OLEO-MAC cutting chain 1.3 mm 3/8" 53 guide links 30629016C - professional cutting precision for your chainsaw

OLEO-MAC cutting chain 1.3 mm 3/8" 53 guide links 30629016C is an original, high-quality chain for petrol and electric chainsaws, designed for demanding home users, professional gardeners and municipal services. Thanks to its precision links, semi-cutting teeth and perfectly matched technical parameters, it guarantees fast, clean and safe wood cutting in all conditions.

What is the OLEO-MAC 30629016C cutting chain?
This is the working element of the saw responsible for the actual cutting of the wood. Made of hardened steel, consists of guide links, connecting links and cutting teeth. Model OLEO-MAC 1.3 mm 3/8" 53 guide links 30629016C has been precisely matched to the guides and drive system of Oleo-Mac saws, ensuring optimum performance and durability of the entire cutting kit.

Where the OLEO-MAC 1.3 mm 3/8" 53 guide link cutting chain is mounted?
The chain is mounted on the saw guide bar and drive wheel. This particular model is designed for Oleo-Mac chainsaws:

  • GS 371
  • GSH 40
  • GSH 400

When properly installed on the bar and properly tensioned, the chain works with the chainsaw's lubrication system to ensure smooth operation, less wear and tear, and user safety.

Application of OLEO-MAC cutting chain 30629016C
The chain is designed for a wide range of work:

  • household work - cutting firewood, trimming branches, preparing firewood,
  • horticultural and orchard work - tree care, branch pruning, crown correction,
  • forestry and utility work - removal of fallen trees, cleanup work after windstorms, cutting structural timber in the field.

OLEO-MAC cutting chain 1.3 mm 3/8" 53 links - precise cutting and full control of the saw

1. Optimal 3/8" pitch - versatility and smooth operation
The 3/8" pitch is one of the most popular solutions in garden and semi-professional saws. It provides an excellent compromise between cutting speed and operating culture. With this, the chain:

  • allows fast cutting of both thin branches and thicker logs,
  • reduces saw vibration, resulting in less operator fatigue,
  • provides better control of the cutting path - especially important for precision pruning of fruit trees and crown molding.

In everyday use, this means that you can easily trim trees on the plot, prepare firewood or handle cleanup after high winds without having to reach for several different chains.

2. Narrow 1.3 mm chain - less resistance, faster cutting
Groove width of 1.3 mm translates into narrower cutting gap. For the user, this means:

  • less resistance as the chain sinks into the wood,
  • lower fuel or electricity consumption,
  • faster operation without "jerking" or dropping the speed of the saw.

In practice, you will feel it when cutting more wood - for example, preparing several cubic meters of firewood. The saw will be less stressed and you will get more work done in less time, saving fuel and reducing wear and tear on the machine itself.

3. 53 guide links - perfect fit for the guide bar
Chain length expressed in number of 53 leading links has been precisely matched to compatible Oleo-Mac saws and guides. With this:

  • the chain can be quickly and securely installed without reworking or shortening,
  • the correct geometry of the cutting set is maintained - the chain stably "sits" in the groove of the bar,
  • there is a reduced risk of the chain falling off when the tension is correct.

This is especially important if you often work in the field - in the forest, orchard or on a vast property. Correct chain length increases safety, reduces downtime and minimizes the risk of costly damage to the bar or sprocket.

Durable half chisel teeth - high cutting performance with less effort

1. Half-chisel type cutting teeth - the ideal compromise between speed and sharpness
The chain is equipped with cutting teeth of a half-snapshot type, which combine the advantages of chisel and rounded teeth. This design makes:

  • the chain handles both softer and harder wood very well,
  • maintains sharpness for a longer period of time, even with occasional contact with soiled material,
  • is easier to sharpen than a full chisel - all you need is a standard round file and guide.

During gardening and backyard work, we often cut wood with residual bark, sand or leftover soil. Semi-chisel teeth are more resistant to such conditions than aggressive full-chisel chains, which significantly extends the period between sharpenings.

