What is the guide for the GPI 6 OTH-GSKAGP15650 chainsaw and what version it fits into?

The guide bar for the GPI 6 (previous version) OTH-GSKAGP15650 is an original 15 cm (6") long cutting element specifically designed for the older, first-generation GPi6 cordless saw from OM Line. This is the factory component responsible for guiding the cutting chain - on its quality depends the precision, speed and safety of work when cutting branches, firewood or structural elements.

The OTH-GSKAGP15650 model is designed for users who are still using the the old version of the GPi6 chainsaw and need a fully compatible, robust spare or replacement guide. Thanks to the use of the appropriate profile, mounting hole spacing and tensioner slot, the guide is perfectly compatible with the original chain used in this version of the device.

Where the OTH-GSKAGP15650 guide bar is mounted on the GPi6 cordless saw?

The OTH-GSKAGP15650 guide bar is mounted directly in the cutting head of the GPi6 cordless saw (old version). Its installation consists of placing the end of the guide in the drive socket at the sprocket, and then aligning the mounting holes and tensioner slot in the right places so that the chain can be properly tensioned.

The hole spacing, thickness and shape of the bar foot are exactly matched to the design of the previous version of the GPi6 saw. As a result, the user does not need to make any modifications or adjustments - just remove the used guide bar and in its place put a new one, tightening the cover and adjusting the chain tension according to the instructions of the device.

Such a fit translates into:

  • quick and intuitive installation - Even for users who occasionally service tools,
  • stable chain guidance without the risk of slipping or wedging,
  • maintaining full safety at work provided by the saw manufacturer.

Application of guide bar for cordless saw GPi6 (previous version)

Thanks to its working length of 15 cm (6"), the OTH-GSKAGP15650 guide bar is ideal for typical garden, workshop and household work. When installed in the GPi6 saw, it allows precise cutting of wood with a diameter of approx. 60-80 mm, which is more than enough for most tasks in the garden and on the property.

Example applications:

  • Pruning branches of trees and shrubs - Quick shortening of branches, removal of dry and diseased branches, crown shaping of fruit trees.
  • Preparation of firewood - Cutting finer logs, trimming wood to the proper length, preparing kindling.
  • Cleanup work after windstorms - Removal of broken branches, cutting of small trunks and branches lying on the plot.
  • Workshop work and DIY - cutting wooden elements in the construction of pergolas, flowerbeds, fences, small garden structures.

The original guide bar ensures that the chain is properly guided, which is crucial for precision cutting, such as when shaping ornamental trees or when cutting structural components, where an even, clean edge is important.

The main advantages of the OM Line GPi6 15 cm guide (previous version)

  • Original product dedicated - the guide was designed by the manufacturer for a specific model of GPi6 saw (old version), which guarantees full compatibility and safety of use.
  • Optimum length 15 cm (6") - Great compromise between cutting range and handiness of saw; ideal for one-handed operation and maneuvering in dense tree crowns.
  • Solid construction - Rigid, warp-resistant bar foot ensures even load distribution and extends the life of both the bar itself and the cutting chain.
  • Precision and clean cut - proper guidance of the chain links reduces vibration, reduces the risk of jamming in the material and leaves a smoother cutting surface.
  • Hassle-free installation - identical mounting holes and adjustment slots as the factory-installed part on the GPi6 saw allows for quick replacement without specialized tools.

Technical features of the guide bar for OM Line GPi6 OTH-GSKAGP15650 cordless saw

The guide bar, as a key component of the cutting system, must combine light weight with high strength. The OTH-GSKAGP15650 meets these requirements, offering parameters perfectly matched to the power and nature of the old-generation GPi6 compact cordless saw.

Key utility and functional data:

  • Guide length: 15 cm / 6"
  • Purpose: gPi6 cordless saw/cutting machine - previous (old) version
  • Type of parts: original cutting guide for chain
  • Color: bright with black OM Line logo (aesthetically pleasing match to the saw set)
  • Mounting holes and slots: optimized for the factory chain mounting and tensioning system on the GPi6 chainsaw

Thanks to the use of suitable materials and surface treatment, the guide is resistant to abrasion, and the smooth edges of the groove facilitate the smooth running of the chain. This, in turn, translates into less heating of the cutting system and an extended life of the entire kit.

Why choose an original guide bar for the old version of the GPi6 chainsaw?

Users of older equipment often face a dilemma: invest in a new chainsaw or look for replacement parts for their existing, proven equipment. By choosing the original OTH-GSKAGP15650 guide bar, you can breathe new life into your GPi6 saw while maintaining its full functionality and safety without having to buy a new machine.

User benefits:

  • Save - replacing the bar itself is much cheaper than buying a new chainsaw.
  • Safety and compliance - the original part meets the standards and parameters provided by the manufacturer, which is of great importance when working with cutting tools.
  • Extend the life of the device - Regular replacement of worn parts, such as the guide bar and chain, allows you to maintain high working culture of the tool for years.
  • Comfort of use - a well-chosen guide reduces vibration and noise, improves cutting ergonomics and increases precision, which both professionals and amateurs will appreciate.

Examples of daily use of the GPi6 15 cm guide in the home and garden

Thanks to its compact size, the GPi6 saw with OTH-GSKAGP15650 guide bar is an extremely versatile tool that works in many situations you encounter on a daily basis:

  • In the garden: pruning hedges with thick branches, shaping ornamental trees, removing regrowth at the base of trunks, cleaning up shrubs after winter.
  • On a recreational plot: preparing wood for a bonfire, cutting stakes and posts, working on small garden architecture (benches, pergolas, fences).
  • Around the house: cutting boards and squared timber for minor renovations, quick shortening of slats, softwood structural elements.
  • After windstorms and storms: instant removal of broken branches from the roof of sheds, fences or garden paths.

In all these applications, the reliability of the guide bar is crucial, and it must hold the chain exactly in the cutting axis - this is what the original model OTH-GSKAGP15650 provides.
