Tree climbing pants for arborists TREE CLIMBING size. 44 (3155052) - professional protection and comfort for working at height

TREE CLIMBING tree climbing pants for arborists in size 44 (cat. no. 3155052) is a premium professional safety pants, designed specifically for working at height, tree care and felling. They combine high protection against chainsaw cuts, exceptional comfort and the durability expected by professional arborists, chainsaw makers and municipal services.

What are TREE CLIMBING 44 tree climbing pants and what they are for?

TREE CLIMBING tree climbing pants size. 44 is a specialized protective clothing designed for working with a chainsaw while climbing trees. They meet the requirements of EN 381-5:1995, Type A, Class 1 (20 m/s), which means that they provide effective leg protection against accidental contact with a chain moving at speeds up to 20 m/s. It is an indispensable piece of equipment for arborists who work in rope systems, on spikes or from an elevator, often in difficult and unpredictable conditions.

Unlike ordinary work pants, the TREE CLIMBING model is built with several layers of specialized protective fibers (sofIly technology) and durable CORDURA RIPSTOP fabrics, so it protects the thighs and shins from cuts, while providing great flexibility and a snug fit. These pants are a certified PPE of the DPI category cat. 2 according to EN340 and EN 381-5:1995.

Where you "mount" and how you wear protective pants for arborists?

TREE CLIMBING tree climbing pants are worn like standard work pants - directly over the legs, with the option to adjust at the waist with a belt or suspenders. "Assembling" in practice consists of properly sizing, fastening buttons and zippers, and correctly positioning the legs so that the zone of protection covers exactly those parts of the legs that are exposed to the chainsaw.

The pants are designed to work with arborist harnesses, ropes, lunges and other equipment for working at height. The profiled cut of the legs and elastic inserts prevent the fabric from pulling up, and do not restrict movement when climbing a rope, moving over branches or working from a basket lift. Thanks to the numerous loops and pockets, you can easily attach accessories such as dowsing wedges, tape measures, hooks or carabiners to them.

Application of TREE CLIMBING pants size. 44 in daily work

TREE CLIMBING protective pants are designed primarily for:

  • professional arborists and city lumberjacks,
  • tree care and logging companies in urban areas,
  • utility, energy and road services,
  • forestry workers making cuts at height,
  • advanced private users who work with a chainsaw in the treetops, on plots of land and properties.

Examples of everyday situations in which TREE CLIMBING pants will work:

  • pruning the crowns of trees over power lines using a petrol or battery-powered chainsaw,
  • removal of dry and dangerous branches over sidewalks and streets,
  • carrying out tree maintenance in parks, historic gardens and avenues,
  • technical cuts when dismantling large trees using rope techniques,
  • tree felling work on steep slopes, near buildings or structures.

Maximum safety - TREE CLIMBING 44 tree climbing pants meeting EN 381-5 Class 1 standard

A key feature of the pants is certified chainsaw cut protection. Model TREE CLIMBING size. 44 meets the requirements of EN 381-5:1995 Type A Class 1, which means:

  • CE approved in accordance with EN 381-5:1995 and EN 340 - product tested and approved for professional use as a personal protective equipment (DPI cat. 2).
  • Cut protection at 20 m/s chain speed - the standard speed of most professional chainsaws used in arboriculture.
  • Special 5-layer jam protection (sofIly technology) - if the chain comes into contact with the leg, the fibers immediately entangle with the teeth of the saw and stop the chain movement, significantly reducing the risk of serious injury.

In addition, the pants use RIPSTOP fabric, which increases resistance to rips and tears. Even if the material is damaged at a point (e.g., by snagging on a branch or metal part of the harness), the special structure of the mesh reduces further spread of the tear. This directly translates into longer life and user safety.

The protection zone covers 180° of the front of the legs and 5 cm each on the inside of the right and left legs. Such an arrangement protects the sensitive parts of the legs that are most vulnerable to accidental impact of the saw guide during cuts in standing and half-kneeling positions.

Comfort and freedom of movement - ergonomic cut and stretch fabric with triple elastic fiber

An arborist's work requires full mobility - that's why the TREE CLIMBING pants are made of extremely lightweight, breathable stretch fabric with triple stretch fiber. With this:

  • The pants fit perfectly without restricting movement when climbing, descending, walking through branches or leaning over a cut.
  • Elastic panels in key areas allow full range of motion for the hips and knees, which is especially important when working in a rope harness.
  • The breathable structure of the material helps wick away moisture and heat, increasing comfort even during long hours of work on warm days.

In practice, this means that in TREE CLIMBING pants you can freely climb a rope, perform dynamic movements when jumping between branches or work in a sitting position in a harness without feeling pressure in your knees and crotch. The well-shaped belt does not compress, yet holds the pants firmly in place under the hip harness.

Extremely durable materials - CORDURA RIPSTOP and reinforcement of exposed zones

High-quality fiber blends were used to produce the pants:

  • Basic material: 94% polyamide, 6% elastane (CORDURA - RIPSTOP) - guarantees high resistance to abrasion, tearing and mechanical damage while remaining flexible.
  • Black reinforcements: 50% polyamide, 45% polyester, 5% elastane - extra protection in the most abrasion-prone areas, such as the knees, the inside of the calves and the back of the pants.

Such a combination of materials makes the pants withstand intensive use in difficult terrain - contact with bark, branches, climbing equipment or sharp edges. In practice, you can count on a long service life even with daily professional work.

Practical details - pockets, attachments and functionality in the arborist's work

TREE CLIMBING tree climbing pants size. 44 offer a range of details that make daily work easier and faster:

  • Ergonomically arranged pockets - for convenient storage of small tools, wedges, measuring tapes or service keys for the chainsaw.
  • Additional handles and loops - allow you to hook up a hammer, carabiners, lanyards or other accessories so that they are always at hand, while not getting in the way while climbing.
  • Robust fasteners and locks - resistant to dirt and moisture, do not crimp and do not open spontaneously with dynamic movements.

Thanks to such solutions, you reduce the need to reach for additional bags or panniers - everything you need to work on the tree can be carried with you, without the risk of being lost or hindered from maneuvering between branches.

Visibility and safety in all conditions - contrasting colors and reflective elements

The distinctive combination of gray with intense orange improves the visibility of the chainsaw operator in the field - especially between tree branches, in forest thickets or when working near traffic. Combined with reflective elements on the legs, this increases safety and makes it easier for a teammate or lift operator to locate a worker.

Contrasting inserts also help to quickly assess the correct positioning of the harness and lunge against the pants, which is important when inspecting equipment before climbing a tree.
