Guide

The GREENMAN AE500 is a professional tube aerator with a Loncin G200F engine (196 cm³, 4.1 kW/5.5 hp) that removes soil cores from the turf and creates hundreds of precise holes per sq. m. With a working width of 500 mm, a depth of up to 80 mm, and a belt-and-chain drive, the device ensures quick and sustained soil aeration, better water and fertilizer absorption, and stronger grass rooting. It is a proven choice for home gardens, estates, sports fields and golf courses.
1) Loncin G200F 196 cm³ engine - high torque (3600 rpm./min) guarantees smooth operation even on heavy, clay soils. In practice, you reduce the number of passes and save fuel and time.
2) Working width of 500 mm and efficiency of up to 2420 m²/h - ideal for large areas: football field, estate grounds, park or extensive garden. With one pass you cover a large strip of turf, maintaining an even working depth.
3) Belt and chain drive + weights - Belt carries base drive, chain takes care of reliable operation of working unit. Additional weights (2×21 kg) increase soil penetration and stability on uneven ground.
Application examples: spring lawn renovation after winter, pre-season field preparation, aeration of grass before reseeding and sanding.

1) 30 Ø20 mm tubes - up to 76 holes per m² - Removal of soil cores prevents soil compaction. The holes improve gas exchange and penetration of water and fertilizers, which accelerates turf regeneration and compaction.
2) Depth up to 80 mm - real oxygenation of the root zone. Lawn better withstands drought, heavy use and disease. Excellent base for reseeding and maintenance treatments (sanding, fertilizing).
3) Mobility and work rate - ok. 4.75 km/h - trouble-free guidance on straights and curves, convenient maneuvering between plantings and landscaping elements.
Examples of applications: renovation of school playground turf, care of hotel lawns, cyclic aeration of residential green spaces, preparation of turf for sprinklers and irrigation systems.

This self-propelled lawn core aeration device. A team of 30 hollow tubes cuts and selects narrow cores of soil from the turf, leaving regular holes. This loosens the soil, the roots are better oxygenated, and water and fertilizers reach the root zone faster.
AE500 does not need to be mounted to a tractor or vehicle - it is a complete machine driven by the operator. The device is used directly on the lawn: garden, recreational, sports, hotel or park lawn. Deck-mounted weights increase ground pressure for deeper aeration.

1. How core aeration differs from spike aeration?
Tubular working unit selects soil cores, realistically loosening the soil. Spikes only pierce the turf and can further compact the soil around the holes.
2. How often to perform AE500 aeration?
Mostly 1-2 times a year: in spring and/or autumn. On heavily used sports turf - even more often, according to the greenkeeping plan.
3. Is the device suitable for clayey, heavy soils?
Yes. High dead weight, additional weights and Ø20 mm tubes allow to effectively penetrate and loosen clayey soils.
4. How to prepare a lawn for aeration?
Mow the grass, remove lingering leaves and twigs, water the soil the day before (it should be moist, not soggy). After treatment, sanding and fertilizing is recommended.
5. Does the AE500 require special installation?
Not. It's a complete machine run by an operator. All you need to do is check the oil level, fuel and you're good to go.
6. What are the effects after the treatment?
Better water absorption, faster fertilizer penetration, turf regeneration and compaction, deeper root systemy and a more resilient lawn.
