How to use the SR120 snowplow safely - practical tips
To ensure that the SR120 snowplow works reliably for many seasons, it is worth following the manufacturer's recommendations and good operating practices.
1. Disassembly of the cutting unit
Recommendation: In order to avoid damage to the cutting unit, also due to corrosion END is to dismantle it.
Removal of the cutting unit before winter operation protects it from moisture, road salt and ice impacts. In addition, it improves the machine's ground clearance, which enhances the ability to clear snow in larger drifts.
2. ZP5 attachment control
Before each winter season, it is a good idea to check that all bolts are properly tightened and fasteners show no play. Stable connection between tractor and plow directly influences operator safety and work efficiency.
3. Maintenance of the rubber strip
The rubber scraper bar is a working element that is in constant contact with the pavement. Checking its condition regularly and replacing it if necessary prevents scratches on the ground and loss of snow removal quality. After each season, it is a good idea to clean the plow from dirt and preserve metal parts with an anti-corrosion agent.
