Saw air filter 934-941 / GS 370 - GS 410 CX 50170036R

Saw air filter 934-941 / GS 370 - GS 410 CX 50170036R - maximum protection for your chainsaw engine

Saw air filter 937-941, GS 370-GS 410 CX

The 934-941/GS370-GS410CX chainsaw air filter 50170036R is a high-quality consumable part designed to protect the engine of 934-941 series chainsaws and GS 370 - GS 410 CX models. A properly selected and regularly replaced air filter ensures clean, filtered air supplied to the combustion chamber, which translates into full power, lower fuel consumption and longer life of the entire device.

This element is mounted in the upper part of the body of the saw, in a special air filter chamber, directly under the service cover. Its purpose is to trap wood dust, sawdust, dust and other contaminants generated during wood cutting, forestry or garden work. Robust construction and precise fit under part number 50170036R guarantee a tight intake system and proper carburetor operation even in very dusty environments.

The filter is used both in professional saws used by forestry and construction companies, and in equipment operated by demanding individual users - for preparing firewood, working on the allotment, backyard logging or cutting wooden structures. Replacing a worn or soiled filter with a new one, model 934-941/GS370-GS410CX 50170036R, restores the chainsaw's full performance, improves speed dynamics, reduces the risk of engine seizure, and allows you to work safely in all conditions.

What is the 934-941/GS370-GS410CX 50170036R chainsaw air filter and why is it so important?

Saw air filter 934-941/GS370-GS410CX 50170036R is a specialized filter cartridge designed for petrol chainsaws of a specific series and models. Its design is based on a durable, translucent plastic body, in which a filter medium of appropriately selected density is embedded. Such a design allows to effectively separate dust particles and dirt, without restricting the airflow necessary for proper combustion of the fuel-air mixture.

In practice, this means that the engine of your chainsaw gains optimal working conditions. Clean air translates into stable rpm, easier starting, better acceleration and reduced smoke. Importantly, the 50170036R filter also protects the delicate components of the intake system - primarily the cylinder, piston and rings. This reduces the risk of costly repairs, engine seizure or loss of compression due to contaminants entering the combustion chamber.

In the daily use of the chainsaw, the air filter acts as a kind of "protective shield" between the demanding, dusty environment and the precise mechanism of the two-stroke engine. Replacing a worn-out component with a new one model 934-941/GS370-GS410CX 50170036R is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to quickly refresh the machine's operation, so it's worth doing regularly - especially if you often cut dry, heavily dusty wood or work with sawn boards and squared timbers.

Where the air filter of the GS 370 - GS 410 CX 50170036R chainsaw is installed and how the replacement is done?

Air filter 934-941/GS370-GS410CX 50170036R is mounted in a standard place for chainsaws - in the filter chamber located just above the carburetor, under the top cover of the engine. When the cover is removed, the characteristic basket / filter cartridge is visible, usually fixed with a central screw or latch. The presented model has a central mounting hole, which facilitates its fast and secure seating, without the risk of leaks.

The replacement process is simple and can be done by yourself, even by a less experienced user:

  • unscrew or detach the top cover of the chainsaw,
  • remove the old, dirty air filter,
  • clean the filter chamber of accumulated sawdust and dust,
  • install the new filter 50170036R in the existing guides / hooks,
  • put on and tighten the cover, making sure it fits evenly.

Proper installation ensures full tightness of the system, so that the air drawn in by the carburetor passes only through the filter surface. Under everyday working conditions - such as during intensive firewood cutting, roof truss preparation or cleaning up a plot of land after a tree felling - this is of great importance. After all, even minor leaks can cause dust to enter the engine and accelerate wear and tear on its components.

Regularly checking the condition of the filter (e.g., at every refueling or every few hours of operation) and promptly replacing it with a new cartridge 934-941/GS370-GS410CX 50170036R is an easy way to keep your chainsaw in top working order for many seasons to come.

Application and compatibility of the 934-941 / GS370-GS410CX chainsaw air filter 50170036R

The presented air filter was designed specifically for selected 934-941 series petrol chainsaws and GS 370 - GS 410 CX models. Marking 50170036R allows you to accurately identify the part and match it to your device. This ensures that the user can be sure that the filter will perfectly match the dimensions, mounting method and capacity to the specific engine.

