What is Oleo-Mac 1.3 mm 3/8" 52 guide link cutting chain 30629015C?

Oleo-Mac 1.3 mm 3/8" 52 guide links 30629015C cutting chain is a key working component of a petrol chainsaw, responsible for efficient and precise cutting of wood. It is an original product of a reputable manufacturer, made of high-quality, hardened steel with increased resistance to abrasion and stretching. The semi-shear type cutting teeth combine high cutting aggressiveness with good resistance to dulling, making the chain suitable for both dry and lightly soiled timber.

Thanks to careful manufacturing, precise riveting and optimal link spacing, the chain ensures smooth operation, reduces saw vibration and improves operator comfort and safety. It's a solution dedicated to those who expect consistent, repeatable cutting quality from their equipment while reducing operating costs.

Where the Oleo-Mac 1.3 mm 3/8" 52 guide link chain 30629015C is mounted?

Cutting chain 30629015C installs on the bar of Oleo-Mac GST 360 petrol chainsaw. The chain design is fully compatible with the factory parameters of this saw - both in terms of length (52 guide links), groove width (1.3 mm) and 3/8" pitch. Proper matching of these parameters is crucial for the safety and life of the entire cutting system.

Installation involves the standard installation of the chain on the sprocket and guide bar, and then setting the correct tension. Thanks to the precise design of the drive links, the chain runs stably in the groove of the bar, minimizing the risk of jumping out during operation. The use of genuine Oleo-Mac chain eliminates problems common to cheaper substitutes, such as too loose a fit with the bar or rapid chain elongation.

In practice, this means that the chain is ideal for:

  • oleo-Mac GST 360 chainsaw used in the care of trees, orchards and gardens,
  • work on an aerial lift or in the treetops by arborists,
  • service applications - as replacement chain for periodic maintenance of GST 360 saws.

Application of Oleo-Mac 1.3 mm 3/8" 52-link chain - precision in the garden, orchard and forest

Oleo-Mac 30629015C cutting chain is designed for a wide range of woodworking applications. Thanks to the specific geometry of the half-slit teeth, it provides a very good balance between cutting speed and surface quality after cutting. Such a solution is especially appreciated by those who need precise and clean cuts in hard-to-reach places.

Examples of applications in daily work:

  • Care of trees in the garden and on the property - shortening of branches, removal of dry branches, crown shaping of ornamental and fruit trees.
  • Work in orchards and tree nurseries - fast, repeatable cuts for tree clearance, cutting out diseased branches, preparing wood material for chipping.
  • Preparation of firewood - cutting of thin and medium branches into firewood sections, cleaning up the area after felling.
  • Professional forestry and arborist services - Working at height, removing dangerous branches over power lines or buildings, where a lightweight saw and reliable chain are important.

The chain handles both soft coniferous wood (spruce, pine) and harder hardwoods (oak, beech, hornbeam) well, provided it is properly sharpened and lubricated. This makes it a versatile tool for the user who needs one proven solution for most work around the house and in the field.

Oleo-Mac GST 360 1.3 mm 3/8" cutting chain - quality, durability and convenience of use

Genuine Oleo-Mac GST 360 1.3 mm 3/8" 52 guide links cutting chain is designed to maximize the life of the saw's cutting system while maintaining high speed and smoothness of cut. The manufacturer uses high-grade steel with controlled hardness, and the process of hardening and grinding the teeth ensures that the chain stays sharp longer, which directly translates into less effort when working.

Key user benefits:

  • High durability and wear resistance - Hardened links and half-hollow teeth designed to work in variable conditions (dry, wet, fine dirt in the wood).
  • Comfort and safety - Reduced tendency to bounce (kickback) and smooth operation on the slide reduce operator fatigue and the risk of accidents.
  • Lower operating costs - longer sharpness retention and limited chain elongation means less frequent sharpening and less frequent replacements, saving time and money.
  • Consistent, high quality cutting - Ideal for work requiring precision, such as in arboriculture, ornamental tree care, facade and roof work.

For example, when regularly tending a garden of several acres with fruit and coniferous trees, a properly operated Oleo-Mac 30629015C chain can serve for an entire season, providing repeatable quality and speed of cutting, without the need for frequent replacement or intensive servicing.

By opting for the original Oleo-Mac 1.3 mm 3/8" 52 guide link cutting chain 30629015C, you are investing in the safety and reliability of your tool. The use of dedicated spare parts is especially important for lightweight chainsaws for work at height, such as the GST 360, where any uncontrolled movement or failure can have serious consequences.

The original chain provides:

  • Full compatibility with the saw - No fitting problems, proper lubrication and cooperation with the guide.
  • Optimum performance - Chain speed, depth and shape of cut adapted to the engine characteristics of the GST 360 chainsaw.
  • Hassle-free installation - Intuitive chain insertion, even tensioning and stable running in the bar groove.

How to extend the life of Oleo-Mac 1.3 mm 3/8" 52-link chain?

To realize the full potential of the 30629015C cutting chain, it is worth following a few simple operating rules:

  • Proper lubrication - use high quality chain oil and check the oil level in the chain saw tank; a dry chain heats up and wears out faster.
  • Proper tension - the chain should not hang from the bar, but must be able to be moved freely with a gloved hand; too much tension accelerates wear and tear.
  • Regular sharpening - Sharpen the cutting teeth according to the recommended angle, using files and sharpening tools; a dull chain increases engine load and fuel consumption.
  • Avoiding contaminated wood - Sand, soil or stones in the roots and trunks greatly accelerate the blunting of teeth.

Following these rules will allow you to significantly extend the life of your chain, while maintaining a high level of cutting comfort and operational safety.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about Oleo-Mac 1.3 mm 3/8" 52 guide link chain 30629015C

Question 1: Does this chain fit other chainsaws than the Oleo-Mac GST 360?

The chain was designed primarily for the Oleo-Mac GST 360 chainsaw. It can also fit other models and brands if they use the same combination of parameters: 3/8" pitch, 1.3 mm groove width and 52 guide links. However, you should always check the specifications of your guide bar and saw before you buy it.

Question 2: How to recognize that the chain needs sharpening?

Sharpening is evidenced by m.in.: increased cutting effort, fine dusty chips instead of long chips, tendency for the saw to "jump" on the wood, and a marked decrease in operating speed. In such a situation, sharpen the chain according to the manufacturer's recommendations or have it done by a service center.

Question 3: Is the half chisel type chain suitable for dirty wood?

Half chisel teeth are more resistant to dulling than full chisel, so they withstand contact with lightly soiled wood better than aggressive "full chisel" chains. However, it is still recommended to avoid cutting wood with sand or stones, so as not to unnecessarily shorten the life of the chain.

Question 4: How often should you replace the chain with a new one?

Frequency of replacement depends on the intensity of work and use. The chain needs to be replaced when, despite proper sharpening, the teeth are already too short, the chain has excessively elongated or visible damage has appeared (cracks, chipping, bent links). In amateur applications, one-two chains per season are often sufficient, in professional applications - even several sets per month.

Question 5: Is the chain supplied in its original packaging?

Yes, the Oleo-Mac 1.3mm 3/8" 52 guide link cutting chain 30629015C comes in the original manufacturer's branded box for easy storage and to protect the chain from damage and dirt in transit.
