Chain saw guide 160MLBK095 OO-ACCV160MLBK095 - what it is and how it works in your chain saw?

Prowadnica do pilarek 160MLBK095 OO-ACCV160MLBK095

The 160MLBK095 OO-ACCV160MLBK095 chainsaw guide bar is a hardened steel member that provides a rigid base for the working cutting chain. Its task is to keep the chain in the correct axis, ensuring that the links run steadily along the groove and along the toothed end of the guide bar. In practice, on the quality of the guide depends not only the rate of cutting, but also its accuracy and the safety of the user.

Working length 16" (approx. 40 cm) is a universal compromise between cutting range and handiness of the saw. Allows you to easily cut medium thickness logs, prepare firewood, and at the same time maintain full control of the machine. In combination with a properly selected pitch chain .325" product creates a set of high efficiency, especially appreciated for frequent and repetitive work.

From the point of view of the end user, the 160MLBK095 OO-ACCV160MLBK095 guide is a component that directly affects the comfort of work. Lower vibration, less tendency to jam in the material being cut, and easier blade guidance are just some of the benefits a well-designed guide offers. As a result, even less experienced people can achieve even and aesthetically pleasing cuts, while maintaining a high level of safety.

Where the 160MLBK095 OO-ACCV160MLBK095 guide bar is mounted and which saws it works with?

Montaż prowadnicy 160MLBK095 OO-ACCV160MLBK095

Guide bar 160MLBK095 OO-ACCV160MLBK095 is mounted in a standard chainsaw socket - between the body of the machine and the mounting bracket (clutch cover). When assembling it, slide its foot into the appropriate guides in the body of the saw, put the chain on the groove and the end sprocket, and then tension the whole thing with the factory tensioning mechanism. A properly installed guide bar should maintain a slight working play, allowing the chain to rotate freely without excessive resistance.

Thanks to the universal dimensions and graduation .the 325" bar can work with a wide range of popular chainsaws - both petrol and electric - that are designed to handle chains with a drive link width of 1.3 mm. Before buying, it's a good idea to compare the technical parameters of your chainsaw (chain pitch, bar length, groove width) with those of the product to be sure of full compatibility.

In practice, the 160MLBK095 OO-ACCV160MLBK095 guide is used m.in. in chainsaws used by homeowners, farms, carpentry workshops or small construction companies. It works well when mounted on all-purpose saws for work around the house, in orchards and gardens, but also on machines used for occasional tree felling and preparation of construction timber.

The use of a bar for 16" chainsaws - from the garden to the professional workshop

Zastosowanie prowadnicy 160MLBK095 OO-ACCV160MLBK095

The 160MLBK095 OO-ACCV160MLBK095 guide is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of users. In backyard work, it is ideal for pruning branches, removing volunteer trees, cutting firewood, preparing blocks and logs for the heating season, and cleaning up after windstorms. The 16" length allows the saw to be operated with ease in tight spaces between branches and shrubs.

In semi-professional and professional applications, the guide is suitable for felling and limbing of medium-diameter trees, maintenance work in orchards and young forests, as well as cutting structural elements - logs, squared timbers or planks on a construction site. The narrow notch gap and properly selected chain pitch make it possible to achieve a clean cut, which is important, for example, when preparing construction or carpentry material.

With regular use, the guide is distinguished by stable operation and resistance to overheating, which is particularly important in service companies engaged in logging, green care or high-altitude work. Thanks to its robust construction and refined groove geometry, the chain moves smoothly, reducing the risk of it falling or jamming in the material - which translates into a higher level of safety and lower failure rate for the entire cutting set.

The key technical features of the 160MLBK095 OO-ACCV160MLBK095 guide and their impact on the comfort of work

Cechy techniczne prowadnicy 160MLBK095 OO-ACCV160MLBK095

One of the most important features of the 160MLBK095 OO-ACCV160MLBK095 guide bar is the chain pitch used .325" and a groove width of 1.3 mm. The combination of these parameters creates what is known as a narrow kerf cutting kit, which requires less power to achieve the same cutting performance than traditional solutions. For the user, this means lighter saw operation, less fuel or electricity consumption, and the ability to achieve higher cutting speeds while maintaining full control of the machine.

The tip with 11 teeth, mounted on four sturdy rivets, is responsible for the smooth guidance of the chain along the curve of the bar. This design ensures even load distribution and efficient lubrication of the links, which in practice translates into longer life for the chain and the bar itself. In day-to-day use, the user notices less downtime associated with adjusting or replacing attachments and a more consistent work rate even when cutting harder woods.

The 16" length is an optimal compromise between reach and maneuverability. Compared to shorter guides, it provides more opportunities for felling and cutting through thicker material, while compared to longer guides, it facilitates precise tool guidance and reduces operator fatigue. This is especially important for longer work sessions, such as when preparing firewood all day or cutting material at a construction site.

Why choose a chain saw guide bar 160MLBK095 OO-ACCV160MLBK095?

1. To which saws the 160MLBK095 guide bar fits OO-ACCV160MLBK095?

The bar fits chainsaws designed to work with pitch chains .325" and a link width of 1.3 mm. Before buying, it is a good idea to check in the instruction manual of the saw the lengths and parameters of the guides provided by the manufacturer, and then compare them with the technical specifications of the product.

2. Is the guide suitable for intensive, professional use?

Yes, the sturdy construction, the tip with 11 teeth mounted on 4 rivets, and the narrow-slot profile make the guide also well suited for frequent and demanding use - for example, in logging companies, landscaping or on farms. However, it is crucial to use the right chain and regularly service the entire cutting set.

3. How to take care of the slide to serve as long as possible?

Check chain tension regularly, ensure proper lubrication (clean chain oil), periodically rotate the bar "up and down" to evenly distribute wear, and remove dirt and resin from the groove. It's also a good idea to check the condition of the gear bit and get service if necessary.

4. Does a narrow cut gap affect cutting performance?

Yes, narrow-slot set (1.3 mm groove, pitch .325") requires less power to achieve the same depth and speed of cut compared to traditional solutions. In practice, the saw runs "lighter," consumes less fuel or energy, and the user feels less fatigue during longer jobs.