Applications of the filter include:

  • saws used in forestry - felling and limbing trees, logging and processing work,
  • construction applications - cutting structural elements, boards, beams and roof trusses on site,
  • garden and household work - preparing firewood, cleaning up the orchard, removing thick branches and stumps,
  • workshop use - cutting material for carpentry shops, small carpentry shops and service companies.

Whether the saw is used occasionally or daily in demanding conditions, the 934-941/GS370-GS410CX 50170036R air filter provides a consistent level of protection. For the user, this means less risk of failure at a critical time, more predictable operating costs, and the comfort of knowing that the engine is properly protected from contamination.

Quality, durability and reliability of the air filter 50170036R - benefits for the user

Saw air filter 934-941/GS370-GS410CX 50170036R is distinguished by careful workmanship with high-quality plastic, resistant to fuels, oils and typical saw vibrations. A rigid frame ensures stable shape retention even after many heating and cooling cycles, and a properly selected filter medium combines dirt-holding efficiency with good airflow.

Thus, the user gains:

  • lower operating costs - A properly functioning filter reduces fuel and oil consumption and reduces the risk of major, expensive engine repairs,
  • stable operation of the chainsaw - Easier startup, even rotation and full power utilization even for prolonged cutting,
  • longer life of the device - effective dust and sawdust filtration protects the cylinder, piston and rings from scratches and premature wear.

In practice, this manifests itself in everyday situations - the saw does not "choke" when heavily loaded, it does not lose power when cutting thick logs, and after prolonged use it still fires up smoothly. Replacing the filter with the proven 50170036R model is an investment in trouble-free operation of the equipment, which quickly pays off.

Air filter for 934-941/GS370-GS410CX chainsaw - easy maintenance and good usage practices

To realize the full potential of the 934-941/GS370-GS410CX 50170036R air filter, it is worth following a few simple maintenance rules. Regular inspection of the condition of the filter - for example, before each trip to the forest or before major construction work - allows you to assess whether the cartridge is excessively dirty, mechanically damaged or deformed.

If the filter is only slightly dusty, you can gently clean it from the top, being careful not to damage the structure of the filter material. In case of heavy soiling (when the surface is almost completely covered with dust and sawdust), it is recommended to replace it with a new one. This is especially important when the saw is working intensively - for example, when preparing wood for the heating season for days, or when constantly sawing boards in the workshop.

The use of an original-fit filter with the designation 50170036R guarantees that the engine performance will be as intended by the device manufacturer. This, in turn, translates into complete safety of use, compliance with service recommendations and maintenance of optimal saw performance for a long time.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. How often should you replace the air filter 934-941/GS370-GS410CX 50170036R?

The frequency of replacement depends on the intensity of work and environmental conditions. For occasional use in less dusty environments, it is a good idea to check the filter every few hours of operation and replace it at least once a season. For professional, daily cutting in the woods or on construction sites, it is recommended to inspect and replace more often whenever the filter is visibly dirty or restricts air flow.

2. How do I know that the 50170036R filter fits my chainsaw?

The easiest way is to compare the model designation of the saw with the compatibility information - the filter is designed for selected saws of the 934-941 series and GS 370 - GS 410 CX models. In addition, you can compare the shape, dimensions and mounting method with the filter you have been using so far. The use of a filter with part number 50170036R ensures a proper fit.

3. Can I clean the air filter instead of replacing it?

Minor superficial dirt can be carefully removed, but intensive blowing with compressed air or washing in solvents can damage the structure of the filter material and reduce its effectiveness. Due to the low price compared to the cost of engine repair, it is safer to replace the filter 934-941/GS370-GS410CX 50170036R with a new one as soon as it is heavily soiled.

4. What are the symptoms of a worn or clogged air filter in GS 370 - GS 410 CX chainsaws?

Typical symptoms include a drop in power, "throttling" of the saw when accelerating, difficulty starting, uneven idling, as well as increased fuel consumption and smoke. If you notice such symptoms, one of the first service steps should be to inspect and possibly replace the air filter with a new 50170036R.

5. Can using the wrong filter damage the saw?

Yes. A filter that is improperly sized or has too small a filter area may not provide adequate airflow or tightness in the intake system. As a result, the engine may run with an incorrect mixture, and impurities entering the cylinder will accelerate its wear and tear. Therefore, it is worth using a properly selected air filter 934-941/GS370-GS410CX 50170036R, dedicated to specific models of saws.
