4.0 MM ROUND CHAIN SHARPENING FILES, 12 PCS OO-ACCV40000 - PROFESSIONAL SET FOR RENEWAL OF ANY CHAIN

Round chain sharpening files 4.0 mm, 12 pcs OO-ACCV40000 is a complete set of high-quality hand files created specifically for precision sharpening of the cutting teeth of chains of petrol and electric saws. With a diameter of 4.0 mm, they are a perfect match for popular chains with finer tooth geometry, allowing them to quickly restore full sharpness and cutting performance. The set of 12 pieces guarantees long-lasting use both in a home workshop and in a professional forestry or gardening service.

What is a set of round chain files 4.0 mm OO-ACCV40000?

4.0 MM, 12 Pcs OO-ACCV40000 round chain sharpening file is a specialized hand tool, made of hard, hardened tool steel, which is designed to accurately form and renew the cutting edges of chain links. The round cross-section with a diameter of 4.0 mm allows you to guide the file confidently in the gouge of the tooth without damaging its geometry and without abrading too much material.

Each file has a uniform grain structure and an evenly cut tooth for smooth metal cutting without burrs. This makes sharpening fast, comfortable and repeatable, and once sharpened, the chain cuts wood evenly and without jerking.

Where and how to mount 4.0 mm round chain files?

Round files OO-ACCV40000 are designed for manual sharpening, so they are primarily installed in:

  • chain file holders - wooden or plastic, providing a comfortable grip and the right angle of guidance,
  • sharpening guides/frames - which stabilize the file on the tooth and maintain the recommended sharpening angle (usually 25-35°),
  • simple vices and service grips - in workshops, service shops and forestry companies.

The installation process itself is very simple - the file is inserted into the hole of the handle or guide, secured with a clamp, and then guided along the cutting tooth from the inside out. With a standard diameter of 4.0 mm, the tool fits most popular service guide systems on the market.

Application of Round Chain Sharpening Files 4.0 MM, 12 Pcs OO-ACCV40000

The 4.0 mm file set is used wherever you work with a chainsaw or other tools equipped with a cutting chain. This is essential equipment:

  • In the garden and home workshop - Regular sharpening of the chain when cutting trees, trimming firewood or cutting boards.
  • In forestry and service companies - intensive chainsaw operation requires frequent and precise chain sharpening directly in the field.
  • In orchards and farms - Care of orchards, removal of dry branches, preparation of firewood.
  • In carpentry and joinery shops - Quickly refresh the chain on the construction site, when cutting structural elements.

Thanks to the fact that there are as many as 12 pieces in the package, the files are perfect for both the individual user and companies where several employees use the tool. Even with heavy use, the supply of files lasts for a very long time.

Key user benefits - quality, durability and reliability

When you choose the 4.0 mm round chain files OO-ACCV40000, you are investing in a tool that realistically increases the comfort and safety of working with a chainsaw:

  • Higher cutting efficiency - sharp chain requires less pressure, the saw does not "get tired" and the engine runs lighter. As a result, you cut through even thick logs faster and save fuel or electricity.
  • Security - Dull chain slips on wood and is more likely to cause recoil. Regular sharpening with 4.0 mm files reduces this phenomenon and allows you to maintain full control of the machine.
  • Saving money - Instead of buying new chains, you can easily extend the life of the cutting set you are currently using. The file is a small cost that quickly pays for itself.

For example: during seasonal firewood preparation, you sharpen the chain every few tanks of fuel. A set of 12 files will get you through the entire season with a sharp chain, using only one or two files from the packet.

OO-ACCV40000 circular file - compatibility with popular cutting sets

The 4.0 mm files are particularly recommended for finer-toothed chains, used m.in. in hobby, garden and light professional chainsaws. They work perfectly with popular chainsaw bars and chains:

Chainsaw bar and chain set:

  • Length 14"
  • 3/8" hobby pitch
  • Chain groove width 1.3 mm
  • Tip with 9 teeth fixed with 4 rivets
  • Chain 91NP 50 links, semi-cut teeth
  • Guide links with anti-reflection projection

This type of configuration (14", 3/8" hobby, 1.3 mm) is commonly found on backyard chain saws and smaller petrol saws, so the OO-ACCV40000 files will be an ideal addition to the cutting set used by most home users and small service companies.

Professional ergonomics - comfortable sharpening even in the field

The set of 12 4.0 mm round files is designed to allow convenient sharpening in any conditions - in the workshop, in the forest, on the construction site or in the orchard. The slim shape and appropriate length of the files ensure:

  • easy guidance on the chain tooth - Without locking in the links,
  • control over the sharpening angle - especially with simple guides and handles,
  • possibility to work with protective gloves - The file's diameter and standard handle allow for a secure grip even with thick work gloves.

For example, during a day's work in the woods, you can quickly sharpen the chain every few hours by making a few file strokes on each tooth. It takes just a few minutes and significantly increases cutting efficiency and reduces fatigue for the saw operator.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about 4.0 mm round chain files OO-ACCV40000

Question 1: For which chains do 4.0 mm round files fit?
The 4.0mm files are designed for finer-toothed chains often found on garden and hobby saws, including popular kits with a 14" bar, 3/8" hobby pitch and 1.3mm groove width. Before using, it's a good idea to check the recommended file diameter in the chain or saw instructions.

Question 2: How often should the chain be sharpened with a file?
It is recommended to slightly sharpen the chain every few tanks of fuel or whenever you notice a decrease in the quality of the cut (dust instead of chips, the need for stronger pressure, smoke). Regular, gentle sharpening is much more beneficial than infrequent but very intense tooth grinding.

Question 3: Do you need special guides to use files?
It is not necessary, but very helpful. You can sharpen the chain "by hand", but a straight guide or handle makes it significantly easier to maintain the correct sharpening angle and ensure even operation on all teeth.

Question 4: How long does one file last?
The life of one file depends on the intensity of work, the hardness of the chain and the frequency of sharpening. For typical home use, one file can last for several full chain sharpening cycles. A set of 12 pieces provides a supply for many seasons.

Question 5: Are files suitable for beginner chainsaw users?
Yes. Round files 4.0 mm OO-ACCV40000 are very easy to use. Beginners are advised to use simple file guides, which make it easier to maintain the correct sharpening angle and quickly learn the correct technique.

Question 6: Can files be used for tools other than the chainsaw chain?
Files are mainly designed for sharpening chain teeth. In exceptional situations, they can be used for delicate corrective work on other metal parts, but they provide full efficiency and service life primarily when used as intended - for chainsaw chains.
