What is the 40-volt charger for IKRA devices (standard) OB-IKRILAD?
The OB-IKRILAD charger is a standard, original mains charger designed to charge 40 V batteries of the IKRA system. It is a key part of the battery equipment set - without it you will not charge the battery, and thus will not run the garden equipment. Thanks to the use of lithium-ion technology, the charger works with modern batteries with high energy density, providing them with the right charging current and voltage.
This product will be especially appreciated by users who have several IKRA devices in one 40V system. One charger and one battery can power multiple tools, reducing costs and keeping your home workshop or garage organized.

Where to mount and how to connect the 40-volt IKRA OB-IKRILAD charger?
IKRA OB-IKRILAD charger is designed for indoor use - in a garage, workshop, basement or other dry room with access to a 230 V outlet. Installation and use are extremely simple, so that any user, even without technical experience, can cope with operation.
Installation and connection method:
- plug the charger plug into a standard 230-volt power outlet in your home or garage,
- place the 40-volt battery in the charger slot, matching the guides and inserting it until it snaps into place,
- the indicator lights on the charger will inform you about the start of the charging process and the level of charge of the battery,
- after charging is complete, remove the battery from the charger and unplug the device from the mains if it will not be used further.
The charger can be placed on a countertop, shelf or other stable surface. Thanks to its compact design, it's easy to find a place for it even in a small basement or tool locker. The power cable is long enough to reach the outlet comfortably, yet does not get tangled during daily use.
Examples of daily use:
- charging the battery after mowing the lawn with a 40-volt mower, so that the next day the equipment is ready to work,
- to replenish the battery of a trimmer or hedge trimmer after the work of trimming edges or shaping shrubs,
- recharge the battery before the weekend, when you plan intensive work in the garden with several devices at the same time.

Use of IKRA 40 V OB-IKRILAD charger - the convenience of one ONE FOR ALL system
IKRA OB-IKRILAD 40 volt charger is the center of the battery system ONE FOR ALL - 40 VOLT POWER PACK. One 40-volt battery that works with this charger can power multiple garden equipment, which in practice means real savings, less mess and more convenience.
Typical devices powered by IKRA 40-volt batteries:
- 40-volt cordless mowers,
- 40-volt trimmers and trimmers,
- 40-volt hedge trimmer,
- 40-volt chainsaws,
- 40-volt leaf blowers and vacuums and other IKRA 40-volt garden power tools.
Benefits of a single charging system:
- saving - You don't have to buy a separate charger for each device,
- order in the garage - One battery, one charger and several garden tools,
- work flexibility - if needed, you can quickly transfer a charged battery from the mower to the trimmer or blower.
With this system during the gardening season, you can plan your work in advance: while one battery is in use, the other is charging in the OB-IKRILAD charger. This allows for virtually uninterrupted work when mowing a large lawn, tidying up flowerbeds or removing leaves in the fall.
IKRA 40 V OB-IKRILAD charger - quality, safety and reliability
IKRA's original 40-volt OB-IKRILAD charger is designed for long, trouble-free operation. High-quality components ensure stable performance, and built-in safety features protect both the charger and the battery pack.
Key quality and safety features:
- dedicated to IKRA 40 V Li-Ion batteries - Optimally adjusted charging voltage and current, extending battery life,
- surge and short-circuit protections - Protection against power surges and improper connection,
- controlled rate of charging - reduces cell overheating and minimizes the risk of battery damage.
The perceptible benefits in daily use are, first of all, the certainty that the equipment will work when it is needed. You don't have to worry about the quality of charging - the charger has been designed precisely to work with specific IKRA brand batteries and devices.
Practical examples:
- safe charging of the battery at night - in the morning you can immediately start mowing without worrying about the state of the battery,
- regular recharging after short jobs - without the "memory" effect typical of older battery technologies,
- reliable work during the busy gardening season when you use several different tools every day.
Efficient charging performance - fast recovery with IKRA OB-IKRILAD charger
The IKRA OB-IKRILAD charger provides optimal charging time for 40-volt batteries, allowing them to return to work quickly while protecting the battery from overcharging.
Charging time of 40 V 2.5 Ah battery:
- about 3 hours - up to 80% charge,
- approximately 5 hours - up to 100% charge.
This way of charging works perfectly in practice. Many garden chores can be successfully completed with the battery already charged to 80%. So just plug it into the charger in the morning or during a break, and it will be up and running again in no time. When you plan to work for a longer period of time, you leave the battery on the charger to fully charge - for example, overnight.
Typical use scenarios:
- after midday mowing - you charge the battery to 80% and finish the lawn the next day,
- friday evening - you plug in the battery to start intensive garden cleaning on Saturday morning,
- in season - you regularly recharge the battery after each work session so that it is always ready for the next task.
