Where the 160SDEA041 OO-ACCV160SDEA041 guide bar is installed and with which saws it works with?

Guide bar 160SDEA041 OO-ACCV160SDEA041 is mounted directly in the body of the chain saw - between the chain sprocket and the clutch cover. Its task is to guide the chain along a predetermined trajectory, so it must be perfectly matched to the parameters of the device: length, chain pitch and width of its links. The model presented here is designed for saws that use a chain with a 3/8" hobby pitch and a drive link thickness of 1.3 mm, which is standard on many popular home and garden saws.

A typical application of this guide is installation in saws used for:

  • preparation of firewood in the household,
  • pruning branches and branches of trees in the garden or orchard,
  • cleanup work after storms and windstorms,
  • light carpentry and joinery work in the construction of sheds, gazebos or fences.

Thanks to its universal parameters and standard mounting method, the 160SDEA041 OO-ACCV160SDEA041 guide bar can be used on many models of chainsaws on the market that meet the above chain requirements. Before purchasing, it is recommended to check in the documentation of the saw or on the previously used guide bar the compatibility of the pitch and width of the groove.

Chain saw guide 160SDEA041 OO-ACCV160SDEA041 - key features, durability and reliability in daily use

The greatest advantage of the 160SDEA041 OO-ACCV160SDEA041 guide is its balanced combination of durability, precision and comfort at work. The length of 16 inches (about 40 cm) provides versatility of use - on the one hand it allows free cutting of thicker logs, on the other hand it remains handy and easy to maneuver even for less experienced users. It's a compromise between cutting range and safety.

The 3/8" hobby chain pitch guarantees a smooth, clean cut while reducing vibration and kickback, which is especially important for users who do not work with a chainsaw on a daily basis. The 1.3mm groove width is the standard for light and medium saws, providing an optimal balance between link strength and low resistance to movement. This puts less strain on the chainsaw engine and reduces fuel or electricity consumption.

Another important feature of the guide is the tip with 7 teeth attached by a single rivet. This design improves the smoothness of the chain on the bar face, reduces friction, the risk of overheating and extends the life of both the chain and the bar itself. In practice, this means less frequent replacement of accessories and stable cutting parameters for a long time.

In day-to-day use, the user will experience the benefits of faster and easier firewood cutting, more confident guidance of the saw for precision work in the garden, and less hand fatigue due to reduced vibration. The robustness of the guide also reduces the risk of deformation, which is important for intensive use.

Precision cutting and work safety - applications of the 160SDEA041 OO-ACCV160SDEA041 guide in the home, garden and allotment

The 160SDEA041 OO-ACCV160SDEA041 guide is designed for users who expect not only durability, but also high precision cutting. Thanks to its well-chosen geometry and well-profiled tip, it provides stable chain guidance and easy control of the cutting direction. This is especially important for work that requires accuracy - such as cutting structural timber components, preparing planks or trimming branches close to the trunk.

In household applications, the guide will be perfect for use during:

  • regular preparation of wood for the fireplace or stove - cutting blocks, bilichs and logs,
  • care of ornamental and fruit trees - removal of diseased, dry or excessively long branches,
  • cleaning up the area after high winds - removing broken branches and smaller stumps,
  • assembly work in the construction of wooden garden structures - gazebos, pergolas, sheds and fences.

Properly selected parameters of the guide bar and the mating chain reduce the risk of uncontrolled recoil, which positively affects the safety of work. With the observance of basic health and safety rules and regular inspection of the condition of the guide, the user gains confidence that the tool will serve reliably for a long time.

Why choose a 3/8" 1.3 mm 16" 160SDEA041 hobby guide OO-ACCV160SDEA041?

Choosing the right bar is critical to the performance and life of your chainsaw. Model 160SDEA041 OO-ACCV160SDEA041, in 3/8" hobby standard and 1.3 mm width, is the ideal solution for users who need a reliable accessory for everyday work in the home and garden, but at the same time do not want to invest in heavy professional cutting sets.

Key user benefits:

  • Versatility of length 16" - Can handle both branches and medium-thick trunks; great compromise between reach and portability.
  • Less strain on the saw - Narrow 1.3mm groove and 3/8" hobby pitch reduce resistance to chain movement, which promotes longer engine life.
  • Comfort and confidence in cutting - The guide bar provides a stable chain path, resulting in smooth cutting and easier machine control.

For users who use their chainsaw extensively during the heating season or during major cleanup work, choosing this guide means fewer service interruptions, less frequent accessory changes, and higher operating safety. It's an investment that quickly pays off in the form of an efficient and effective tool.
