FAQ - Frequently asked questions about 1.3 mm 3/8" Hobby 56 link cutting chain OO-ACCV91NP56

1. How to check if the OO-ACCV91NP56 chain fits my chainsaw?

In order to choose the right chain, check three parameters in the manual or on the bar markings: pitch (3/8" hobby), groove thickness (1.3 mm) and number of guide links (56). If all values match - the string will match.

2. What jobs is this chain best suited for?

The Victus 91NP chain is designed primarily for garden, home and light forestry work. It will be ideal for cutting firewood, trimming branches, tidying up the plot or preparing structural timber components.

3. How often should the cutting chain be sharpened?

Sharpening frequency depends on the intensity of use and the type of material being cut. For typical household work, it is recommended short sharpening after every 2-3 refueling of the saw or more often if you notice a decrease in cutting performance (need to press down on the saw, fine dust instead of chips).

4. What is the difference between a half chisel tooth and a full chisel tooth?

Half chisel tooth has a rounded cutting edge shape. Compared to a full chisel, it is easier to sharpen, more resistant to dirt and sand in wood and less susceptible to damage. This makes it ideal for hobby users and variable conditions.

5. How to take care of a chain to make it last as long as possible?

The most important rules are: proper chain tension, regular lubrication, avoiding contact with soil and stones, sharpening regularly and storing the chain in a dry place. By following these recommendations, you will significantly extend the life of the chain and the entire chainsaw.

6. Can the chain be used on any 3/8" hobby bar?

Yes, provided that the guide has a groove width of 1.3 mm and the stipulated number of 56 guide links. For guides with different lengths or different groove, choose a matching chain accordingly.
