3i Gen 2 more accurately determine the position of an obstacle and guide the pass to perform closer mowing at obstacles without unnecessary backtracking and wandering.The effect is especially noticeable with daily mowing: the lines around objects are clearer, the lawn looks "cleaner," and the number of manual corrections during the season is noticeably lower.This is one of those features that is most is appreciated after a few weeks of use, because it saves real time - especially in gardens where obstacles often change position.

20 cm wide, 3 blades and adjustable 20-60 mm

Sunseeker X3i Gen 2 mows 20 cm wide, uses 3 blades and operates at 2500 RPM blade speed.It is a configuration created for small gardens where precision maneuvering and frequent, regular mowing to promote turf compaction are important.You will set the cutting height in the range of 20-60 mm, and the adjustment is manual, changing the setting is done with a knob located on the
on a mowing job.

Edge trimming and grass border mowing: a cleaner result at the lawn's edge

Trimming the edges improves the aesthetics of the lawn, because it is at the edges that the strip is most often left unmowed.The X3/X3i Gen 2 and X5/X5i Gen 2 feature an additional mechanical solution: an additional edge trim disc with three razor blades. Such an additional disc works as a separate cutting element designed for edge work, so that the robot can more accurately "cut" the lawn line along vertical obstacles or in places where it cannot drive the second wheel beyond the lawn.Such situations occur when mowing along pavers, slabs, lawn edging, flowerbeds or fences.In practice, this means perfectly mowed edges, fewer manual corrections with a trimmer and a more presentable appearance of the lawn, especially in gardens with a large number of edges and folds.Edge trim is also a separate mode that you can send the robot to when you want a quick refresh of the edges.

Everyday use - how the Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I makes life easier?
In practice, the user using the Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I robotic mower can plan a detailed work schedule for it, adapted to the lifestyle of the household members.For example:
- mowing from Monday to Friday in the morning, when everyone is at work and school - when you return, the lawn is perfectly mowed;
- extended cycles at night during the period of intensive grass growth - quiet operation of the robot does not disturb the sleep of household members or neighbors;
- separate schedules for the weekend, when you use the garden more often and prefer the robot to work at different times.
The device will work well both in small home gardens and on larger recreational plots where manual mowing would take many hours.Thanks to the automatic charging system, there is no risk of the robot stopping in the middle of work - when the battery level drops, it will return to the base on its own, recharge and complete the cycle it started.
During the holiday season, you will also appreciate the ability to leave your garden unattended for an extended period of time - the robot will take care of the lawn in your absence, so that when you return you will find the garden in impeccable condition, without having to do "catch-up work".
Ride-On Boundary Cutting: mowing going over the edge

In ride-on boundary technology, the robot cuts the edge primarily with the main cutting disc.When the edge of the lawn allows the robot to swing one side out of the lawn (e.g., with a level cube, flat edge or low band), then the main disc reaches as far as possible to the line of the border and is able to "harvest" the grass very accurately - practically to the last blade of grass.However, if such pivoting is not possible (e.g., high edge, faults, tight edging), the robot makes a pass along the edge, and on the X3/X3i and X5/X5i models, final edging can additionally be performed by a dedicated edging disc (3 blades), helping to achieve an even cleaner lawn line where the main disc does not have physical access.

Spot Mowing

Spot Mowing was created to quickly "finish" a lawn in an area that the robot previously had to bypass.During normal mowing, the Sunseeker robotic mower avoids obstacles - toys, a bicycle, a garden hose, and even animals (such as a dog).When such an obstacle disappears, the lawn may be left unmowed exactly where it was before
fixed.Instead of running the mowing of the entire zone from scratch, you select a small area on the map in the app and the robot mows only that designated section.This makes it easier to maintain an even turf because you are leveling only a few square meters without re-mowing the entire lawn.

Multi-Angle Cutting: different cutting angles for a better look

Setting different mowing angles helps reduce the formation of ruts and improves the aesthetics of the lawn.By changing the direction of passes, the blades are undercut from different sides and the effect is more even, especially with a regular mowing schedule.

AI sub-zones: automatic zone division for faster mowing and fewer turns

AI subzones optimize mowing in irregularly shaped gardens.If you have an "L" shaped zone, the robot can automatically divide it into two sub-zones to reduce the number of turns and conduct mowing more logically.As a result, the lawn is mowed faster, the robot makes fewer recharges during operation, and in the long run you also gain in battery life, because the system manages energy and mowing time more efficiently.This system is activated in the application by setting the mowing method to the optimal one.

Lawn Art: upload your own pattern and "cut" it into the lawn

The function of cutting patterns in the grass allows you to create decorative runs and achieve a presentable appearance of the lawn.This is an option for users who care about detail and want to get the "gardener" effect without manual labor.It is worth remembering an important rule: your own patterns uploaded to the robot will only be available after 36 hours, so be patient.

