OLEO-MAC BC241HC HEDGE TRIMMER 61379070E5 - PROFESSIONAL PETROL HEDGE TRIMMER WITH BOOM FOR DEMANDING HEDGES

Oleo-Mac BC241HC 61379070E5 hedge trimmer is a professional, long-arm petrol hedge trimmer designed for intensive work on tall and wide hedges, ornamental shrubs and dense vegetation. They provide a large working range without the need for a ladder, exceptional cutting precision and high comfort, making them ideal for the discerning home user as well as gardening companies and municipal services.

The device is assembled and operated like a classic petrol shear with a boom: the engine is placed at the rear, the operator holds the machine by the main handle and an auxiliary handle, and the cutting head with an adjustable tilt angle works at the end of a rigid 0.9-meter-long boom. This will safely trim even very tall hedges, working from ground level.

OLEO-MAC BC241HC HEDGE TRIMMER - POWERFUL ENGINE, EXTENDED REACH AND PROFESSIONAL BLADES

At the heart of the Oleo-Mac BC241HC shears is a two-stroke engine with a displacement of 21.7 cm³ and an output of 1.2 hp (0.9 kW). This configuration provides an optimal balance of power, weight and fuel consumption. The machine easily handles thicker stems and compact, hard hedges, maintaining a stable RPM even under prolonged load - for which the digital coil with electronic rev limiter is responsible. In practice, this means that trimming 20-30 meters of tall hedge around the property is done quickly, without the need for frequent interruptions and without the engine "choking" in dense vegetation.

The length of the guide 550 mm and the total length of the device reaching up to 1.8 m allow comfortable work from the ground level also with plants with a height of 3-4 meters (depending on the height of the user). The use of high-quality steel for the blades ensures clean, even cuts, which promotes healthy plant regrowth and an aesthetically pleasing hedge appearance. The 35 mm blade pitch allows you to cut thicker branches typical of thuyas, yews, ligustrums, hornbeams or beeches without any problems.

In daily use, this works well with:

  • regular formation of rows of thuyas and vivipers in home gardens,
  • care of high hedges from the street or fence without having to climb ladders,
  • quick pruning of ornamental shrubs in residential areas, parks and around public buildings.

MAXIMUM ERGONOMICS AND COMFORT - ANTI-VIBRATION SYSTEM AND ROTATING HANDLE

The user's comfort is crucial when working with a combustion machine, which is why the Oleo-Mac BC241HC hedge trimmer is equipped with an advanced anti-vibration system consisting of four springs that completely isolate the handle from vibrations generated by the engine and cutting unit. As a result, hands and arms tire much more slowly, and the risk of numbness or discomfort during long hours of work is minimized.

180° rotating handle with 12 positions (five intermediate positions) allows you to precisely adjust the positioning of the shears to the job at hand. Whether you're trimming the top edge of a tall hedge or its side along a wall, you can adjust the handle so that your wrists work in a natural position and your body remains upright. This reduces muscle fatigue in the back and shoulders, which is especially important for professionals who make dozens of meters of cuts a day.

In practice, this translates into free and safe work:

  • along fences, walls and building walls, where unusual tool settings are often necessary,
  • when leveling the upper edges of the hedge over slopes or terrain differences,
  • in situations that require reaching over flowerbeds, rockeries or ponds without destroying them.

FLEXIBILITY OF WORK THANKS TO ADJUSTABLE BLADE AND 0.9 M EXTENSION ARM

The Oleo-Mac BC241HC is equipped with a 0.9-meter-long boom and a blade with 12-position adjustment from 0 to 180°. This allows you to smoothly adjust the cutting angle to the shape and height of the plants. You can work horizontally, vertically, at an incline and even from underneath - without having to reposition the operator or move the ladder.

Such flexibility in settings is particularly useful:

  • when forming curves, rounds and fancy shapes from ornamental shrubs,
  • when caring for plants growing on sloping terrain where access is difficult,
  • in gardens with narrow passageways, where there is no room to set up a scaffold or a wide ladder.

The adjustable cutting head also allows safer operation of the machine - the user can maintain a safe distance from the blades, while reaching further and higher. This is especially important when trimming hedges growing along busy streets, embankments or over embankments.

