Lawn pruner IART1224 - description and operation
What is a 12 volt IART 1224 lawn pruner OB-IKRIART1224?
This is a modern cordless grass trimmer, which allows you to quickly and accurately level places that a traditional lawn mower can not reach: at curbs, walls, fences, around garden landscaping elements and in narrow gaps between plants. Replaces the classic line trimmer, offering simpler attachment installation and less susceptibility to tangles or stripping of the line.
Where you "mount" and how you use the IART 1224 trimmer?
The device is fully portable - no permanent installation required. The 12-volt battery pack is placed in the slot on the handle. Split handle tube allows you to quickly fold the trimmer for transport or storage. Before working, connect the two parts of the pipe, adjust the convenient position of the main handle (4-stage adjustment) and adjust the position of the auxiliary handle. Then slide the nylon blade into the cutting head and the device is ready to use.
Application of the 12-volt IART 1224 OB-IKRIART1224 lawn pruner includes primarily:
- trimming the grass along curbs, fences, walls, lawn edges;
- leveling the grass around trees, shrubs, pots and decorative elements;
- cleaning up the edges of paths, driveways, terraces and sidewalks;
- maintenance work in small gardens, on ROD plots and around summer houses;
- minor finishing work after mowing with a traditional mower or tractor.

IART 1224 12-volt TRIMMER - convenience and lightness of work in any garden
The 12-volt IART 1224 lawn pruner is designed for people who value convenience, low weight and freedom of movement. The weight of the device with battery is only 1.5 kg, so the trimmer can also be easily handled by the elderly or users with smaller stature. No power cord eliminates the risk of cutting it and the need to constantly rewire the extension cord.
The versatile nature of the device makes it ideal for both small urban gardens and larger recreational plots. It usually takes several dozen to several dozen minutes to do the basic finishing work after mowing the lawn, therefore working time up to 60 minutes allows you to successfully complete all tasks in one cycle, without recharging the battery.
Balanced design and ergonomic soft plastic handle minimize stress on wrists and shoulders. As a result, even longer work sessions do not cause excessive fatigue, and precise guidance of the cutting head along the edge of the lawn is much easier.

Cutting system with nylon blade - precision, safety and easy replacement
The IART 1224 trimmer uses nylon blade instead of classic fishing line. Such a solution ensures high cutting efficiency while reducing the risk of damage to surfaces in the vicinity of the work site - such as paving blocks, edges, fence elements or tree trunks.
The set includes 20 spare nylon blades, which makes the user get a set sufficient for many mowing cycles, without the need to frequently purchase additional accessories. Replacement of blades is quick and intuitive - just disconnect the worn out element and in its place plug in a new blade, without the need to rewind and trim the line.
In practice, this means:
- saving time when preparing the device for operation,
- less risk of entanglement or blockage of the cutting system,
- stable cutting quality throughout the life of a single blade.
The nylon blade system is perfect for cutting grass around flowerbeds, along paths strewn with grit or gravel, where a tool that is too aggressive could scatter pebbles. This is also a good solution for lawn care in yards where children often play - the risk of accidental contact with a hard metal knife is greatly reduced here.

Adjustable handles and split tube - ergonomics and easy storage of the IART1224 trimmer
The IART 1224 model is equipped with 4-point adjustable main handle and a fully adjustable auxiliary handle. This allows each user - regardless of height or how they hold the tool - to set the optimal working position. The well-chosen angle of the handle makes it easier to precisely guide the cutting head along the edge while relieving the strain on the wrists.
The top handle is covered with soft plastic layer, which increases tactile comfort, improves grip confidence and reduces the risk of the device slipping out of your hand, even when working with work gloves. The lower handle can be adjusted to the optimum height for a comfortable, upright back position, which is important for prolonged work.
Split handle tube is another practical convenience. Allows you to quickly disassemble the trimmer into two shorter pieces so it can easily fit in the trunk of your car, on a shelf in the garage or in a small garden storage compartment. This is ideal for users who carry a tool to the ROD plot or have limited storage space.

12 V 2.5 Ah battery - economical cordless lawn care
The heart of the device is a a battery with a voltage of 12 V and a capacity of 2.5 Ah. Such selected parameters provide an optimal compromise between performance and low weight of the whole set. The user gets enough power for efficient grass trimming while remaining highly mobile and convenient to operate.
Battery charging time is up to 5 hours. When fully charged, the trimmer is ready to work continuously for up to 60 minutes, which, in real garden conditions, often means being able to make a full circuit around the house, outbuildings and flowerbeds.
Wireless power also means:
- no need to use extension cords and search for electrical outlets in the garden,
- full freedom of movement over uneven terrain, between trees and bushes,
- safety - there is no risk of accidentally cutting the power cord,
- lower operating costs compared to petrol trimmers (no fuel, plugs, filters).

Use of IART 1224 12-volt lawn trimmers in daily garden maintenance
Thanks to its design and technical parameters, the IART 1224 trimmer will be ideal as an essential tool for finishing the lawn in home gardens and recreational plots. Example use scenarios include:
- Finishing the edge after mowing with a lawn mower - after driving the entire area with a conventional mower, there are usually strips of grass left by walls, fences, edges and around trees. The IART 1224 pruner allows you to level these areas in minutes, giving your lawn an aesthetically pleasing, professional look.
- Tidying up paths and driveways - grass growing on the edges of paving stones or flagstones may overgrow the edge of the surface over time. With a cutting width of 24 cm and precise guidance of the cutting head, it is easy to restore a clear line of demarcation between the lawn and the driveway or alley.
- Care around plants and landscaping elements - nylon blade allows you to safely trim grass near flower pots, flowerbeds, palisades or decorative stones, reducing the risk of damage to them.
Regular use of the IART 1224 trimmer allows you to keep your lawn in impeccable condition throughout the season, and the visual effect of a well-groomed garden has a positive impact on the aesthetics of the entire property.
