BAR TIP GREASE GUN OO-SPA1108001 - PROFESSIONAL PROTECTION FOR YOUR CHAINSAW BAR BEARING

What is the OO-SPA1108001 bar tip lubricator and why it is essential when working with a chainsaw?

The OO-SPA1108001 bar end lubricator is a compact, hand-held service tool designed to precisely lubricate the bearing on the chain guide end and, depending on the design of the saw, the clutch drum bearing. This is a special grease gun designed for chainsaws and their guides, allowing the application of thick grease exactly where it is needed most, without spillage and loss of material. ([allegro.en](https://allegro.pl/produkt/smarownica-koncowki-prowadnicy-oleo-mac-oo-spa1108001-c876b729-37d2-42c7-8e3c-4cda03f01e6b?utm_source=openai)) Thanks to the appropriate shape of the tip, the grease gun fits into the lubrication hole of the guide, and the piston grease feeding mechanism allows for convenient, repeatable dispensing. In practice, this means a real extension of the life of the bar, chain and drive components, as well as smoother, safer operation of the saw - both in home and professional applications. Examples of daily use: - periodic lubrication of the guide bar tip in petrol and electric saws used for cutting firewood, - maintenance of guide bars in saws used in gardening companies, sawmills and carpentry shops, - quick re-lubrication of the guide bar tip before a long cut to minimize the risk of seizing the star bearing.

Where to install and how to use the guide tip lubricator OO-SPA1108001?

Lubricator OO-SPA1108001 is not a permanently mounted component on the saw - it is an independent service accessory. It is used manually, applying the tip of the grease gun to the grease hole in the guide bar or clutch drum (if provided by the manufacturer of the saw). Inside the guide bore is a star bearing that requires regular, local lubrication with thick grease. Step-by-step use (generalized, according to the purpose of the tool): 1. Secure the saw - turn off the engine, disconnect the power cord (electric saw) or remove the spark plug wire (petrol saw). 2. Clean the area around the tip of the guide - remove sawdust and dirt from around the lubrication hole so as not to push the dirt into the bearing. 3. Put the tip of the grease gun to the hole in the guide - the grease gun should stick firmly. 4. Gently push the plunger - feed a small amount of grease into the guide end bearing. If necessary, repeat the operation. 5. Remove excess grease on the outside of the guide - wipe it off with a cloth so that it does not attract filings and dirt. Typical places of application for the OO-SPA1108001 grease gun: - the end of a chainsaw guide bar with a star bearing and a lubrication hole, - saw clutch drum bearing (if the design allows lubrication through the service hole), ([allegro.en](https://allegro.pl/produkt/smarownica-koncowki-prowadnicy-oleo-mac-oo-spa1108001-c876b729-37d2-42c7-8e3c-4cda03f01e6b?utm_source=openai)) - other small lubrication points where the tip of the grease gun can be safely applied and compatible grease applied. In practice, the grease nipple is stored in the toolbox or workshop along with other accessories for operating the saw, and is taken out whenever the bar tip needs to be relubricated - for example, after several intensive hours of cutting.

Such a design ensures, on the one hand, adequate mechanical resistance, on the other hand - light weight and convenience of daily use. The tool is resistant to typical bar bearing lubricants, and a simple piston mechanism minimizes the risk of failure. ([allegro.en](https://allegro.pl/produkt/smarownica-koncowki-prowadnicy-oleo-mac-oo-spa1108001-c876b729-37d2-42c7-8e3c-4cda03f01e6b?utm_source=openai)) Key Features: - **Lightweight, handy design** - ideal for field, workshop and home garage use. - **Precise grease application** - the tip, which is matched to the lubrication holes in chainsaw guides, allows the grease to be pressed precisely into the bearing zone. - **Easy fill** - can use standard grease for guide bearings and clutch drums. - **Universality** - suitable for many models of saws and guides equipped with lubrication holes. FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions about OO-SPA1108001 bar tip lubricator

Question 1: What exactly is the lubricator OO-SPA1108001 used for??
Answer: Lubricator OO-SPA1108001 is used to lubricate the bearing on the end of the chain guide and, on many models of chainsaws, to lubricate the clutch drum bearing. Thanks to the precise application of the lubricant, it protects these components from overheating, seizure and excessive wear, which directly extends the life of the guide bar and the entire cutting system.

Question 2: Can the lubricator be used on all chainsaws?
Answer: The lubricator is universal in the sense that it fits guides equipped with a lubricating hole on the tip. If your guide has such a hole, you can use the OO-SPA1108001 grease gun to lubricate the bearing periodically. However, it's always a good idea to check your saw's manual and the bar manufacturer's recommendations for the type of lubricant and frequency of service.

Question 3: How often should the guide tip be lubricated?
Answer: The frequency of lubrication depends on the intensity of use of the saw and the type of material being cut. For typical garden work, it is a good idea to check the condition of the bar tip every few hours of work and give a fresh dose of grease if necessary. In professional applications, with intensive cutting, lubrication may be necessary even several times a day.

Question 4: What grease to use in lubricator OO-SPA1108001?
Answer: It is recommended to use dense lubricants dedicated to guide rod end bearings and clutch drums of chainsaws. The type of lubricant should be in accordance with the guidelines of the manufacturer of the saw or bar. Most often these are high-temperature lubricants with good anti-wear properties.

Question 5: Does the operation of the lubricator require special skills?
Answer: No, the OO-SPA1108001 lubricator is designed as a simple, intuitive hand tool. All you need to do is familiarize yourself with the basic principle of operation - apply the tip to the lubrication hole and gently depress the plunger - to safely and effectively lubricate the tip of the guide bar. The only key thing is to follow the safety rules when operating the chainsaw (shutdown, protection against accidental starting) and to keep the area around the lubrication point clean.

Question 6: What are the main benefits of buying this lubricator for your store or service center?
Answer: For stores and chainsaw service stores, the OO-SPA1108001 grease gun is a complementary product with high utility value. Raises the level of after-sales service, allows you to offer the customer a complete consumable package for the saw and reduces the risk of complaints related to premature wear of the guides. For the end user, this means real savings - less frequently replaced guides, fewer breakdowns and safer operation of the machine.
