OM LINE OO-OTHOM01 sharp spade - a professional tool for the garden and earthworks

Spade sharp om line

sharpened head made of hardened
boron steel, steel shank
profiled, profiled handle
made of HDPE

OM LINE SHARP SPADE OO-OTHOM01 is a robust, professional gardening tool designed for intensive work in the home garden, on the allotment and on the construction site. With its sharp head of hardened boron steel and sturdy, profiled steel handle, it is perfect for digging, digging, planting and any earthwork in hard, compact or rocky ground.

What is the OM LINE OO-OTHOM01 sharp stropel?
This is a spade with a rectangular, sharpened head, made of wear-resistant, hardened boron steel. It is equipped with a steel profiled handle and an ergonomic "D" type handle made of durable HDPE plastic. This combination of materials ensures high durability, comfort and safety of use - for both amateur gardeners and professionals.

Where the OM LINE OO-OTHOM01 spade is used and how it is "mounted"?
The spade does not require assembly in the traditional sense - it is a ready-made hand tool. It is used wherever precise and efficient digging is needed:

  • home gardens and recreational plots,
  • flower beds, vegetable beds,
  • earthworks for the construction of houses, fences, terraces,
  • establishment and maintenance of lawns,
  • forming the edges of flower beds and paths.

Simply grasp the comfortable HDPE handle, rest your foot on the edge of the head and use the full length of the steel handle to effectively dig the spade into the ground. The profiled handle increases rigidity, allowing high force to be transferred to the blade without risk of deformation.

Application of OM LINE OO-OTHOM01 sharp spade
The spade was created to:

  • digging deep pits for planting trees and shrubs,
  • digging and loosening compacted soil,
  • making grooves for installations (such as cables, irrigation hoses),
  • cutting the turf and forming the edges of the lawn,
  • cleaning work in the garden and around the house,
  • paving and construction work, when it is necessary to correct excavations by hand.

Thanks to its sharp, hardened boron steel head, the spade easily enters hard, clay and embankment soils, making work significantly faster and easier.

OM LINE OO-OTHOM01 sharp spade - maximum durability thanks to hardened boron steel

SZPADEL OSTRY OM LINE OO-OTHOM01 – hartowana stal borowa

The most important part of any spade is its head. In the model OM LINE OO-OTHOM01 it is made of hardened boron steel, which is characterized by above-average resistance to wear, abrasion and deformation. Proper hardening ensures the hardness of the working edge, while maintaining its resilience - so the blade does not chip or break on contact with stones or roots.

Three key features of the boron steel head:

  1. High abrasion resistance - even with frequent use and digging in difficult, rocky ground, the blade retains its shape and effectiveness for a long time. This means less frequent sharpening and lower tool operating costs.
  2. Sharp, precise cutting edge - makes it easier to penetrate hard soil, cutting turf and roots. As a result, the user applies less force, which translates into less fatigue during prolonged work.
  3. Corrosion and weather resistance - boron steel with the right finish is more resistant to rusting, so the spade stands up well to storage in damp conditions, under a shed or in an unheated garage.

Examples of daily use:

  • digging up an old, heavily compacted lawn before establishing a new one,
  • digging grooves for garden edging or garden curbs with concrete,
  • cutting turf when creating garden paths from aggregate or paving slabs.

Profiled steel handle - full control and safety when working with OM LINE spade

SZPADEL OSTRY OM LINE OO-OTHOM01 – profilowany trzonek stalowy

Profiled steel handle is another element that distinguishes this model from standard spades. The use of a properly shaped steel tube (profile) increases bending and torsion strength, which is extremely important when working in hard ground or when carrying heavy lumps of earth.

Key features of the profiled steel shaft:

  1. High rigidity and load resistance - The shaft does not bend or twist under pressure, which minimizes the risk of breakage and improves safety at work. You can confidently rest your whole body weight on the spade to break through the compacted soil layer.
  2. Stable connection to the head - solid fusion of the handle with the blade makes the spade stable even after many years of use. No play between head and handle means more precise and comfortable work.
  3. Optimum length and ergonomics - the appropriate length of the handle allows you to work in an upright position, reducing strain on the spine and reducing back fatigue during prolonged work in the garden.

Examples of daily use:

  • digging deeper holes for planting fruit trees and ornamental shrubs,
  • carrying heavy lumps of earth or debris during minor construction work around the house,
  • manually correcting the shape of the excavation for the foundations of small structures such as a gazebo or tool house.

Ergonomic HDPE handle - comfort and secure grip in all conditions

SZPADEL OSTRY OM LINE OO-OTHOM01 – ergonomiczna rękojeść z HDPE

HDPE profiled handle (high-density polyethylene) is an element that directly affects the user's comfort and safety. HDPE plastic is lightweight, yet very mechanically strong and weather resistant.

Three key advantages of the HDPE handle:

  1. Secure grip - profiled "D" type handle adapts to the hand, allowing the spade to be held comfortably even with work gloves. This reduces the risk of the tool slipping out of your hands, especially when working in mud or rain.
  2. Comfort during long-term use - appropriate contouring of the handle reduces pressure points on the hands, which reduces the feeling of fatigue and the risk of corns and abrasions.
  3. Resistance to outdoor conditions - HDPE does not absorb moisture, is resistant to UV radiation and low and high temperatures. Handle does not crack or deform even after long use.

Examples of daily use:

  • work in early spring and late autumn, when the soil is wet and slippery,
  • digging in the rain - the handle retains its grip even with wet hands or gloves,
  • daily work on the plot - from planting the plants, to cleaning up the flower beds, to working on the compost.

OM LINE OO-OTHOM01 spade - versatile use in the garden and on the construction site

SZPADEL OSTRY OM LINE OO-OTHOM01 – zastosowanie w ogrodzie i na budowie

Versatile nature OM LINE SHARP SPADE OO-OTHOM01 makes it a tool that will work well both in the hands of an amateur gardener and a professional gardening or construction team. Robust construction and high-quality materials allow it to be used in a wide variety of earthworks without fear of rapid wear or damage.

Three major application areas:

  1. Garden work - Digging planting holes, digging beds, preparing soil for lawn, shaping beds and flower beds.
  2. Construction and installation work - manual excavation and coring of excavations for foundations, fencing, water, sewer or electrical connections.
  3. Cleanup and reclamation work - Removal of topsoil, turf or weeds, leveling the ground after construction work, preparing the ground for paving stones or patio slabs.

Examples of daily practical application:

  • establishing a new garden next to a freshly built house,
  • making drainage ditches at the driveway and paths,
  • cleaning up the plot after the completion of construction work, when it is necessary to level the land and remove excess soil.