Sunseeker X3i Gen 2 supports Wi-Fi / Bluetooth / 4G and uses a standard service module that combines nRTK access with Anti-Theft security features.In practice, 4G makes it more convenient to manage the robot out of Wi-Fi range, while GeoFence allows you to set up a virtual safety zone and supports the response to an attempt to move the robot out of the designated area.
Data package renewal cost and internet access requirement
For X3i Gen 2, the nRTK Service + Anti-Theft package is available free of charge for 2 years.At the end of the free period, a paid in-app data package renewal is required: 49 EUR for each year, purchase directly in the app.It is worth specifying to the customer that a subscription is not required for the robot itself, while the nRTK system relies on data transmission, so the
during operation, the robot must have access to the Internet (most often it is provided by Wi-Fi in the garden or 4G connectivity).This is a standard feature of all nRTK-based mowing robots.
For users who want to further improve signal stability in difficult terrain, there is an option to buy an RTK base station, which can increase positioning confidence in gardens with dense trees, buildings or less favorable sky exposure.

FAQ - frequently asked questions about Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I
Can the Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I robotic lawn mower cope with multiple obstacles in the garden?
Yes.The robot is equipped with a number of sensors responsible for detecting obstacles and an advanced navigation system.This way it avoids trees, flower beds, garden furniture and other elements on the lawn, adjusting the mowing route to the actual shape of the garden.
How often do I have to supervise the mower?
After the initial setup and setting of the work schedule, supervision of the robot is limited to periodic inspections: checking the condition of the blades, cleaning the housing, if necessary, and checking the lawn for objects that could interfere with operation.The mower independently starts and finishes mowing and returns to the docking station.
Is Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I safe for children and pets?
Yes.The device is equipped with lift and tilt sensors that immediately stop the operation of the blades when the robot is raised.In addition, collision sensors slow down and stop the mower when it encounters an obstacle.Emergency STOP button allows immediate shutdown of the device in any situation.
Can I use the mower in the rain?
The robot has safety features designed for outdoor operation, but for the best quality of mowing and to protect the lawn, it is recommended that heavy rainfall is a signal to stop work.Sensors can stop mowing when it rains, and the robot will automatically return to the docking station.
How often do you need to replace the cutting blades?
The frequency of blade replacement depends on the intensity of use, the size of the lawn and the type of grass.For typical seasonal use, it is recommended to check the condition of the blades every few weeks and replace them when you notice a deterioration in the quality of the cut (frayed blade tips, more grass residue left behind).Regular replacement of blades ensures an even cut and a healthy looking lawn.
Can the mowing robot cope with sloping terrain?
Thanks to its large wheels with pronounced tread and appropriately sized weight, the Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I handles well on moderately sloping terrain, typical of most home gardens.However, in the case of very steep slopes, it is recommended to assess the conditions individually and configure the work area accordingly to ensure full safety and stability.
Will I install the mower myself after purchase?
Yes.The installation of the docking station and the configuration of the robot are designed to be handled by the average home user.All you have to do is follow the instructions that come with the device: select a location for the station, connect the power supply, configure the robot's settings and, depending on the solution, designate a work area.Professional installation services are also available if needed.
What operating costs are generated by the Sunseeker Elite X3 GEN 2 RTK X3I?
Operating costs are mainly limited to the electricity needed to charge the battery, periodic replacement of the blades and any service checks.In practice, they are significantly lower than those of traditional internal combustion mowers, which require the purchase of fuel, oil and more frequent servicing.
Does the Sunseeker X3i Gen 2 require burying the boundary wire?
Not.X3i Gen 2 works as a cordless mowing robot - you set the boundaries as virtual boundaries in the app after mapping.
This way you don't interfere with the lawn and it's easier to make changes to the zone layout.
How the AONavi 2.0 system works and what the combination of nRTK with VSLAM gives you?
AONavi 2.0 combines nRTK (precision positioning with correction) with VSLAM (image-based orientation).In practice, the robot moves
moves around the map more steadily, maintains virtual boundaries with high repeatability, and mows in a more orderly, predictable manner
instead of "wandering" on the lawn.
What happens when a robot loses its GPS signal under dense trees or against a building wall?
In areas with poorer sky visibility, satellite signal quality decreases, so VSLAM support is crucial to help
the robot to maintain its orientation and continue to follow the map in the more difficult parts of the garden.If the garden is particularly
demanding in terms of signal, an additional enhancement can be the purchase of an RTK base station, which improves stability
positioning in areas with poorer sky exposure.Regardless, because nRTK is based on data transmission,