DURABILITY AND RELIABILITY - PROFESSIONAL GEARBOX AND HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS

One of the most important advantages of the Oleo-Mac BC241HC hedge trimmer is its durability. Professional gearbox made of magnesium, cam mechanism with gear wheel and connecting rods with shafts are designed for many years of intensive use. This design guarantees:

  • long gearbox life even when operating in harsh conditions,
  • quiet and smooth operation of the machine,
  • low level of vibrations transmitted to the operator's hands.

The use of high-quality steel for the blades makes them resistant to dulling and mechanical damage, even in contact with harder twigs or woody shoots. As a result, the device maintains high cutting efficiency for a long time, and cutting intervals are extended, reducing operating costs.

These solutions are particularly appreciated by:

  • service companies that operate equipment virtually every day of the season,
  • city and municipal services responsible for maintaining greenery along roads and in parks,
  • private users expecting equipment "for years" and not just for one season.

EASY STARTING AND LOW FUEL CONSUMPTION - MODERN IGNITION SYSTEM

The advanced ignition system in the Oleo-Mac BC241HC shears makes it significantly easier to start the engine - even after a long break in use or in colder weather. A digital coil with an electronic rev limiter takes care of optimal combustion of the fuel-air mixture, which translates into:

  • stable engine operation over the full speed range,
  • lower fuel consumption,
  • lower emissions and smoke,
  • limited build-up of carbon deposits inside the engine.

In practice, this means less time spent "tugging at a string" and more effective work. During seasonal garden maintenance - when you're back to trimming hedges every few weeks - the ability to quickly start the machine is a great convenience and realistically reduces the time it takes to get the job done.

OLEO-MAC BC241HC HEDGE TRIMMER USE IN GARDEN AND PROFESSIONAL APPLICATIONS

OLEO-MAC BC241HC CIVILIZER HARVES 61379070E5 is a tool designed for a wide range of applications. It will work well in both home gardens and intensive professional work. Thanks to its design and technical parameters, the device is ideal for:

  • shaping and trimming hedges of thuyas, cypresses, yews, hornbeams, beeches or ligustrums,
  • formation of ornamental shrubs in representative gardens, at hotels and restaurants,
  • maintenance of greenery in residential areas, parks and roadsides,
  • keeping wild, heavily growing vegetation on the periphery of the property in check,
  • work in hard-to-reach areas where ordinary hand shears or small electric devices do not provide adequate reach.

For the individual user, this means the ability to do the work themselves, which previously required the hiring of a gardening team. For the professional - fast and precise execution of orders with high comfort and reproducible quality of service.

FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT OLEO-MAC BC241HC HEDGE TRIMMER

1. For which hedges the Oleo-Mac BC241HC shears are best suited?

The BC241HC is perfect for most popular hedges: thuyas, yews, ligustrum, hornbeam, beech, as well as ornamental shrubs. With a blade pitch of 35 mm, it can also cope with thicker, woody shoots found in older plantings.

2. Do you need a ladder to operate the shears?

With a 0.9m boom and a total unit length of up to 1.8m, most hedge work up to approx. 3-4 m can be made from ground level. In many cases, this eliminates the need for ladders, which increases safety and comfort.

3. How often should Oleo-Mac BC241HC shears be serviced?

Basic maintenance includes regular cleaning of air filters, checking and replenishing grease in the gearbox and sharpening the blades depending on the intensity of use. For typical seasonal home gardening work, an inspection once a year at an authorized service center is fully sufficient in most cases.

4. Are shears suitable for less experienced people?

Yes, provided you read the operating instructions and follow basic safety rules. The advanced ignition system makes it easy to start, while the anti-vibration system and adjustable handle make operation intuitive and comfortable even for those new to combustion equipment.

5. What are the main advantages of the BC241HC over traditional electric shears?

Compared to electric shears, the Oleo-Mac BC241HC offers more power, no power cord restriction, and a longer reach thanks to its extension arm. This makes it possible to work anywhere in the garden, including away from electrical outlets, and to cut tall and wide hedges quickly and efficiently.

6. What fuel to use in Oleo-Mac BC241HC shears?

A two-stroke engine requires a mixture of gasoline with the appropriate 2T engine oil in the ratio recommended by the manufacturer (see the owner's manual for information). Use of high quality oil and fresh gasoline ensures longer engine life and stable operation of the machine.
