1. OM LINE OO-OTHOM03 sand shovel - hardened boron steel head for maximum durability

OM LINE OO-OTHOM03 sand shovel head is made of hardened boron steel. The addition of boron significantly increases hardness and abrasion resistance, which in practice means that the working edge stays sharp longer, does not bend or deform even with frequent use on the construction site or on the farm.
Hardening of the steel makes the tool better able to withstand dynamic loads, such as hitting compacted sand, sub-base under pavers or fine debris. Thus, the shovel will not "get tired" after one season, but will serve for many years.
Three key benefits of the hardened boron steel head:
- Exceptional abrasion resistance - with continuous contact with sand, gravel and other aggregates, the edge of the tool does not wear off quickly. This is important especially for construction and road companies, where the shoveler works several hours a day.
- Stable shape of the working part - the head does not deform under the weight of the material, which guarantees precise pick-up and transfer of loose fractions. The material does not spill, and each movement is effective.
- Occupational safety - Robust, durable head reduces the risk of breakage or sudden bending during operation, which is especially important when the tool is used in harsh conditions.
Examples of daily applications:
- At construction of a single-family house - For backfilling foundations, preparing ballast for concrete footings and leveling sand foundation for terraces.
- W paving company - for evenly spreading sand under paving stones, making the surface stable and resistant to collapse.
- W farm - For loading mixed feed, grain or bulk fertilizer onto carts and trailers where speed and precision are important.
2. Profiled steel handle - high strength and secure grip in all conditions

Profiled steel handle is one of the most important parts of the shovel. Instead of traditional wood, strong steel is used, properly formed and reinforced, which provides high resistance to breakage, bending and twisting when working in harsh conditions. Shank profiling reduces its "work" under load, increases rigidity and improves ergonomics of the tool.
Steel handle works well in wet, dirty and temperature sensitive environments. Unlike untreated wood, it does not soak up water and does not crack as easily due to drying out.
The three most important advantages of a profiled steel shaft:
- Fracture resistance - even with dynamic, "forceful" use on the construction site, the risk of damage to the shaft is minimized. This is especially important when working with heavy aggregates.
- Constant stiffness - profiling prevents excessive bending and twisting of the handle. The user's movements are transmitted directly to the head, which ensures precise control over the amount and direction of the dumped material.
- Weather resistance - The steel handle withstands moisture, mud, snow and low temperatures, allowing you to use the shovel all year round without worrying about delamination or cracking of the material.
Examples of practical use:
- W road company - When ballasting and leveling sand during the repair of sidewalks and streets, often in rain or snow.
- W aggregate warehouse - for quickly flipping sand, gravel or road salt from the pile into containers or salt trucks, without worrying about damaging the handle.
- W winter conditions - when the shovel is left outside, the steel shaft does not deform and deteriorate like wood under the influence of moisture and frost.
3. Ergonomic HDPE molded handle - comfort and convenience for long hours of work

Used in the model OM LINE OO-OTHOM03 HDPE profiled handle (high-density polyethylene) significantly improves user comfort. The material is resistant to cracking, UV radiation, low temperatures and moisture exposure. At the same time, it allows you to contour the handle so that it fits better in the user's hand.
Profiled handle increases control over the tool - makes it easier to pick up material and dump it precisely in the desired location. Less fatigue in the hands and forearms is a real benefit, especially for those who work professionally with sand and aggregates.
Three major pluses of the HDPE handle:
- Secure, ergonomic grip - the shape of the handle is adapted to the natural position of the hand, which prevents slipping of the hand and reduces the risk of corns.
- Damage resistance - HDPE is resistant to impact, cracking and low temperatures, so the handle retains structural integrity for a long time.
- Easy to keep clean - smooth surface of the plastic is easy to wash from mud, dust and construction dirt, which improves the hygiene of work and aesthetics of the tool.
Examples of applications in daily work:
- In paving crews - Shovel operator scoops and spreads sand for hours; ergonomic handle minimizes fatigue and risk of wrist injury.
- In utility companies - In winter, with thick work gloves, the HDPE handle provides a good grip even on slippery surfaces.
- In the home garden - with prolonged flipping of soil or sand on the driveway or under the pavement, the user feels significantly less stress on the hand than with traditional straight handles.
4. Versatile use of OM LINE OO-OTHOM03 sand shovel in home, garden and business

OM LINE sand shovel OO-OTHOM03 is a tool with a very broad spectrum of applications. Its design - a combination of hardened head, steel shaft and comfortable handle - means it can handle both light and medium-heavy bulk materials. This makes it suitable for many industries and situations, making it a versatile piece of equipment for any farm or business.
Three key application fields:
- Garden and household work - transferring soil, sand to the sandbox, transferring compost, bark, sawdust or decorative gravel. The shovel also makes it easier to prepare the ground for paths, terraces and driveways.
- Construction and road works - loading and spreading ballast, leveling surfaces before concreting, site cleanup work, moving sand when repairing sidewalks, stairs or curbs.
- Farms and warehouses - flipping grain, fertilizers, loose feed, as well as handling silos, heaps and bags. In aggregate warehouses, the shovel is helpful for manual loading and quick cleanup of work areas.
Examples of practical use:
- W garden - spreading a load of sand brought by dump truck under the planned terrace or paths.
- At construction site - Quickly improve and level sand ballast for pavers or flagstones, without the need for large machinery.
- W farm - flipping loose feed into troughs, filling bags with grain and cleaning up spilled materials on the floor.

Model OM LINE OO-OTHOM03 is a tool designed for users expecting high durability and reliability. The combination of hardened boron steel, steel handle and ergonomic grip creates a shovel that can easily withstand heavy use in demanding conditions.
Three key quality advantages for the customer:
- Long tool life - thanks to the use of industrial-grade materials, the shovel does not require frequent replacement, which generates real savings for companies and farms.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about OM LINE sand shovel OO-OTHOM03
Question 1: What materials is the OM LINE OO-OTHOM03 sand shovel best suited for??
Answer: The shovel is designed primarily to work with loose materials: sand, gravel, aggregates, earth, compost, fertilizer and grain. Thanks to its suitable head shape and sturdy construction, it also works well with the ballast for paving stones and sand and salt mixture during the winter period.
Question 2: Will the shovel perform well in professional construction applications?
Answer: Yes. The hardened boron steel head and the steel profiled handle were chosen precisely for intensive professional use. The tool is resistant to abrasion, deformation and breakage, so it will work well on construction sites, road companies, paving companies and bulk material stores.
Question 3: Is the HDPE handle resistant to low temperatures and UV radiation?
Answer: Yes, HDPE is a highly weather-resistant plastic. Does not crack easily at low temperatures, is resistant to moisture and sunlight. As a result, the shovel can be used and stored outdoors for a long time without losing functionality and aesthetics.
Question 4: Does the shovel require special maintenance?
Answer: Basic care is recommended: after finishing work, it is a good idea to clean the head from residual material, and store the tool in a dry place. Thanks to the hardened boron steel and steel handle, the shovel does not require complicated maintenance - just periodic removal of dirt and possible surface rust, if it forms after prolonged contact with moisture.
Question 5: Is the shovel suitable for occasional snow removal?
Answer: Yes, although it is primarily a sand shovel, it will also work well for removing frozen snow, ice or a mixture of snow and sand. Hardened head stands up well to working in hard, compacted material. Note, however, that this is not a classic wide shovel for large areas of snow, but a tool aimed at loose materials.