the robot should have access to the Internet while working (Wi-Fi in the garden or 4G).
Can I change the garden map in the app myself without reinstalling it?
Yes - since there is no wire, you can edit virtual boundaries and zones in the application (e.g. add islands, correct edges,
change transitions between zones).If you make major changes to the layout of the garden or the location of the station, in practice the fastest
the way to the ideal work is sometimes re-mapping, so that the return to the base and rides are 100% compatible with the new layout.
What are the costs of using the nRTK and 4G system after the 2-year free period has expired?
The nRTK Service + Anti-Theft package is free in X3i Gen 2 for 2 years.After this time, it requires renewal directly in
application: eUR 49 for each year.
Can the robot operate solely on Wi-Fi, without an active 4G package?
Yes.The robot can work without an active 4G package if you have stable Wi-Fi in the garden.The bottom line is that the nRTK uses a
data transmission, so during operation the robot must have access to the Internet.If the Internet provides Wi-Fi, a 4G subscription is not
necessary for the mowing itself.4G, on the other hand, is convenient where Wi-Fi coverage is poor or non-existent.
How does the GeoFence anti-theft system work and will I receive a notification on my phone when the robot leaves the
garden?
GeoFence allows you to set up a virtual security zone, and Anti-Theft supports monitoring the robot and responding when the device
will be outside the designated area.In practice, the user receives in-app notifications and security features are
related to robot services and connectivity.
What is the "Ride-On Boundary Cutting" function and how it affects edge tightening?
Ride-On Boundary Cutting is a mode in which the robot partially runs its wheels over a hard boundary (e.g., cubes, slabs) to cut the
grass as close to the border as possible.On the X3i Gen 2, the finishing effect is further supported by a physical edge trim dial with three
with razor blades, edging can look cleaner, and the number of corrections with a trimmer decreases.
What is the "Lawn Art" feature and can I create my own pattern on the lawn?
Lawn Art allows you to create decorative rides and patterns on your lawn.You can upload your own design, while you need to remember the following
rule: custom designs will not be available until approximately 36 hours after uploading.
Does the "Multi-Angle Cutting" function actually prevent ruts on the grass?
Yes - changing mowing angles reduces repetition of identical travel paths.This reduces the risk of wiping out the turf in the
the same areas, and the blades are undercut on different sides, giving a more even visual effect with regular mowing.
What is the "Spot Mowing" mode used for and when is it worth using it?
Spot Mowing is spot mowing of a selected area.It comes in handy when the grass grows faster in one place, after intensive
use of the garden or when you want to quickly level a small area without running the whole schedule.
What is the maximum slope the Sunseeker X3i Gen 2 can overcome?
The maximum operating slope for X3i Gen 2 is 30% (17°).For larger slopes and more difficult terrain, a better choice will be
more powerful models of the series.
Does the robot detect obstacles (e.g. toys, animals) at night?
X3i Gen 2 uses binocular camera and Vision AI in daytime mode, no night vision mode.If you care about mowing
after dark and more effective night work, choose models with Vision AI 2.0 (binocular + iToF) and night vision support, such as the Sunseeker X5i
Gen 2, Sunseeker X7i Gen 2 or Sunseeker X7i Plus Gen 2.
Like the improved bumper in 2.Generation affects the safety of the robot's operation?
The improved bumper on the X3i Gen 2 increases protection for the robot and its surroundings in situations where an obstacle suddenly appears or is in the
hard place.This is an additional layer of security in addition to Vision AI's obstacle detection.
Can the robot handle the curb or low thresholds between zones?
Yes, the Gen 2 series is designed to overcome low thresholds - the X3i Gen 2 can drive over obstacles of up to 4 cm.This makes it easier
working in gardens with transitions between zones and minor level differences.
Is the Sunseeker X3i Gen 2 waterproof and how to clean it?
The robot is waterproof to the Gen 2 series (IPX) standard, making it easy to clean during the season.The safest way to clean a robot under
low pressure, remove grass residue from the undercarriage regularly and keep the area around the cutter blade and wheels clean.
How does the rain sensor work and can I turn it off in the app?
Yes, you can disable Rain Sensor in the app.If the sensor is on, the robot reacts to precipitation and can stop mowing to avoid
work on wet turf.There is also a Rain Delay function in the application.For example: at
setting 2 hours the robot will attempt to leave 2 hours after rain is detected.If it still detects precipitation, it will return to the station and
will retry after another 2 hours - and so on until it is done.
Does the robot support voice control via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant?
Yes, the Gen 2 series provides for integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, which facilitates simple smart home scenarios (start, stop,
return to the station) without constantly opening the application.
How often the robot system is updated via the OTA function?
OTA updates are deployed remotely when a manufacturer releases new software versions (e.g., mapping stability fixes,
behavior on obstacles, development of functions).The frequency is not fixed and depends on the manufacturer's release cycle, and installation takes place
without a site visit.
