Cutting chain for Oleo-Mac chainsaws : GSH 51, 510, 56, 560

Oleo-Mac 1.3 mm cutting chain .325" - what is this product and why you should choose it?

Oleo-Mac 1.3 mm cutting chain .325" 72 guide links 30629027C is the working element of a petrol or electric chainsaw, responsible for the actual cutting of the wood. It is along which the guide moves at high speed, and the sharp cutting teeth bite into the material. Original Oleo-Mac chain is made of high-quality, hardened steel, which ensures long life and stable operation even under heavy use.

The product has been matched in parameters to popular models of Oleo-Mac chainsaws, such as GSH 51, 510, 56 or 560. Pitch .325" and 1.3 mm guide link width make the chain combine high cutting aggressiveness with low drag, resulting in lower engine load and fuel consumption.

The most important advantage of this model is the semi-chisel cutting teeth. Their profile guarantees very good performance and speed of cutting while resisting dulling in more difficult conditions - for example, when cutting slightly dirty or frozen wood. It's the perfect compromise between professional speed and ease of keeping the chain sharp.

Application of Oleo-Mac 1.3 mm cutting chain .325" 72 links - the ideal choice for forest and garden work

Oleo-Mac 30629027C cutting chain will work well wherever fast and reliable wood cutting is needed. It is an excellent choice for both professional and home use:

  • Forestry work and firewood harvesting - pitch chain .325" and semi chisel teeth are great for heavy cutting of trunks, branches and thick branches. Allows efficient preparation of firewood, with less operator fatigue.
  • Garden and around-the-house work - pruning old fruit trees, removing dry branches, cleaning up after windstorms or cutting down volunteer trees becomes quick and convenient.
  • Structural cutting - In situations where you need to cut beams, columns or other solid wood components on a construction site or during carpentry work, the chain provides a clean, straight cut.

Thanks to the optimized 1.3 mm guide link width, the chain generates a smaller cut and therefore removes less material. In practice, this means faster operation, lower power requirements for the saw and lower fuel or electricity consumption. This is important for both daily operations at the company and at the home farm.

Oleo-Mac 30629027C cutting chain assembly - which saws it fits and how to select it?

OLEO-MAC 1.3 MM CUTTING CHAIN .325" 72 GUIDING BRIDGES 30629027C is designed to be mounted on guides dedicated to Oleo-Mac chainsaws. The chain works together m.in. with the following models of chainsaws:

  • Oleo-Mac GSH 51
  • Oleo-Mac 510
  • Oleo-Mac 56
  • Oleo-Mac 560

To select a chain correctly, you need to pay attention to three basic parameters:

  1. Chain pitch (.325") - must match the markings on the saw's guide bar and drive wheel. Pitch .the "325" is one of the most popular in the medium-power saws, offering a very good compromise between speed and operating culture.
  2. Guide link width (1.3 mm) - corresponds to the width of the groove in the guide. A chain that is too wide or too narrow will work unstably, risking damage to equipment and a drop in safety.
  3. Number of guide cells (72 pieces) - Decide on the length of the chain and match the specific length of the bar. In this model, it is an ideal configuration m.in. for the popular Oleo-Mac chainsaws listed above.

Installation of the chain is standard: after removing the side cover of the saw and loosening the tensioner, the chain is put on the sprocket and bar, taking care of the correct direction of the cutting teeth. Then the chain is tightened so that it adheres to the bar, but you can still lift it slightly with your hand. Proper tension is critical to chain life and user safety.

