Cutting chain for 1.3 mm 3/8" hobby chainsaw 55 guide links OO-ACCV91VG55 is a high-quality chain dedicated to light and medium-sized petrol and electric chainsaws, ideal for home, household and semi-professional applications. The use of half chisel type teeth and connecting links with an anti-kickback protrusion guarantees efficient, yet comfortable and safer cutting of wood.

What is the cutting chain OO-ACCV91VG55?
This is the working element of the saw responsible for the actual cutting of the wood. The chain is built from a set of cutting, guiding and connecting links that move along the guide at high speed, precisely cutting through the material. Model Victus 91VG with a thickness of 1.3 mm and a 3/8" hobby pitch, it is designed to provide smooth operation, good tool control and a long service life.

Where the 1.3 mm 3/8" 55 link cutting chain is mounted?
The chain is mounted on the the guide bar of the saw, on the drive wheel and tensioner. It is designed for saws whose technical parameters correspond to: the 3/8" pitch of the hobby, the width of the guide groove of 1.3 mm and the length of 55 guide links. Fits many popular models of garden and home chainsaws - just compare these parameters with the data of the device or the chain used so far before buying.

Victus 91VG OO-ACCV91VG55 cutting chain - maximum cutting efficiency for home and garden work

Cutting chain Victus 91VG OO-ACCV91VG55 has been designed for users who expect their saw to be reliable and fast cutting, without the need for frequent chain replacement or sharpening. The use of heavy-duty steel alloys and the careful processing of the components ensure that the chain remains sharp for a long time, even with more intensive use.

In everyday terms, this means that you can prepare wood for the winter, cut beams for the gazebo or trim trees in the orchard in a short period of time, without the tedious "jerking" of a chainsaw and the need to take frequent sharpening breaks. Thanks to the properly matched 3/8" pitch, the hobby chain runs smoothly and works well on smaller horsepower saws typically used by home and do-it-yourself users.

Examples of daily use:

  • quickly shorten the stack of firewood blocks before the heating season,
  • cutting boards and scantlings when building a carport or wooden shed,
  • work on the care of ornamental and fruit trees on the plot.

Precision half chisel teeth - comfortable operation and clean cutting without excessive vibration

Semi-chisel type cutting teeth are one of the key strengths of the OO-ACCV91VG55 chain. Compared to a full chisel, they are more resistant to dulling when dirty in the wood (sand, bark, soil residue), and at the same time work very well in typical household work. They provide a compromise between aggressiveness and ease of handling, which both experienced users and those just starting out with a chainsaw will appreciate.

This type of tooth geometry generates clean cuts with less jaggedness, which is important not only for cutting fuel, but also for construction work where aesthetics and accuracy matter. The guidance of the saw is more stable, making it easier to make even cuts at the right angle.

Examples of the daily use of the teeth of the half chisel:

  • precise cutting of rafters or roof battens during repair work,
  • cutting thick branches without the risk of "jerking" the wood and blocking the chain,
  • shaping of trunks and branches for evenly sized logs for a fireplace or stove.

Safety in operation - links with anti-reflection projection and 55 guide links

Cutting chain for chainsaw OO-ACCV91VG55 has been equipped with connecting links with anti-reflection projection. Their task is to reduce the phenomenon of so-called "kickback" (kickback), which occurs when the upper part of the tip of the guide suddenly comes into contact with a hard obstacle. Thanks to the special shape of the links, the chain bites more gently into the wood, which significantly increases the safety of the user and improves the comfort of work.

55 guide links forms a stable, evenly tensioned loop on the guide. Properly selected length allows the chain to run securely and adhere properly to the bar, minimizing the risk of chain slippage or overstretching.

In practice, this means:

  • less risk of a sudden jerk of the saw towards the operator,
  • greater control of the tool, especially when cutting the ends of logs or when working overhead,
  • safer use by less experienced people, while following basic health and safety rules.

Perfect fit - 3/8" hobby pitch and 1.3 mm width for popular saws

Parameters 3/8" hobby scales and groove width 1.3 mm make the OO-ACCV91VG55 chain compatible with a wide range of chainsaws for home and semi-professional users. This is a standard found in popular garden equipment, so the chain can successfully replace the original chains of many manufacturers.

Choosing a chain with the right pitch and thickness is a guarantee of smooth operation:

  • less strain on the saw's engine - especially important in less powerful saws,
  • lower consumption of fuel or electricity,
  • quieter operation and less vibration, which translates into user comfort.

Examples of practical applications:

  • replacing the old, stretched chain in garden saws with a new, more efficient model,
  • accessory equipment for companies engaged in the care of urban or neighborhood greenery,
  • a spare chain in the workshop of a DIYer who often works with wood.

Durability and easy maintenance of the 1.3 mm 3/8" Victus 91VG cutting chain

The cutting chain is made of durable, hardened steel parts, which translates into long service life and wear resistance. When used properly - using the right oil to lubricate the chain, maintaining proper tension, and sharpening regularly - the chain can last for many seasons.

Chain maintenance is easy and doable in-house:

  • sharpening with a file of the appropriate diameter or sharpening guides,
  • cleaning after work from residual sawdust and resin,
  • storage in a dry place, preferably in the original packaging.

For the user, this means lower operating costs of the chainsaw - Instead of frequent replacement of the entire accessory, it is enough to take care of regular sharpening and lubrication, which extends the period of trouble-free use of the chain.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about 1.3 mm 3/8" hobby 55 link saw chain OO-ACCV91VG55

1. For which chainsaws the chain OO-ACCV91VG55 fits?
The chain fits chainsaws whose guides have a 3/8" hobby pitch, a groove width of 1.3 mm and require a 55-link guide chain. You can find this information in the saw's manual or on the guide itself.

2. Is the chain suitable for professional forestry work?
Model OO-ACCV91VG55 is mainly designed for home, garden and semi-professional applications. It will be perfect for cutting firewood, cleaning and light construction work. For intensive forestry work, chains with different characteristics are usually used.

3. How often should this chain be sharpened?
The frequency of sharpening depends on the intensity of use and the type of wood being cut. If you notice a decrease in cutting performance, the formation of fine dust instead of chips, or more pressure needed to guide the saw, this is a signal that the chain needs sharpening. For typical home use, sharpening after a few major work sessions is usually sufficient.

4. Does the chain have protection against kickback?
Yes. The chain is equipped with connecting links with an anti-kickback protrusion, which help reduce kickback and increase user safety. Remember, however, that this does not replace the need for proper work technique and personal protective equipment.

5. How to check if my current chain has the same parameters?
The guide bar of a saw usually has information stamped on it about the pitch, groove width and recommended number of guide links. You can also count the guide links of the existing chain and check the markings on its links. If the values coincide with the parameters of 3/8" hobby, 1.3 mm and 55 links, the model OO-ACCV91VG55 will be suitable.

6. Can the chain be used to cut wet wood?
Yes, the chain can work in both dry and wet wood. However, you need to remember to properly lubricate with chain oil and thoroughly clean the chain and bar after use to remove moisture, sawdust and resin.

7. What is the difference between a half chisel tooth and a full chisel tooth?
The full chisel tooth is more aggressive and cuts faster, but is also more sensitive to dirty wood. The half chisel tooth used in this chain offers very good cutting performance with greater resistance to dulling and easier saw control. It's ideal for home and garden work.

8. How to properly tension the OO-ACCV91VG55 chain?
After putting the chain on the bar and sprocket, adjust the tensioner so that the chain fits tightly against the bar, but still can be pulled slightly away from it to a height of one-two links. A chain that is too loose can fall off the bar, and one that is too tight accelerates wear on both the chain and the bar.
