Fiskars General Warranty Policy
1. For all products sold by FISKARS, the warranty period is 12 months from the date of the invoice or receipt.
2. The warranty covers the removal of all damages resulting from design errors, material defects and faulty workmanship that prevent further operation of the device. Parts replaced during repair remain the property of the guarantor.
3. Damage caused by improper use, such as overloading, faulty maintenance, interference by persons not authorized by FISKARS, chemical and electromechanical influences are excluded from the warranty. The warranty does not cover consumable (fast wearing) parts.
4. Damage to or removal of the unit's nameplate may void the warranty.
5. If a defect is noticed, the purchaser is obliged to deliver the device to the point of sale, an authorized service centre or to the FISKARS headquarters.
6. The advertised device should be accompanied by a claim form with a description of the defect.
7. The basis for consideration of a complaint is the submission of proof of purchase (invoice, receipt), a completed warranty card and a completed claim form.8. Goods submitted for complaint should be placed in packaging that protects them from damage associated with transportation. Liability for damage caused by inadequate product protection shall be borne by the shipper.
9. The Submitter will be informed by e-mail or telephone about the processing of the complaint.
10. If the complaint is unfounded, the purchaser shall bear all costs associated with it, including transportation costs. Equipment not collected within 30 days will be charged for storage, and after 90 days will be disposed of.
11. The warranty repair period should not exceed 14 days. In exceptional cases, this period may be extended, of which the Applicant will be informed.
12. If the purchaser buys a defective device, the right to warranty repair of the defect is granted only if this was stipulated at the time of purchase.
13. The warranty excludes further claims of the purchaser, and in particular the demand for coverage of damages that did not arise in the delivery item itself.
14. This warranty is valid on the territory of Poland.


Fiskars warranty for a period of 25 years
the 25-year warranty period begins on the date of the original retail purchase. This guarantee is only valid in the territory of the European Union, Switzerland, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and Kazakhstan. For the warranty to be valid, it is necessary to register the product online (www.fiskars.eu/warranty) within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase.
This warranty is provided in addition to the warranties provided by the reseller and does not affect these warranties in any way, and does not affect any rights you may have under mandatory national law.
Limitations and exclusions of the 25-year warranty


This warranty does not apply:
when the products are used for commercial, professional or rental purposes;
to products that have undergone modifications, repairs or repair attempts not authorized by Fiskars.
 
This warranty does not cover defects or damage directly or indirectly resulting from:
normal use (such as scratches or abrasions);
possible changes in the external appearance of the product, if such changes do not affect the functionality of the product;
misuse, careless handling, negligence or accident, such as hitting, kicking, dropping or crushing the product;
use the product in a manner contrary to its intended or recommended use;
temperature extremes (including heat, flames, or temperatures sustained for extended periods of time above +40 or below -30 degrees Celsius);
failure to follow proper maintenance, including cleaning the product after use or storing the product away from sunlight and weather;
improper or insufficient storage or care of the product (including rusting or discoloration);
use of inappropriate cleaning methods or agents, including acids or solvents;
exposing the product to particularly aggressive and corrosive environments (for example, a marine or industrial environment or leaving the product in continuous contact with water, chemicals, ash, cement or dust).

Fiskars warranty service
A warranty claim must be submitted to the nearest Fiskars customer service center in writing during the warranty period within thirty (30) days from the date the defect was or should have been discovered. Such notification should be accompanied by the transfer of the defective product. The claim must include the name, address and telephone number of the owner, the date of purchase, a description of the defect and the date the defect was discovered.
Acceptance of a warranty claim is at the sole discretion of Fiskars. If such a claim is accepted, the product in question will, at Fiskars' sole discretion, either be repaired or replaced with a similar product. In the case of models withdrawn from sale, the defective product will be replaced with the most similar model from the currently available offer. Neither replacement nor repair of the product will extend the original warranty period.

Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Fiskars be liable for any incidental, indirect or consequential damages, including special damages; damages to or restrictions on the use of any equipment; loss of profits, productivity, functionality, orders, sales opportunities, revenue or potential savings; termination of contracts, increased costs or delay in performance or failure to provide warranty service.

Our products have been carefully tested and perform perfectly in the jobs and environments for which they are intended. However, regardless of our efforts, errors can occur in the production process. To provide customers with the best possible utility of Fiskars 4 axes. generation of the X series and Fiskars axes from the Norden series, we have covered these products with a globally valid 25-year limited warranty on materials and workmanship.