Oleo-Mac 1.3 mm cutting chain .325" 72 cells 30629027C - quality, durability and user safety

The original Oleo-Mac chain is distinguished by its high precision manufacturing and the use of proven technical solutions that affect the comfort and safety of work:

  • Semi-chisel type cutting teeth - their profile is designed to guarantee a high cutting performance on the one hand, and on the other - greater resistance to dulling and sharpening errors than in the case of full chisel (chisel) teeth. This keeps the chain sharper longer, which will be especially appreciated by users who make many cuts a day.
  • Stability of guidance in the cut - properly selected link width of 1.3 mm and geometry of guide links minimize vibration and "floating" of the chain in the wood. In practice, this means more accurate cuts, less risk of jamming, and greater operator comfort.
  • Hardened steel and solid rivets - Resistance to stretching and mechanical damage translates into long chain life. With proper use and regular sharpening, you can count on many seasons of efficient operation.

User safety is a priority. Properly shaped pit stops reduce the aggressiveness of the chain, reducing the tendency to bounce (kickback). Combined with the factory quality of the link and rivet assembly, you get a product that you can use with confidence both in a professional sawmill and in your garden.

User benefits - why Oleo-Mac chain 30629027C is an investment for years to come?

Selection of original Oleo-Mac 1.3 mm cutting chain .325" 72 cells offer a number of tangible benefits:

  • Higher productivity - Sharp semi-shear teeth and optimized chain geometry mean faster wood cutting, shorter working time and less strain on the operator.
  • Lower operating costs - less cutting resistance means lower fuel or energy consumption, less strain on the engine and slower wear on the guide bar. The chain stays sharp longer, reducing the frequency of sharpening.
  • Seamless compatibility with Oleo-Mac chainsaws - Buying an original product with the code 30629027C, you are assured of full compatibility with the marked models of saws, without the risk of problems with installation or improper operation.
  • Better cut quality - an even, smooth cut makes it easier to further process the wood, and when pruning trees, it reduces the area of injury, which is beneficial to their condition.
  • Trust in the brand - Oleo-Mac is a renowned manufacturer of garden and forestry equipment, which means strict quality control and attention to design details.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about Oleo-Mac 1.3 mm cutting chain .325" 72 cells 30629027C

1. Does this chain only fit Oleo-Mac chainsaws?
The chain was designed primarily for Oleo-Mac chainsaws (m.in. GSH 51, 510, 56, 560). It can also be used on other saws, as long as they have a guide bar with pitch .325", 1.3 mm groove width and require a 72-link guide chain. It's always a good idea to compare the parameters with the manual of your chainsaw.

2. How often should you sharpen your chain?
Sharpening frequency depends on the intensity and type of work. For typical home use, sharpening after several full tanks of fuel is usually sufficient. If you notice a decrease in cutting speed, increased vibration or fine dust instead of chips - this is a sign that the chain needs sharpening.

3. What is the difference between a half chisel tooth and a full chisel tooth?
The half chisel tooth has rounded cutting edges, making it more resistant to dirt (e.g. sand, soil in tree bark) and easier to sharpen. The full chisel tooth cuts more aggressively, but dulls faster and requires more precision when sharpening. Half chisel is an ideal compromise for most users.

4. How to check if the chain is properly tensioned?
Properly tensioned chain adheres to the bar, but it can be lifted slightly so that the ends of the guide links do not come completely out of the groove. A chain that is too loose can fall off the bar, and one that is too tight accelerates wear and stresses the chainsaw's bearings.

5. Does the chain need to be run-in after installation?
A new chain does not require special lapping, but it is recommended to run the first several minutes with a moderate load, regularly checking the chain tension. A new chain usually stretches slightly and needs re-tightening.

6. How to take care of a chain to make it last as long as possible?
Use the right oil for lubrication, avoid contact with the ground and stones, sharpen the teeth regularly with a file of the correct diameter, and check the tension. Store the chain in a dry place, preferably in its original packaging or in an oiled bag/eti.

7. Is it worth buying an original chain when there are cheaper replacements?
Genuine Oleo-Mac chain provides the best-matched link geometry for your specific chainsaw, higher durability and confidence in the quality of materials. In practice, this means less frequent chain changes, less wear and tear on the bar and motor, and greater operational safety - which often compensates for the higher purchase price.
