NIBBI 118 SOIL TILLER 68579001E5S2 - PROFESSIONAL SOIL TREATMENT FOR THE DISCERNING

What is the NIBBI 118 68579001E5S2 soil tiller and who it was designed for?

The NIBBI 118 68579001E5S2 soil cultivator is a professional, diesel-powered soil cultivation and maintenance machine, designed for both small farmers and professional landscapers. The unit is built on a strong, reinforced gearbox that transmits drive directly from the crankshaft of the 252 cm³ Emak K900HR OHV engine. Such a solution guarantees high load resistance and reliability even in very difficult working conditions - on heavy, compacted or too stony soils.

This model combines compact dimensions with a large working width of 100 cm (which can be reduced to 80 or 60 cm). This makes it ideal for farms, orchards, plant nurseries, vegetable gardens and professional horticultural companies that need efficient and durable equipment for intensive use.

The NIBBI 118 68579001E5S2 soil compactor is also distinguished by its extensive standard equipment - the set includes, among other things, metal wheels 69209122 and a tool holder, which significantly expands the application possibilities of the device.

Where is the NIBBI 118 68579001E5S2 soil tiller mounted and how does it work??

The NIBBI 118 soil tiller is a complete drive unit with its own engine, gearbox and blade assembly. Doesn't need to be hooked up to a tractor - the operator drives it with an adjustable steering wheel. The device moves on sturdy wheels (including the metal working wheels included in the kit), and the rotation of the working knives is driven by a mechanical gear transmission.

The machine is prepared to work on any type of terrain where loosening and mixing of soil is needed: on farm fields, in home gardens, in plastic tunnels, in orchards between rows of trees and shrubs, as well as in green areas before establishing a lawn. The center support wheel makes it easy to transport the soil tiller between jobsites, and the reverse gear provides convenient maneuvering in confined spaces.

The device is designed to work with additional accessories mounted on the tool holder (in standard equipment). As a result, they can be used, for example, for sowing potatoes, making ridges, loosening inter-rows or weeding.

NIBBI 118 soil tiller - powerful Emak 252 cm³ engine and geared transmission for maximum durability

At the heart of the NIBBI 118 soil tiller is a 252 cm³ Emak K900HR OHV four-stroke engine, designed specifically for use in garden and agricultural machinery. OHV (overhead valve) technology for optimal combustion, high torque with low fuel consumption, and easy starting in various weather conditions. For the user, this means a sure start even after a long shutdown and lower operating costs during the season.

Direct gearing on the crankshaft minimizes power loss and eliminates weaknesses typical of belt or chain solutions. The reinforced gearbox housing protects the mechanism from stones, lumps of earth and accidental impacts, significantly reducing the risk of failure. This is especially important on farms where equipment works intensively day after day - the farmer or gardener can rely on the machine instead of wasting time on service downtime.

In practice, this means that the NIBBI 118 soil tiller can handle both the preparation of heavy, long-untilled soil for a vegetable garden and the regular loosening of light soils in tree and ornamental shrub nurseries. The powerful motor and efficient transmission allow deep and even loosening of the ground, which translates into better conditions for plant growth, faster emergence and higher crop quality.

Adjustable working width of 100/80/60 cm - one NIBBI 118 soil tiller for multiple applications

The big advantage of the NIBBI 118 model is its working width of as much as 100 cm, which can be reduced to 80 or 60 cm. Such a flexible range allows the machine to be tailored to specific tasks and the width of the inter-rows in the crop:

  • 100 cm - Ideal for quick preparation of large areas before sowing grass, establishing vegetable plantations or growing root crops;
  • 80 cm - Convenient in orchards and fruit bushes, where it is necessary to avoid tree trunks and support structures;
  • 60 cm - indispensable in narrow intercropping, plastic tunnels, greenhouses and home beds.

The working unit is formed by as many as 4+4 knives with properly profiled edges, which bite into the soil, breaking up hard clods and thoroughly mixing the soil with organic or mineral fertilizers. This makes the soil plump, aerated and perfectly prepared for sowing or planting. For example: preparing the site for strawberries, garlic or root vegetables becomes a quick and repetitive activity, saving the operator time and effort.

It also comes with metal wheels 69209122, which increase traction in rough terrain and allow the connection of additional tools. These are what allow the soil tiller to act as a small, all-purpose garden tractor.

Ergonomics, comfort and full control - NIBBI 118 vertical and horizontal steering wheel

The NIBBI 118 soil tiller is designed to make work as less tiring as possible, even for long work cycles. Vertically and horizontally adjustable handlebars allow you to adjust the height and extension of the handles to suit the height and style of the operator. This allows any user - regardless of height - to drive the machine in a comfortable and safe position without excessive bending or lifting of the hands.

The handles feature ergonomic buttons and control levers, located within easy reach of the hand. This allows you to fully control the operation of the soil tiller without taking your hands off the wheel. Easy access to controls for speed, working knives and reverse gear is not only convenient, but also makes the work safer - the operator can immediately react by stopping the drive or changing the direction of travel.

The centralized support wheel, with which the tiller is equipped, makes it easier both to transport the machine itself between plots and to set the working depth precisely. In practice, this means that the user does not need to carry the device - just guide it, saving forces and reducing the risk of injury.

3 forward gears + 1 reverse gear - fine tune the speed of operation

The mechanical gearbox used in the NIBBI 118 offers three forward gears and one reverse gear, which translates into a wide range of possibilities to match the pace of work to the type of soil and task at hand:

  • 1 gear - 58 rpm./min: ideal for heavy and compacted soils, the first pass over a long uncultivated field, mixing large amounts of manure or compost;
  • 2nd gear - 102 rpm./min: universal, designed for most of the work in the garden, vegetable garden and orchard, when you want an efficient, yet thorough loosening of the soil;
  • 3rd gear - 140 rpm./min: used for lighter soils and final leveling of the ground, such as before sowing lawn or small-seeded plants;
  • reverse gear - 44 rpm./min: allows the machine to be conveniently withdrawn from the end of a row, a narrow aisle, a corner of the greenhouse or when the knife unit encounters an obstacle.

With this configuration, the operator has full control over the speed of movement and the intensity of the knives. In practice, this means that a single machine can be used to both gently plow the soil in an ornamental garden and perform heavy tillage work in the field before sowing spring crops or vegetables.

The use of the NIBBI 118 68579001E5S2 soil tiller in everyday work

The NIBBI 118 68579001E5S2 soil compactor is an extremely versatile tool that will find use in many places:

  • Farms - Preparation of soil for sowing vegetables, corn, cereals; mixing soil with fertilizers, elimination of intercrops, care of inter-rows of root crops.
  • Orchards and fruit plantations - Loosening the soil between rows of trees, shrubs, blueberries, raspberries; reducing weeds without using chemicals.
  • Professional gardening - work in greenhouses, film tunnels, nurseries of ornamental plants; preparation of capacious beds for seedling production.
  • Hobby gardeners and allotment gardeners - Establishment and restoration of vegetable gardens, preparation of soil for planting ornamental plants, perennials, lawn.
  • Service companies - Comprehensive preparation of green areas for individual clients and institutions; regeneration of devastated lawns by deep loosening of the subsoil and replacement of soil.

In practice, the NIBBI 118 soil tiller allows you to replace many hand tools (shovels, hoes, pitchforks), reducing soil preparation time from several days to a few hours. At the same time, the high unladen weight of 96 kg and sturdy working knives guarantee proper penetration into the ground without excessive pressure on the device.
