What is the Oleo-Mac OO-OTHSIEOST axe and knife sharpener?
Oleo-Mac OO-OTHSIEOST axe and knife sharpener is a compact, hand-held device designed for fast and precise sharpening of cutting tools used in the home, garden and workshop. Thanks to its specially shaped body and high-quality grinding wheel, it allows you to restore the perfect sharpness of axes, kitchen knives, gardening knives, cleavers or camping knives in just a few strokes.
The device was created by the renowned Oleo-Mac brand, which specializes in gardening and forestry equipment. This means that the sharpener was created for intensive use and demanding customers - both amateurs and professionals. Tools used for chopping wood, gardening or carpentry work get dull very quickly. The OO-OTHSIEOST sharpener allows you to easily restore them to full working order without the need for service or advanced grinders.
The most important part of the device is a grinding wheel made of a specially selected silicon compound, created for very demanding applications. As a result, the sharpener effectively handles both mild and hardened steel, allowing you to refresh blades with different profiles and angles. Combined with the well-thought-out design of the body, the user gets a tool that combines efficiency, safety and convenience of work.

Where to mount and how to use the Oleo-Mac OO-OTHSIEOST sharpener?
Oleo-Mac OO-OTHSIEOST sharpener is a free-standing device that does not require permanent mounting to a table or wall. Thanks to its design in the form of a stable bridge with rubberized feet, all you need to do is set it on a flat, hard working surface - a work surface, a table in the workshop, a bench in the garage or a sturdy garden table. Rubber feet provide excellent grip on the ground, minimize slippage and vibration during sharpening, resulting in safety and precision.
To start sharpening, set the tool blade in the grinding wheel guide and pull it several times in one smooth motion, maintaining the correct angle, which is imposed by the design of the sharpener. The handle is contoured so that the hand is at a safe distance from the cutting edge, reducing the risk of injury even for less experienced users. When finished, the sharpener can be stored in a drawer, on a shelf or hung in the workshop - its slim design takes up minimal space.
Examples of where the sharpener is used:
- in the home kitchen - for regular sharpening of kitchen knives, bread knives, meat knives or cleavers,
- in the garage or workshop - for sharpening axes, carpenter's knives, plastic cutters,
- in the household and agricultural - to keep wood chopping axes, meat cutting knives, tools for household work sharp,
- on the allotment or in the summer house - as a handy tool for quick sharpening of an axe for splitting logs or a camping knife.

Oleo-Mac OO-OTHSIEOST sharpener - durable polycarbonate and silicon compound construction
One of the most important features of the Oleo-Mac OO-OTHSIEOST axe and knife sharpener is its rugged, durable design. The body of the device is made of durable, impact-resistant polycarbonate. Polycarbonate is a plastic with very high mechanical resistance and impact strength, which makes the sharpener withstand accidental falls on hard surfaces, tool impacts or intensive use in demanding workshop conditions.
The grinding element - the grinding wheel - is made of a specially selected silicon compound, designed for very demanding applications. Such a solution ensures high cutting efficiency of the material from the cutting edge and, at the same time, adequate durability of the grinding wheel itself. In practice, this means that the sharpener maintains its properties for a long time, does not require frequent replacement of abrasive elements and guarantees a repeatable sharpening effect.
In daily use, you will appreciate above all:
- resistance of the device to damage during work in the garage or on construction sites,
- stable sharpening performance whether you are sharpening an axe for chopping thick logs or a delicate kitchen knife,
- the possibility of long-term use without loss of efficiency, which translates into real savings - you do not need to buy new tools, just sharpen them regularly.

Ergonomic shape and secure grip - everyday comfort
Oleo-Mac OO-OTHSIEOST axe and knife sharpener is designed for maximum user comfort. The ergonomic shape of the body and handle guarantees a secure, comfortable and safe grip, which is crucial when working with sharp tools. Properly contoured finger surfaces reduce hand fatigue during longer sharpening sessions, while allowing close control of blade pressure and guidance.
Rubberized base keeps the sharpener from sliding around on the countertop, even when you press a heavy axe or cleaver against it. This is especially important for those who do not have much experience in sharpening - a stable tool minimizes the risk of slipping, accidentally cutting too much material or damaging the blade.
In practice, ergonomic design means:
- safe sharpening of axes used for chopping firewood - the tool does not "escape" from your hand,
- conveniently sharpen kitchen knives before preparing meat, vegetables or bread,
- comfort for frequent sharpening of gardening knives, shears and chisels, for example during the gardening season or intensive workshop work.
Application of Oleo-Mac OO-OTHSIEOST axe and knife sharpener
Thanks to its versatile design, the Oleo-Mac OO-OTHSIEOST sharpener is widely used in a variety of environments - from the home kitchen to the home garden to carpentry workshops, farms or small landscaping service companies. The device is ideal for people who use multiple cutting tools and expect a simple way to keep them in full working order.

- In the kitchen: regular sharpening of kitchen knives, cleavers, knives for filleting fish or portioning meat. Sharp knives improve cooking comfort, increase cutting precision and reduce the risk of the blade slipping off the product.
