CHAMPION RCJ7Y R101155 IGNITION CANDLER - reliable ignition for chainsaws, scythes and garden equipment

CHAMPION RCJ7Y R101155 spark plug is a high-quality component designed specifically for two-stroke internal combustion engines used in chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, soilers and other garden equipment. Thanks to its robust design, precise thread dimensions and properly selected thermal characteristics, the plug ensures reliable ignition of the fuel-air mixture, easier engine starting and stable operation under load. It is an ideal choice for both home users and professional gardening companies and services.

What is a CHAMPION RCJ7Y R101155 spark plug and how it works?

CHAMPION RCJ7Y R101155 spark plug is an ignition system component responsible for creating an electric spark inside the combustion chamber of a two-stroke engine. This spark ignites the mixture of fuel and air so that the engine can operate with sufficient power and culture. High-quality electrodes, ceramics with increased heat resistance and carefully selected electrode spacing of 0.7 mm make the candle maintain stable ignition parameters for a long time of use.

In practice, this means easier starting even after a long shutdown, less risk of "flooding" the spark plug, reduced engine intermittency, and more even idle operation. It's a small component that has a huge impact on the comfort of your chainsaw, lawnmower, leaf blower or other gardening equipment.

Champion RCJ7Y spark plug - wide application in garden equipment

The Champion RCJ7Y spark plug was developed for two-stroke internal combustion engines that operate in demanding conditions - dust, vibration, varying loads. The use of this type of candle makes it possible to increase the reliability of equipment operation and reduce interruptions caused by ignition problems.

Examples of daily applications:

  • Chainsaws - stable ignition allows the saw to start faster when cutting firewood or cleaning up in the orchard.
  • Lawnmowers and trimmers - even engine operation translates into smooth mowing of grass and brush without "choking" at high speed.
  • Leaf blowers and vacuum cleaners - sure start after a few strokes of the cable and maintain rotation even in prolonged autumn work.
  • Rake, scarifiers and other garden machinery - Reduced downtime during soil loosening or lawn preparation.

With its use in most common gardening tools, the Champion RCJ7Y candle is a convenient, versatile choice - just have it in the workshop as a spare part to quickly get your equipment back on the road in case of ignition problems.

Champion spark plug RCJ7Y R101155 - quality, durability and reliability for every season

The Champion brand has long been associated with robust spark plugs for internal combustion engines. Model RCJ7Y R101155 is distinguished by its durable construction and high resistance to temperature and mechanical loads. The insulator's ceramic effectively dissipates heat and prevents punctures, and the properly selected thermal range of the candle minimizes the risk of carbon build-up.

In everyday use, this means:

  • longer service life - Less frequent need to replace the candle, which saves time and money,
  • reliable start - easier startup especially after winter break,
  • stable engine power - Better gas response and less risk of stalling under load.

In addition, the appropriately sized electrode spacing of 0.7 mm ensures optimal spark in two-stroke engines, which translates into more efficient combustion of the mixture and can help reduce fuel consumption and the amount of smoke.

Compatibility and replacement of CHAMPION RCJ7Y candle - easy selection in service

One of the key advantages of the CHAMPION RCJ7Y R101155 candle is the large number of equivalents available from other brands. This makes it easier to select a product when replacing it in service or in your own workshop. If one of the following symbols appears in the manual or on the old plug, RCJ7Y will be the correct replacement.

Candle counterpart:

Brand Candle model
Oregon O-PR17Y
Husqvarna HQT-1
NGK BPMR7A
Bosch WSR7F
Brisk PR17YC
Torch L7RTC

Yes. In most gardening equipment, replacing the candle is simple and can be done by yourself. Simply disconnect the ignition cable pipe, unscrew the old spark plug with a 19 mm wrench, check the condition of the socket and screw in the new plug by hand, then tighten slightly with a wrench (according to the manufacturer's recommendations). Finally, connect the pipe of the cable. Remember to perform this activity with the engine turned off and cooled down.

4. What is the electrode spacing of the Champion RCJ7Y candle?

The factory electrode spacing of the Champion RCJ7Y candle is 0.7 mm. This is the optimum value for most two-stroke horticultural engines. If necessary, it can be checked with a gap gauge and gently corrected, sticking to the recommendations in the engine manual.

5. What's the difference between Champion RCJ7Y candle and cheaper no-name replacements?

Candles from reputable brands, such as Champion, are characterized by better quality materials, more accurate manufacturing and more stable thermal performance. This translates into more reliable ignition, less susceptibility to damage, longer life, and less risk of sudden engine starting problems.
