What is the cutting chain for 1.3 mm 3/8" Hobby chainsaw 50 guide links OO-ACCV91ML50?

1.3 mm 3/8" Hobby 50 guide link cutting chain OO-ACCV91ML50 is a high quality working accessory for petrol and electric chainsaws, compatible with models using pitch 3/8" hobby and a guide groove with a width of 1.3 mm. This is a precision-made cutting chain of the brand Victus, designed for home users, professional gardeners and service crews who want clean, fast and repeatable cutting with a high level of safety.

Where does the Victus 91ML 1.3 mm 3/8" Hobby 50 link cutting chain mount?

The OO-ACCV91ML50 cutting chain mounts as standard on the the guide bar of the saw, in a 1.3 mm wide groove and on a 3/8" pitch hobby drive wheel. It fits many popular brands of garden saws that use lightweight cutting kits. Before you buy, it's a good idea to check the three basic parameters of your chainsaw: chain pitch, bar groove width and number of guide links - this model has 50.

Installation of the chain is simple and can be done by yourself, using the instructions of the chainsaw. After installing the chain, it is necessary to adjust its tension properly, so that the guide links are firmly held in the groove of the guide bar, and at the same time it is possible to move the chain smoothly around the perimeter. Such correct installation not only ensures comfortable operation, but also extends the life of both the chain and the entire chainsaw.

The chain is used in:

  • garden and amateur petrol chainsaws,
  • electric and cordless saws with compatible bar parameters,
  • chainsaws used in households, gardens, recreational plots or small service companies.

Victus 91ML 1.3 mm cutting chain - precise cutting thanks to full chisel teeth

The biggest advantage of the Victus 91ML chain is its full chisel type cutting teeth. This type of tooth is distinguished by a sharp, straight edge that bites aggressively into the wood, providing an extremely fast and clean cut. This makes the chain ideal for situations where speed of work and high efficiency are important.

In practice, this means that when preparing firewood for winter, when cutting thick branches or shortening logs to specific dimensions, the user experiences less strain on the saw while achieving even, smooth cutting surfaces. Solid chisel teeth perform well in soft and medium-hard wood, and with proper maintenance, they stay sharp for a long time.

Examples of applications in daily work:

  • Preparation of firewood - quick sawing of logs into smaller sections, which significantly reduces work time before the heating season.
  • Cleaning up the plot after the storms - Efficient cutting of fallen branches, branches and trees, without the need to repeatedly pass the chainsaw in the same place.
  • Garden maintenance work - Tree shaping, pruning of older branches and cutting back of volunteer trees.

Safety at work - guide links with anti-reflection projection

The OO-ACCV91ML50 cutting chain is equipped with the following guide links with anti-knockout protrusion, which significantly reduce the risk of dangerous kickback of the saw (so-called kickback). This is especially important when working on awkward, hard-to-reach cuts where the tip of the guide may come into contact with the wood.

By using anti-kickback projections, the chain better "bites" into the material, reducing violent jerks and improving the stability of the saw's handling. The user gains more control over the tool, which translates into greater comfort and safety, whether in the hands of an experienced operator or a less advanced do-it-yourselfer.

Practical benefits:

  • Safer cutting overhead - For example, when removing higher branches and boughs.
  • Greater control when cutting with the guide tip - For example, when pruning roots or small volunteer trees.
  • Less operator fatigue - no sudden jerks allows you to work longer and more comfortably with one saw.

Durability and reliability of 1.3 mm 3/8" Hobby Victus 91ML chainsaw chain OO-ACCV91ML50

Victus 91ML cutting chain is made of high-grade steel, and the individual links are properly hardened for high resistance to mechanical wear. With proper operation - regular lubrication, proper tension and periodic sharpening - the chain retains its parameters for a long time, even with frequent operation.

The sturdy link design protects the chain from stretching and deformation, which is especially important for heavy use in households, small forestry companies or woodworking service outlets. It's an investment that pays off in the form of less downtime and less frequent need to replace accessories.

Examples of situations in which you will appreciate the durability of the chain:

  • Many hours cutting firewood - The chain maintains sharpness and stability, reducing the time needed for service breaks.
  • Regular gardening work - cutting dry and live branches, shrubs or smaller trunks without a noticeable drop in cut quality.
  • Work under changing conditions - In the woods, on the plot of land, in humid or dry environments where equipment reliability is required.

FAQ - frequently asked questions

1. Which chainsaws the 1.3 mm 3/8" Hobby 50 link chain OO-ACCV91ML50 fits to?

The chain fits chainsaws whose guide bar has a groove with a width of 1.3 mm, and the drive wheel is adapted to the 3/8" hobby pitch. In addition, the guide should work with a chain of 50 guide links. You can find this information in the manual of your chainsaw or on the bar itself.

2. What is the difference between full chisel teeth and half chisel teeth?

Teeth full chisel have a straight, sharp edge that enters the wood very aggressively, providing a fast and clean cut. Compared to half-chisel teeth, they are more efficient, especially when cutting along the grain, but they also require more accurate sharpening and cleaner material (less dirt, sand).

3. How often should the Victus 91ML chain be sharpened?

Sharpening frequency depends on the intensity of use and the type of material being cut. For typical household work, it is recommended to sharpen slightly after each long day's work or when you notice a decrease in cutting performance (need to press the saw, fine dust instead of chips). Regular sharpening significantly extends the life of the chain.

4. Does the chain have safety features to increase operating safety?

Yes, the chain is equipped with guide links with anti-knockout protrusion, which help to reduce the phenomenon of chainsaw kickback. This increases user safety, especially when cutting with the tip of the guide or in more difficult working positions.

5. How to properly take care of a cutting chain to make it last as long as possible?

The basis is regular lubrication (the saw should have a working oil system), proper chain tension and systematic sharpening. Avoid contact of the chain with the ground, rocks or metal elements, as this causes rapid blunting of the teeth. When you're done, it's a good idea to clean the chain and bar of sawdust and resin.

6. Is this chain suitable for working with harder woods?

Yes, with its full chisel type teeth, the chain can handle harder woods well, provided it is properly sharpened and lubricated. If you work very hard in hard wood, you should check the sharpness of the teeth and the condition of the guide links more often.

7. Can I replace the chain in my saw myself?

Yes, replacing the chain is a service activity that most users can do themselves, following the the chainsaw's instruction manual. Simply remove the saw's side cover, loosen the bar, put a new chain on the drive sprocket and bar, and then properly adjust the chain tension.
