Where the ASC 55 CAS charger (FOR DURO18V) is mounted and how to use it?

ASC 55 CAS charger (FOR DURO18V) OO-OTHH448848 is a desktop charger. It is most often set up in the service room, utility room, technical storage or in the company garage, that is, wherever the Starmix DuroSweep 77 Pro 18V sweeper and batteries are stored on a daily basis. Stable design and compact size allow you to place it on a shelf, workbench or special battery charging station.

Using the charger is extremely easy - just plug it into a standard 230-volt power outlet, and then slide the battery into the charging slot until it snaps into place sensibly. The electronics automatically recognizes the type of cells, controls the temperature and charging current, and when the process is complete, goes into a holding mode, so the battery is always fully charged but not overcharged.

In practice, this means that a worker can simply place the battery in the charger at the end of a shift and be sure that the next day the equipment will be ready for intensive work from the first minute.

Application of the ASC 55 CAS charger for the Starmix DuroSweep 77 Pro 18V sweeper

The main use of the ASC 55 CAS charger is to quickly and safely charge the lithium-ion batteries that power the Starmix DuroSweep 77 Pro 18V sweeper (Haaga). Thanks to a high charging current of 8 A and optimized Li-Ion charging characteristics, the batteries reach full capacity in a short period of time, which is crucial in professional applications where cleaning equipment operates in multi-shift mode.

The charger will work well:

  • in cleaning companies serving shopping malls, underground parking lots and large-scale facilities,
  • in warehouse and logistics halls, where the DURO 18V sweeper keeps traffic routes clean,
  • in industrial and manufacturing plants where it is necessary to regularly remove dust, sawdust, pellets or other contaminants,
  • in public facilities - schools, hospitals, sports facilities,
  • in construction companies taking care of cleanliness on the project site and around buildings.

Thanks to the stable and reliable operation of the ASC 55 CAS charger, the entire cleaning system based on the DuroSweep 77 Pro 18V sweeper gains greater efficiency, less downtime and lower operating costs - the batteries are properly treated, which extends their service life.

ASC 55 CAS charger for DURO18V - fast charging and optimal operation with Li-Ion battery pack

The heart of the power system of the rechargeable sweeper is a Li-Ion battery and a properly matched charger. In this case, the ASC 55 CAS charger is designed to work with a Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 4.0 Ah and an operating voltage of 56 V. Such a set provides an ideal compromise between the power of the device, working time and the weight of the whole set.

It takes about 45 minutes to fully charge the battery from zero to 100%. This means that during a short break, lunch break, or operator change, the equipment can be prepared for the next full cleaning cycle. The charging current of 8 A has been selected to maximize charging while not shortening the life of the cells.

In practice:

  • with two batteries, you can organize non-stop sweeper operation by charging one battery while the other is running,
  • in facilities with variable cleaning intensity (e.g., shopping malls during peak hours), the charger allows you to flexibly adjust the charging time to your work schedule,
  • in service companies, reduced downtime means the ability to complete more orders at the same time.

The comfort and mobility of the Starmix DuroSweep 77 Pro 18V charging system (Haaga)

The ASC 55 CAS loader weighs just 551 g, making it lightweight and easy to move between service bays or facilities. It can easily be taken to the service vehicle and charge the batteries both at the company's base and directly at the customer's site, where the DURO 18V sweeper works. Small size makes it easy to organize the charging area even in small utility rooms.

Practice shows that operators very quickly appreciate the simplicity and ergonomics of the ASC 55 CAS charger - intuitive battery insertion, clear indication of the charging status, and the absence of complicated service steps. It's a plug-and-charge device that is supposed to work reliably every day.

Professional power system - the battery, power and performance of the DuroSweep 77 Pro 18V sweeper

The ASC 55 CAS charger is part of a complete professional power system that includes a 4.0 Ah/56 V Li-Ion battery, a powerful sweeper induction motor and optimized power control electronics. The parameters of the entire system translate directly into the efficiency of the device's operation, so a properly selected charger is crucial for daily operation.

The use of a 4.0 Ah battery allows an operating time of 17 to 30 minutes on a single charge - depending on the mode and load. The maximum speed of the airstream is 48 m/s, and in BOOST mode it is as high as 55 m/s. The user has three levels of speed control and an additional BOOST function, which allows to match the power of the device to the type of dirt.

Operating capacity reaches up to 750 m³/h, and up to 850 m³/h in BOOST mode. This means that large areas can be effectively cleaned in a short period of time: maneuvering areas, parking lots, hall passageways or courtyards around buildings. The ASC 55 CAS charger ensures that the battery that powers such a powerful device is always in optimal condition.
