Fiskars OneClick 14-tine soil rake - use in daily garden care
Metal soil rake with 14 tines is an extremely versatile tool, which will work well for many jobs around the house and on the plot. Thanks to the proper spacing and shape of the tines, the head works effectively in both light and medium-heavy soil.
Key applications:
- Loosening and aerating the soil - Before sowing grass, vegetables or planting ornamental plants. The rake breaks up clods of soil, improves the structure of the ground and makes it easier for the roots to get air and water.
- Leveling the surface of flowerbeds and beds - after digging the soil or applying compost, you can precisely smooth the surface, which will facilitate even sowing of seeds and improve the aesthetics of the garden.
- Removal of stones, twigs and plant debris - The teeth of the rake effectively "catch" small obstacles from the soil, leaving it clean and ready for further work.
- Distribution of compost and fertilizers - Ideal for evenly spreading a layer of compost or manure over the entire surface of the bed.
Examples of daily use:
- During preparing the vegetable garden in the spring, after digging the soil with a spade, you use a soil rake to break up the larger clods and level the ground - this way the seeds of carrots or radishes go into perfectly prepared soil.
- When establishing a new flower bed you spread the compost and soil mixture, and then level the surface with a rake so that the seedlings have even access to nutrients.
- After an intense downpour the rake helps level out small irregularities formed on the soil surface, improving drainage and preventing stagnation.
