The FISKARS 1079964 (Functional Form) Flipping Spatula is a high-quality kitchen spatula designed for convenient, fast and safe flipping of food in the pan. It is ideal for everyday cooking - from tender fish fillets and vegetables, to pancakes and omelets, to chops or burgers. Thanks to its perforated working surface, it efficiently drains excess fat, and the flexible silicone edges allow safe maneuvering even on non-stick pans.
The spatula is made of durable fiberglass-reinforced plastic and features silicone edges for high temperature resistance (up to approx. 220°C) and long product life. The ergonomic shape of the handle and light weight make the spatula comfortable to use for both right- and left-handed people. A practical hole in the handle makes it convenient to hang the spatula on a kitchen rail.
The use of FISKARS spatula 1079964 is extremely wide. Great for a modern home kitchen, a small catering business, a food truck or the kitchen of a rental apartment. It's the perfect choice for those who appreciate the combination of functionality, aesthetics and reliability, and are concerned about the safety of their non-stick cookware. Dishwasher-safe makes it significantly easier to keep the accessory impeccably clean, saving time after the cooking is done.
FISKARS 1079964 flipping spatula does not require assembly in the traditional sense - it is ready to use right out of the package. Its slim design and handle opening allow for convenient storage: it can be hung on a rail, hook under a cabinet or stored in a drawer with other kitchen utensils. Thanks to its thoughtful length (approx. 29.5 cm) provides a safe distance between your hand and the heated surface of the pan.
This practical kitchen tool will be appreciated by anyone who enjoys cooking - both the novice cook and the experienced culinary enthusiast. FISKARS Spatula 1079964 guarantees precise flipping of food without tearing it, reduces the risk of burning thanks to convenient maneuvering and allows to maintain the aesthetic appearance of served dishes.
FISKARS Flipping Spatula 1079964 - ergonomics, safety and cooking comfort

The ergonomic shape of the FISKARS 1079964 spatula is designed to make working in the kitchen as comfortable as possible. The long, contoured handle allows a firm grip and a safe distance between your hand and the hot pan, which is especially important when frying in deeper fat. Lightweight design (approx. 60 g) reduces hand fatigue even during prolonged cooking. This is perfect for people who often fry larger quantities of food - such as family portions of pancakes or cutlets.
The safety of use has been further enhanced by the use of heat-resistant plastic - the spatula retains its properties up to about 220°C. This means that it can be used on most household pans and saucepans without fear, without the risk of melting or warping. This makes it suitable for both quick sautéing of vegetables in a wok skillet and long-term frying of meats.
A practical hole at the end of the handle makes it convenient to hang the spatula on a hook or wall rail. This allows you to save drawer space, keep your kitchen worktop tidy and have a tool always at hand. This solution will be especially appreciated by users of smaller kitchens, where every centimeter of space is at a premium.
FISKARS Functional Form 1079964 - soft silicone edges and non-stick coating protection

One of the biggest advantages of the FISKARS 1079964 spatula is the flexible orange edges made of silicone. Thanks to them, the spatula precisely adapts to the shape of the dish, allowing it to "go under" the food even with rounded sides of the pan. This makes it easier to flip delicate ingredients - like fish, fried eggs, vegetable pancakes - without them falling apart. Perforated head effectively drains excess fat and sauce while lifting the dish.
Soft silicone edges protect the surface of pans with Teflon, ceramic or other types of non-stick coatings from scratching. As a result, you can confidently use the spatula on expensive branded cookware without worrying about losing its non-stick properties. This is a huge benefit for users who invest in high-quality pots and pans, as properly selected accessories significantly extend their life.
In everyday use, the silicone edges also make it easier to scrape leftover sauce or batter from the surface of the dish, making the spatula useful not only for frying, but also for serving finished dishes. It can be used to conveniently transfer, for example, pieces of salmon, schnitzel, turkey steaks or stir-fry vegetables from the pan to the plate, maintaining the aesthetic appearance of the portion.
Versatile use of FISKARS 1079964 flipping spatula in home and professional kitchens
The FISKARS Functional Form Spatula 1079964 is designed to be as versatile a tool as possible. The wide head (approx. 8.9 cm) combined with the length of the working part (approx. 12 cm) allows you to conveniently turn over both small and larger pieces of food. It is perfect for preparation:
- pancakes, pancakes and omelets - the wide, flat working part slides under the pancake, minimizing the risk of breaking it,
- fish fillets and tender meat - the stable support of the spatula allows careful turning without the portions falling apart,
- chops, burgers and meat slices - the perforated head allows excess fat to drain away, making the dish lighter and healthier,
- skillet vegetables, asparagus, grilled zucchini slices or eggplant,
- fried eggs, vegetable pancakes, fried cheese or tofu.
Thanks to its design, the spatula also works well in kitchens of a more professional nature - in small catering establishments, guesthouses, food trucks or event kitchens. Its light weight and balance allow for quick, serial turning of more portions, which translates into efficient guest service. At the same time, the modern black and orange design fits well with the aesthetics of open kitchens and kitchenettes in rental apartments.
The FISKARS 1079964 spatula is a universal tool also because it fits comfortably in the hand of both right- and left-handed people. The lack of asymmetrical contours and the simple shape of the handle make it possible for each user to intuitively adjust the grip to their own preferences. This is especially important in a family kitchen, where one set of utensils is used by several people.
Easy care and durable materials - FISKARS spatula 1079964 for years to come
Making the spatula out of high-quality fiberglass-reinforced plastic ensures that it is highly durable while remaining lightweight. The material is resistant to mechanical damage typical of working in the kitchen - such as bumping against the edge of a pan or pot, dropping it on the countertop or accidentally pinching it with other accessories in the drawer. In addition, silicone edges maintain flexibility and shape, not deforming at high temperatures.
The spatula can be washed in the dishwasher without any problems, which makes daily use much easier. When finished cooking, simply place it in the cutlery basket or on the top shelf of the dishwasher. The material does not absorb odors and is resistant to typical kitchen detergents. It saves a lot of time - no need to scrub dried sauces or grease by hand.
The black color, combined with orange accents, not only gives the spatula a modern look, but is also very practical: the dark surface is less likely to show minor discoloration or scratches from daily use. As a result, the spatula looks aesthetically pleasing for a long time - which is important both in home kitchens and in open kitchen spaces in catering establishments.
