METAL WHEELS FOR NIBBI 118/118D 69209122 - maximum traction for the tiller in all conditions

Metal wheels designed for use with the Nibbi 118 and 118D soil tiller

METAL WHEELS FOR NIBBI 118/118D 69209122 is a rugged, specialized work accessory designed for Nibbi 118 and 118D series soilers. Made of durable, thick-walled steel, the wheels replace standard rubber wheels wherever extremely strong grip and wear resistance are required. Thanks to their aggressive tread and properly sized, they significantly improve the traction of the machine, making it easier to work in the toughest soil conditions.

What are the METAL Wheels for NIBBI 118/118D 69209122 and why you should have them?

METAL WHEELS FOR NIBBI 118/118D 69209122 is a set of two metal working wheels designed specifically for use with Nibbi 118 and Nibbi 118D soilers. They replace the rubberized transport wheels, turning the soil tiller into an extremely effective tool for cultivation, filling and working on inclines. The design of the wheels is based on a welded steel ring with welded blades (teeth) that bite into the soil and prevent slippage, even when the ground is heavy, clayey or wet.

In practice, this means that the operator gains full control of the machine, can work deeper, slower and more precisely, without wasting energy on wheel slippage. It's an accessory especially appreciated by gardeners, farmers and professional users who expect a soil tiller to deliver performance comparable to a small single-axle tractor.

Where Nibbi 118/118D metal wheels are mounted and what the installation looks like?

METAL WHEELS FOR NIBBI 118/118D 69209122 mounts directly on the axle of the tiller in place of standard transport wheels. A matching hub mount with mounting holes allows wheels to be quickly attached to Nibbi 118 and Nibbi 118D factory mounts. Such a method of installation means that the replacement from rubber wheels to metal wheels takes only a few minutes and does not require specialized tools - basic wrenches, which the user usually has in his workshop, are enough.

With the installation of metal wheels, the center of gravity of the tiller is favorably lowered, which increases the stability of the machine when working in ridges, on inclines or in deep soil cultivation. Wheels can be used on their own or in combination with other accessories - for example, a plow, a seed drill or a cultivator - attached to the back of the soil tiller.

Example of assembly application:

  • Replacement of rubber wheels with metal wheels before spring deep tillage of frozen or compacted soil.
  • Installation of metal wheels for working with a single-plow when plowing in a small orchard.
  • Putting wheels in place before sprinkling potatoes with an adjustable seed drill on a slight incline.

METAL WHEELS FOR NIBBI 118/118D Soil Compactor - key advantages and benefits for the user

Metal wheels for Nibbi 118/118D are designed to maximize field and garden work. Their use brings a number of benefits that you will feel the first time you drive the soil tiller:

  • Exceptional grip - aggressive steel blades bite into the soil and prevent slippage. As a result, the machine does not "dance" on the surface, but confidently moves forward, evenly driving the working knives.
  • Better use of engine power - No slippage means that full engine power is transferred to work the soil, rather than the wheels slipping. This translates into shorter working hours and lower fuel consumption.
  • Stability on inclines - metal wheels improve traction on slopes and in ridges where rubber wheels tend to sink or slip. With them you can work more safely on hilly plots and slopes.

The wheels will work well both in small home gardens and on larger acreage on farms, where repeatable results and reliability of equipment during the season are important.

Durable, reinforced steel construction - reliability for many seasons

METAL WHEELS FOR NIBBI 118/118D 69209122 are made of high quality steel, resistant to deformation and mechanical damage. The welded design of the ring and blades ensures adequate rigidity while reducing the risk of breakage when working in rocky soil or on heterogeneous ground.

The surface of the wheels is covered with a durable lacquer coating that protects the steel from corrosion and makes it easy to clean after use. Mud, clay or plant debris can be quickly removed with a jet of water, keeping the wheels in very good working condition for many seasons.

Examples of situations in which you will appreciate the durability of wheels:

  • Cultivation of heavy, clay soils where traditional tires wear out or deteriorate quickly.
  • Working in fields with rocks, roots and other obstacles that can damage the tire.
  • Intense, daily use of the soil tiller during the season - in a small vegetable farm or plant nursery.

Use of Nibbi 118/118D metal wheels in daily operations

METAL WHEELS FOR NIBBI 118/118D 69209122 significantly expand the capabilities of your tiller. Once they are installed, the machine becomes a versatile tool for a range of field and garden work:

  • Deep soil cultivation - The wheels allow the blades to maintain a stable depth in difficult conditions, such as after a prolonged drought or on long-untilled soil.
  • Ploughing and ploughing - In combination with the plow, the metal wheels provide the necessary traction to turn the furrow and mix the crop residue.
  • Covering and forming ridges - stable guidance of the soil tiller allows precise ridging of potatoes, carrots, leeks or strawberries.
  • Working on inclines - improved traction allows safer operation on slopes, embankments and drainage ditches.

As a result, one set of metal wheels can handle a wide range of tasks: from spring soil preparation, to summer maintenance work, to autumn cleanup and green manure plowing.

Compatibility, convenience of use and economy of purchase

METAL WHEELS FOR NIBBI 118/118D 69209122 are dedicated to specific models of Nibbi soilers - 118 and 118D series. This ensures that you have a proper fit and a stable, secure attachment. You don't have to worry about making adapters or modifications that could weaken the design of the wheels or affect operational safety.

Investing in metal wheels also means real savings:

  • you limit the wear and tear on your tire wheels, which you can keep for purely transportation tasks,
  • reducing work time due to better traction, you use less fuel,
  • you increase the life of the engine and gearboxes, which are not overloaded by constant slipping and jerking.

This solution is particularly attractive for professional users who perform contract cultivation services - the reliability of the machine directly translates into customer satisfaction and timely completion of work.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions about METAL WHEELS FOR NIBBI 118/118D 69209122

Do the metal wheels fit other models of soilers than the Nibbi 118 and 118D?

The wheels were designed specifically for the Nibbi 118 and 118D models, so full compatibility and safety of operation is guaranteed by their installation on these very machines. Use on other models is possible only after prior professional verification of the compatibility of mounts and axles.

Does the installation of metal wheels require a service visit?

In most cases, you can do the installation yourself, using basic tools. The wheels are put on the axle in place of standard wheels and secured with the appropriate fasteners. If you don't feel confident, however, it's worth getting help from an authorized service center.

Can metal wheels be driven on paving stones or asphalt?

Metal wheels are mainly designed for soil work. Driving on hard surfaces such as pavement or asphalt can cause them to wear out faster and damage the substrate. For typical transportation on paved roads, it is better to use rubber wheels.

How to take care of metal wheels after work is done?

After each use of metal wheels, it is recommended to remove soil and plant debris from them and then rinse with water. After drying, it is worth checking the condition of the paint coating - any scratches can be locally protected with anti-corrosion paint. Store wheels in a dry place, protecting them from prolonged contact with moisture.

Are metal wheels heavier than rubber wheels, and does this affect the handling of the soil compactor?

Yes, metal wheels are usually heavier than rubber wheels, but their weight works to the advantage of the operator - it increases ground pressure and improves traction. The soil tiller drives more steadily and requires less force to maintain direction due to better traction.

Are metal wheels suitable for working in very wet soil?

Yes, it is in wet, slippery conditions that metal wheels with aggressive blades show their advantage over rubber wheels. However, be careful - working too deep in soggy soil can lead to over-compaction of the soil.
