WIDTH DRAWER - LARGE DROPPER OTH-GSP8989 for Pulmic and Keeper sprayers - professional drift control and even spray

WIDE ANGLE NOZZLE - LARGE DROP OTH-GSP8989 is a specialized spray tip designed for precise, even and safe application of crop protection products, herbicides and liquid fertilizers. Thanks to its large droplet size, it reduces wind drift, improves treatment efficiency and increases safety for neighboring crops, the environment and the operator.

Large droplet size, which minimizes displacement (drift); (340 microns up to 3 bar). Has a large opening angle for low pressures (1 bar). Uniformity in application. High adaptability to uneven terrain, as the minimum working height is 30 cm above the weeds. The nozzle spacing is 50 cm. Recommended for Pulmic and Keeper brand sprayers.

The component is designed for both professional users and discerning hobbyists who want reliability, repeatable results and maximum use of applied formulations while reducing waste and risk of drift.

What is the WIDELINE DISTANCE - LARGE DROP OTH-GSP8989?

It is a wide-angle spray nozzle that generates large droplets with a diameter of approx. 340 microns at pressures up to 3 bar, designed to work at low pressures (as low as 1 bar). The parameters chosen in this way make the liquid stream stable, well directed to the plants and much less susceptible to wind than in the case of nozzles that produce fine droplets.

Where the WIDTH DISTANCE - LARGE DROOP OTH-GSP8989 is mounted?

The nozzle is designed for installation on pulmic and Keeper brand backpack and battery sprayers. It attaches to the standard spray lance socket instead of the factory nozzle or as an additional replacement nozzle, depending on the type of treatment to be performed. Thanks to its simple design, assembly and disassembly are quick, making it easy to adjust spray parameters to current field conditions.

APPLICATION OF THE WIDELINE DISTANCE - LARGE DROUGH OTH-GSP8989

  • application of foliar herbicides on agricultural plantations, orchards and vegetable crops,
  • weed spraying in green areas, roadsides, yards and access roads,
  • treatments in field crops on uneven terrain, where maintaining a constant spray boom height is difficult,
  • protective spraying on horticultural farms and in home gardens requiring precise yet safe application of agents.

Precise drift control - how the large droplet of the OTH-GSP8989 WIDTH DISTANCE increases spray safety

The most important feature of the nozzle OTH-GSP8989 is generating large drops with a diameter of approx 340 microns at pressures up to 3 bar. This size makes individual drops heavier and more stable in the air. This reduces the risk of spray drift outside the intended application area, which is crucial when working near other crops, farm buildings, apiaries or residential areas.

Minimizing drift also means saving crop protection products. Each sprayed drop is more likely to reach exactly where it should - on the leaves of weeds or protected plants. In this way, we reduce the loss of the product and can plan working doses more precisely. This directly translates into lower treatment costs and greater repeatability of their effectiveness from season to season.

The large drop size is especially important in situations where we do not have full control over weather conditions, such as in light, variable winds or when working in open areas exposed to gusts. The user of a Pulmic or Keeper sprayer thus gains a greater margin of safety and less risk of unwanted drift.

Examples of daily use:

  • spraying weeds on a field adjacent to a sensitive crop - large drops reduce the risk of damaging plants on a neighboring plot,
  • herbicide treatments near fences and garden plot boundaries - the spray is better targeted and less prone to blasts,
  • precise application of measures on wasteland or roadsides, near farms and residential buildings.

Wide angle nozzle OTH-GSP8989 for Pulmic and Keeper sprayers - wide opening angle and comfortable low pressure operation

Model WIDE ANGLE NOZZLE - LARGE DROP OTH-GSP8989 has been designed to provide a large opening angle of the jet already at low working pressure from 1 bar. This means that at moderate pressure, a wide, even spray beam is achieved, covering a significant strip of area in one pass.

Operating at a lower pressure reduces energy consumption (in the case of battery sprayers, it extends the operating time on a single charge), while reducing wear and tear on the equipment's working components. This is especially important for users who perform numerous treatments during the season - farmers, fruit growers and service companies engaged in spraying plantations, green areas or municipal infrastructure.

The wide spray angle also makes it easier to maintaining an even coverage of plants without the need for dense crossings or passages. Fewer passes mean less operator time and less soil compaction in field crops or reduced risk of plant damage in gardens.

Examples of daily use:

  • spraying in plastic tunnels and greenhouses, where gentle pressure and wide, even coverage of plants is important,
  • regular herbicide treatments on large lawns and landscaped areas - the wide angle limits the number of passes,
  • use in Pulmic/Keeper battery sprayers when maximum run time on a single charge is a priority.

Uniformity of spraying and working on uneven terrain - minimum height of only 30 cm above weeds

Nozzle OTH-GSP8989 provides high uniformity of application, i.e. even distribution of droplets across the entire spray width. This reduces the risk of "empty strips" or areas with excessive application rates, which is critical to the effectiveness of herbicide treatments and the safety of crops.

A big advantage of this model is also excellent adaptation to uneven terrain. The minimum recommended working height is just 30 cm above the weeds. This means that even in fields with varying terrain, slopes or agricultural terraces, it is possible to maintain the optimal distance of the nozzle from the sprayed surface without risking loss of uniformity of coverage.

With this way of working, we also reduce the amount of spray mist floating over the plants, again reducing drift and improving operator comfort and safety. The nozzle works well with a standard nozzle spacing of 50 cm, so it can be successfully used as a replacement or supplement to existing solutions on spray booms and hand lances.

Examples of daily use:

  • spraying weeds on uneven spears, slopes and field edges,
  • treatments on plantations with irregular surfaces, where it is difficult to maintain a perfectly constant lance height,
  • precision spraying in orchards or berry plantations - working close to the weeds, with excellent control of spray direction.

Durability, reliability and ease of use of the OTH-GSP8989 large droplet wide angle nozzle

WIDE ANGLE NOZZLE - LARGE DROP OTH-GSP8989 has been made of durable, chemical-resistant plastic, which translates into a long life even under intensive use in harsh field conditions. Wear resistance ensures that the original shape of the hole and thus the constant spray parameters are maintained for a long time.

The simple, compact design makes it easy to cleaning and maintenance. In the event of a possible blockage, the nozzle can be easily removed, rinsed and reinstalled, without the use of complicated tools. This is important during the season, when every hour of the weather window counts for the execution of protective measures.

The model is recommended for sprayers Pulmic and Keeper, which gives the user the assurance of compatibility and correct operation. Using a branded, dedicated nozzle also means less risk of leaks, improper flow and faster wear of lance components.

Examples of daily use:

  • intensive use on farms that perform many operations during the season and need reliable attachments,
  • work in contract spraying service companies - high durability and speed of nozzle service are key to timely service,
  • use in horticultural farms, where low failure rate and ease of preparing the sprayer for work are important.
