Dry branch pruner, head for Fiskars OneClick system 1080702
- Fiskars OneClick 1080702 professional anvil pruner head for dry, hard branches. Interchangeable "click" attachment, high cutting power, durable steel and ergonomic design for intensive garden work.
Dry branch cutter, head for Fiskars OneClick system 1080702 is a professional cutting head designed for cutting dry and hard branches in the crown of trees and shrubs. It belongs to the innovative Fiskars OneClick series of gardening tools, in which all working tips can be quickly and conveniently exchanged, adapting the tool to the current needs of garden care.
Model 1080702 is an anvil pruner head. This type of design is especially recommended for pruning old, woody branches - the blade presses them against a wide anvil, which provides very high cutting power and effective removal of even hard, dry shoots. This makes the work much easier and less tiring, and the trees and shrubs gain a healthy, aesthetically pleasing habit.
The head is mounted on a compatible handle of the Fiskars OneClick system. Thanks to a special connector, it takes just one click to attach or replace the working tip - without tools, quickly and safely. This solution allows you to use one handle for multiple accessories (e.g., brushes, rakes, other cutting heads), saving space in your garden storage and reducing the cost of purchasing equipment.
Fiskars OneClick pruner head 1080702 - maximum cutting power for dry and hard branches

The Fiskars OneClick 1080702 head is designed to work with dry and hard branches that ordinary pruning shears often "bite" with difficulty. The anvil mechanism ensures that the force of the blade is concentrated on a small area, allowing the user to effectively cut old, woody sections of trees and shrubs without tugging or excessive effort.
Thanks to the special geometry of the blade and anvil and the solid guidance of the head, the cut is precise and controlled. The user can determine exactly where to cut off the branches, which is important for both the health of the plants and their final appearance. In combination with the OneClick system handle, the tool is great for clear-cutting fruit tree crowns, rejuvenating old shrubs or removing dry branches from hedges.
Examples of daily applications:
- precise pruning of dry and old branches of apple, plum, pear and other fruit trees,
- removal of woody shoots from ornamental shrubs (ligustrum, barberry, forsythia, lilac),
- tidying up of hedgerows where dead or diseased branches have appeared that require strong pruning.
Fiskars OneClick system - quick installation of the secateurs head for dry branches

The 1080702 dry branch pruner is an interchangeable head that is part of the Fiskars OneClick modular system. This means that instead of buying separate, full-size tools, just get a universal handle and a set of bits - each assembled with one sure click. This solution provides exceptional convenience of use and order in the home workshop.
Installation of the head is intuitive:
- Set the handle of the OneClick system in the working position.
- Apply the tip of the secateurs to the connector socket.
- When properly seated, a characteristic "click" is heard, indicating that the head is securely locked in place.
No need for additional tools, screws or wrenches significantly saves time. In seconds, you can change the cutting tip to another system head - such as an all-purpose brush or flower rake - and continue cleaning up your garden.
Examples of daily use of the OneClick system:
- quickly switch from cutting dry branches to sweeping the terrace by swapping the secateurs' head for a brush head,
- working at different heights - the same pruner head can be used with a shorter or longer handle, depending on the type of planting,
- easy to transport and store - take a supply of tips and only one handle into the car or small tool house.
Fiskars quality - durable materials and ergonomics of OneClick pruner head 1080702

The head for the Fiskars OneClick system is made of high-quality materials - durable steel and damage-resistant plastic. Components are designed to withstand the heavy loads created when cutting hard, dry branches. Spring-loaded mechanism and guide elements ensure smooth operation and long tool life when used properly.
The predominant color scheme of black and distinctive Fiskars orange is not just an aesthetic endeavor - it makes it easier to quickly find the tool in the grass, in flower beds or in a cluttered storage area. Ergonomic head design, properly contoured gripping elements and logical control cable routing translate into comfort even during longer pruning sessions.
Examples of situations in which you will appreciate the quality and ergonomics:
- intensive spring cutting of old fruit trees - the head endures heavy loads, and the cutting mechanism remains smooth,
- cleaning up a neglected plot with a lot of dead branches - durable materials protect the tool from rapid wear,
- working in dense plantings - the compact form of the head makes it easy to maneuver between branches and guide the cut with precision.
Safety and convenience of the Fiskars OneClick dry branch pruner

Garden pruner for dry branches, OneClick head 1080702 is a product for home use, designed with user safety standards in mind. The sharp blade allows for precise cutting, so the manufacturer recommends using protective gloves and keeping the tool out of the reach of children.
The mechanism of the secateurs allows for controlled, directed cutting. This allows the user to work at a safe distance from the cut branch (especially in combination with a sufficiently long handle), minimizing the risk of injury or falling of broken shoots. The head design and cutting guide also help to avoid uncontrolled "skipping" of the blade across the wood surface.
Examples of application with emphasis on safety:
- pruning taller branches without having to climb a ladder - when combined with the long handle of the OneClick system,
- working near fences and buildings, where controlling the direction of the cut is particularly important,
- cleaning up trees and shrubs along garden paths, terraces and playgrounds.

3. Can secateurs handle thick branches?
With its anvil mechanism and gearing to increase cutting power, the 1080702 head handles tough, dry branches much better than classic hand pruners.