2. Stable tooth geometry - clean and even cuts
Precisely shaped teeth ensure even loss of material during cutting. With this:

  • the cutting surface is smooth and even - especially important in carpentry and in the preparation of construction material,
  • the saw does not "pull" sideways, which increases the safety of work,
  • it is easier to make accurate cuts to size when building gazebos, sheds, fences or other wooden structures.

3. Comfort of sharpening and service
The teeth of the half chisel are suitable for manual sharpening with a file. This means you don't have to visit a service center every time - with a little practice, you can restore full sharpness to the chain yourself. This is a real time and money saver, especially for those who regularly work with a chainsaw.

Original OLEO-MAC chain 30629016C - reliability and safety in all conditions

1. Original EMAK product - guarantee of quality and compatibility
Buying a genuine Oleo-Mac chain means you can be sure that all parameters - from length and pitch to tooth shape - have been matched to your chainsaw. With this:

  • installation problems and incorrect tension are avoided,
  • the risk of damage to the guide or drive wheels is reduced,
  • the saw retains the factory performance and safety features provided by the manufacturer.

For the user, this means working with peace of mind both at home and on service assignments - without worrying about unexpected failures.

2. High durability of components - lower operating costs
The chain was made of high-quality steel, hardened by industrial processes. Durable rivets and links provide tensile and wear resistance, which translates into:

  • longer life of a single chain,
  • less frequent need to purchase new cutting elements,
  • trouble-free operation even when the saw is used intensively.

If you frequently prepare firewood, do tree care or run a service business, the extended chain life will realistically reduce your equipment operating costs.

3. Work safety - stable chain guidance
A well-chosen and properly tensioned chain reduces the risk of kickback and falling off the bar. Combined with the saw's factory safety features, this translates into a high level of safety:

  • less chance of sudden chain blockage,
  • stable run on the guide bar even when cutting harder woods,
  • safer operation for less experienced users.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about OLEO-MAC 1.3 mm 3/8" 53 link chain 30629016C

1. For which chainsaws this chain fits?
The chain was designed for Oleo-Mac chainsaws: GS 371, GSH 40 and GSH 400. It may also fit other models with identical pitch, groove width and number of links - in which case it is always a good idea to compare the parameters with the saw's manual.

2. How to check if the chain will be suitable for my chainsaw?
Three main parameters should be noted: pitch (3/8"),guide groove width (1.3 mm) and number of guide cells (53). This information is usually found on the guide bar or in the saw's manual.

3. How often do you need to sharpen this chain?
The frequency of sharpening depends on the intensity of use and the type of wood being cut. For typical backyard work, sharpening every few full days of operation is usually sufficient. When you notice a decrease in cutting speed or fine dust instead of chips - this is a sign that the chain needs sharpening.

4. Can I sharpen the chain myself?
Yes. The half chisel type teeth are suitable for manual sharpening with a round file of the appropriate diameter. Using a guide will make it easier to maintain the correct sharpening angle. If you're inexperienced, it's a good idea to have a service technician do your first sharpening and ask for guidance.

5. How to properly tension a chain?
Properly tensioned chain should adhere to the guide bar, but allow itself to be pulled back a few millimeters so that the ends of the guide links do not come completely out of the groove. After each installation or replacement of the chain, it should be tightened after a short test run, as the new chain tends to elongate slightly.

6. Is this chain suitable for cutting very hard woods?
The chain is designed to work in both softer and harder woods. However, when intensively cutting extremely hard species (e.g., oak, hornbeam), it is necessary to check the sharpness of the teeth more often and ensure proper lubrication and cooling through the right amount of chain oil.

7. Is this an original Oleo-Mac product?
Yes, model 30629016C is an original Oleo-Mac/EMAK chain, marked with the correct catalog code and EAN number, which guarantees full compatibility and high quality workmanship.
