What are 4.00-8" pneumatic wheels for Nibbi 118/118D 69209123 and why they are so important for your soil planter?

Koła pneumatyczne 4.00-8 do Nibbi 118/118D 69209123

Pneumatic wheels 4.00-8" for Nibbi 118/118D 69209123 is a set of two wheels with agricultural tires mounted on the drive axle of the tiller. They replace standard transport wheels or metal gears, providing greater comfort and ground protection. The 4.00-8" tire size is a popular dimension in small agricultural and horticultural machinery, which guarantees optimal ground contact while maintaining the compact dimensions of the set.

The design of the wheels is based on:

  • Steel rims - Impact-resistant, suitable for intensive use in field conditions.
  • Pneumatic tires 4.00-8" - With deep, directional agricultural-type tread for high traction.
  • Inner tubes - enabling precise pressure regulation and better cushioning.

Thanks to the use of pneumatic tires, the wheels not only drive the tiller, but also act as an additional shock absorbing element. Reduce shocks transmitted to the operator's hands and the machine structure, resulting in less fatigue during prolonged operation and extended life of gears and components.

Examples of daily use:

  • Daily cultivation of soil in vegetable beds, where precision guidance and a firm hold of direction are required.
  • Spring field preparation for sowing vegetables or grains on small farms, including breaking up clods and leveling the soil.
  • Inter-row work in orchards and plantations, where the machine must move steadily over uneven, often slippery ground.

Installation of 4.00-8" pneumatic wheels for Nibbi 118/118D - quick replacement and perfect fit for drive axle

Montaż kół pneumatycznych 4.00-8 Nibbi 118 118D

The 4.00-8" pneumatic wheels were designed specifically for the models Nibbi 118 and Nibbi 118D, thanks to which their installation is simple and does not require special modifications. The fasteners are matched to the original axles of the soil planter, eliminating the problem of backlash or misalignment. In practice, this means that the user can replace the wheels himself, using basic workshop tools.

Where exactly do you mount 4.00-8" pneumatic wheels for Nibbi 118/118D?

  • On the drive axle of the soil conditioner - wheels are seated on the output shafts of the gearbox, responsible for the transmission of the drive to the ground.
  • In place of standard transport wheels - Allowing the machine to quickly change from transport to work mode, with maximum traction.
  • In working or transport configuration - Depending on your needs, wheel pressure can be adjusted to optimize work in the field or travel on paved surfaces.

Examples of assembly application in practice:

  • Quickly switch from steel or studded metal wheels to pneumatic wheels when driving the soil tiller from the farm to a plot several kilometers away.
  • Installation of pneumatic wheels before the start of autumn work on heavy, wet soil, where traction and the ability to move smoothly are particularly important.
  • The use of pneumatic wheels in "universal" mode - both for cultivation and for transporting a garden trailer with crops or seeds.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about 4.00-8" pneumatic wheels for Nibbi 118/118D 69209123

1. Do 4.00-8" pneumatic wheels fit other models of soilers than Nibbi 118 and 118D?
The kit was designed mainly for the Nibbi 118 and Nibbi 118D models and guarantees full compatibility with them. Theoretically, it is possible to fit other machines with similar axle diameters and mounting spacing, but before installation it is necessary to carefully compare the technical dimensions and method of attachment.

2. What pressure should be in 4.00-8" tires for a soil compactor?
Recommended pressure depends on the type of substrate and load. For field work and soft soil, a slightly lower pressure is usually used to increase the tire's contact area and improve traction. For driving on hard surfaces (e.g., pavement, asphalt), higher pressure is advisable, which reduces rolling resistance and tire wear. The exact values should be selected according to the tire manufacturer's guidelines and operating conditions.

3. Can I do the installation of pneumatic wheels myself?
Yes, most users are able to mount the 4.00-8" pneumatic wheels on the Nibbi 118/118D tiller by themselves, using basic tools (wrenches, axle locks). It is important to properly align the wheels on the axle, install safety features and check for play before starting work.

4. Are pneumatic wheels better than metal studded wheels?
Each of these types of wheels has its uses. Studded metal wheels provide extreme traction in very tough, muddy conditions. Pneumatic wheels, on the other hand, offer much greater comfort, application versatility and ground protection. For most typical gardening and agricultural work, pneumatic wheels prove to be the most comfortable and practical solution.

5. How to take care of 4.00-8" pneumatic wheels in daily use?
The basis is to regularly check tire pressure, check the condition of the tread and any mechanical damage (cracks, cuts, bulges). After the season is over, it's a good idea to clean the wheels of soil and stones, store the tiller in a dry place, and avoid prolonged contact between the tires and petroleum-based substances that can accelerate the aging of the rubber.

6. Is the product photo an accurate representation of the wheels I will receive?
The photo is for illustration purposes only and shows the typical appearance of 4.00-8" pneumatic wheels designed for the Nibbi 118/118D soil planter. Some details (e.g. rim shade, minor markings on the tire) may differ slightly from the copy delivered to the customer, but the technical parameters and purpose remain as described.

7. Does the set include two pieces of wheels?
Sets of this type are usually offered as a set of wheels intended for both sides of the soil planter. However, before placing an order, it is always a good idea to check the information in the product description and in the store specifications to make sure whether the price is for one wheel or a set of wheels.
