FAQ - frequently asked questions about the rotary water brush 68500002A
1. Is the rotary water brush 68500002A suitable for washing car paint?
Yes. The brush is made of natural bristles, which are much softer than stiff synthetic fibers. Combined with a rotary motion and constant rinsing with water, it allows to effectively remove dirt while maintaining a high level of safety for the paint. However, it is recommended to rinse thicker dirt (sand, mud) with pressurized water alone beforehand.
2. Can I use this brush with other washers than Oleo-Mac?
The 68500002A was designed primarily for the Oleo-Mac PW 121C, PW 136C, PW 145C, PW 170C, PW 190C and PWH300C washers. These washers guarantee full connector compatibility and optimal brush conditions. For other brands, additional adapters may be necessary - it is worth checking the type of connector and the washer manufacturer's recommendations before purchasing.
3. How to take care of a brush to make it last as long as possible?
After cleaning, it is a good idea to rinse the brush with clean water, getting rid of detergent residues and dirt. Then let it dry in an airy place without exposing it to direct sunlight for a long time. Periodically inspecting the bristles and removing any pebbles or larger dirt from them will help keep them soft and effective.
4. Does the brush always rotate or only at a certain pressure?
Hydro brush rotates under the influence of the water stream from the pressure washer. In practice, this means that the typical operating pressure generated by compatible Oleo-Mac washers is sufficient for proper operation. If the water pressure is too low (for example, with improper settings or flow restriction), the speed may decrease.
5. Can I use detergents along with the rotary brush?
Yes, the brush is designed to work with common detergents designed for pressure washers, such as car shampoos and facade cleaners. Only use detergents recommended by the manufacturers of the washers and always follow the solution concentration recommendations to protect both the surfaces being cleaned and the accessory itself.
6. Is the brush suitable for cleaning heavily soiled surfaces, such as heavily greased ones?
Rotary water brush 68500002A works best on delicate or moderately soiled surfaces where protection of the coating is key. For very heavy dirt (such as thick layers of grease in the workshop), a combination of chemicals with other high-pressure tips, followed by gentle cleaning with a hydro-brush, may give better results to restore the perfect appearance of the surface.
