Chain saw guide bar:

  • Length: 25 cm - 10"
  • Pitch: .1/4''x.050''
  • Guide link width: 1.3 mm
  • Number of cells: 58

What is a guide for chainsaws 10" - 25 cm .1/4 "x.050" 1.3 mm 50290032R?

Guide bar for chainsaws 10" - 25 cm .1/4 "x.050" 1.3 mm 50290032R is a high-quality working element of the chain saw, responsible for guiding the chain and maintaining its correct tension while cutting. This is an operational part that directly affects the comfort, precision and safety of the operator. The 25 cm (10") length used makes the guide ideal for both home and garden work, as well as lighter professional applications, such as tree care, firewood cutting and carpentry work.

The 50290032R is designed to provide smooth running of the pitch chain .1/4 "x.050" and a guide link width of 1.3 mm. Proper adjustment of these parameters minimizes cutting resistance, reduces wear on the saw's drive and extends the life of the entire cutting system. The guide is made of durable, properly hardened steel, resistant to deformation and overheating.

Installation of the guide 10" - 25 cm 50290032R - where and how to install it?

Guide 10" - 25 cm .1/4 "x.050" 1.3 mm 50290032R is mounted directly in the body of the chain saw, in place of the standard guide bar. Fits chainsaws designed to work with pitch chain .1/4" and with a guide link width of 1.3 mm and number of links 58. Before buying, it is worth comparing the markings on your existing bar and chain with the parameters of this model - this will ensure full compatibility and trouble-free installation.

The installation process involves removing the saw's side cover, releasing the chain tensioner, removing the old guide bar, and then installing the new guide bar along with the appropriate chain. The mounting holes of the guide were made with high precision, which guarantees stable seating on the mounting pins and proper interaction with the tensioner. After installing the chain, set the correct tension - the chain should adhere to the bar, but move freely with a slight pull by hand (with a protective glove).

Examples of installation applications:

  • Replacing a worn, bent or overheated guide bar on garden saws.
  • Selection of a shorter guide bar of 25 cm for increased maneuverability during branch cutting and crown maintenance work.
  • Upgrading an older chainsaw with a lighter and more precise pitch bar .1/4".

Application of the guide for chainsaws 10" - 25 cm .1/4 "x.050" 1.3 mm 50290032R in daily operation

Guide 10" - 25 cm .1/4 "x.050" 1.3 mm 50290032R is designed for users who want precision, convenience and safety from their chainsaw. The 25 cm length is optimal for precision work where tool control rather than maximum depth of cut is important. Pitch .1/4" and 1.3 mm guide link width promote smooth cutting, reducing vibration and jerking.

Typical application areas:

  • Work in the garden and on the plot - pruning and removal of branches, shaping of trees and shrubs, preparation of firewood in domestic conditions.
  • Carpentry and carpentry work - Cutting beams, boards, structural elements where accuracy and clean cutting is required.
  • Cleanup work after windstorms - Removal of fallen branches and smaller stumps, where a lightweight, handy chainsaw is important.

Thanks to the precise geometry of the guide groove and the appropriate number of links (58), the guide works with the chain in a stable way, reducing the risk of chain jumping or blocking. This facilitates smooth cutting of even harder wood, while reducing user fatigue during prolonged work.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

1. Will the 10" - 25 cm guide bar 50290032R fit my chainsaw?
The guide bar will fit if your chainsaw is designed to work with a pitch chain .1/4", guide link width 1.3 mm and number of links 58. It's a good idea to check these parameters in your chainsaw manual or on the markings of your old guide bar.

2. What kind of work is a 25 cm long guide best suited for??
The 25 cm (10") length is ideal for precision work - cutting branches, crown molding, preparing smaller diameter firewood, and carpentry and joinery work where accuracy and easy maneuverability of the saw are important.

3. Can I use this guide with any other chain than 1/4 "x.050" 1.3 mm 58 links?
It is not recommended. The guide is designed for a specific pitch, guide link width and number of links. Using a different chain may result in improper operation of the cutting system, excessive wear and tear, or even damage to the saw.

4. How to take care of the slide to serve as long as possible?
Regularly clean the bar groove of sawdust and debris, check for edge wear, rotate the bar (up/down) each time you replace or tension the chain, and use the proper chain lubricant oil. Avoid working with a dull chain, which accelerates the wear of the guide bar.

5. Is the 10" - 25 cm guide 50290032R suitable for professional use?
Yes, the guide can be used both by discerning home users and in lighter professional applications - such as gardeners, fruit growers and landscaping crews. In case of very intensive work, it should be checked regularly and combined with high-quality chains.
