VT73 AERATION ROLLER (FOR OM106/124) OB-ACCS532986017723
- VT73 aeration roller (for OM106/124) OB-ACCS532986017723 - professional roller with springs for aeration, combing out felt and moss from the lawn. Ideal for large lawns, Oleo-Mac OM106/OM124 tractors.
VT73 aeration roller (for OM106/124) OB-ACCS532986017723 is a specialized work attachment designed for professional lawn aeration. Equipped with a series of spring-loaded working wires, the roller gently but effectively scrubs felt, moss and plant debris from the turf, loosens the top layer of the substrate and facilitates the flow of water, air and nutrients to the root system. Combined with the VT73 unit, it creates an extremely powerful set for the care of large home lawns, parks or areas around commercial buildings.
What is the VT73 aeration roller (for OM106/124) OB-ACCS532986017723 and how it works?
VT73 AERATION SHAFT (FOR OM106/124) OB-ACCS532986017723 is the working component of the VT73 aeration unit. It is made of a series of parallel beams with springs embedded on them, which intensively brush and aerate the turf during operation. It is a solution created for owners of Oleo-Mac premium line of garden tractors, who expect quality and durability of equipment at a professional level.
As the tractor travels, the roller rotates and the springs penetrate the top layer of the lawn. Their task is:
- loosening the compacted layer of felt and moss,
- removal of dead plant debris from the surface,
- opening up the lawn to better access to air, water and fertilizers.
Shaft with springs for aeration works with VT73 unit (OB-ACCS532986017683). As part of a complete set, it allows aeration and care of a large area lawn. The above roller is an alternative to the roller with knives (OB-ACCS532986017683), which is used for scarifying (cutting and removing old turf to a selected depth). Thanks to the use of springs, the work is gentler on the turf and is ideal for regular maintenance of representative lawns.

Where the VT73 aeration roller (for OM106/124) is mounted and what machines it works with?
The VT73 aeration roller OB-ACCS532986017723 is designed for installation on the VT73 aeration unit, which works with Oleo-Mac premium line OM106 and OM124 garden tractors. The entire VT73 aeration unit system is driven by a drive belt connected to the tractor's cutting unit. Thanks to this solution, the cutting unit works simultaneously with the aeration unit and collects into a basket the elements of the old turf that was removed from the lawn during the aeration process. All the work is done in one pass.
It is recommended as an accessory for Oleo-Mac tractors of the premium line OM106/OM124. In order for the OM106/124 tractor to realize the potential of additional attachments, we recommend purchasing:
- OO-OTHS000000002180 - ZP5 mount,
- OO-OTHS532933702563 - PPT5 control system.
The above two items also allow the operation of the BS105 tall grass mower, FS100 snowblower, ZK120 sweeper and the VT73 unit mentioned above. This makes the Oleo-Mac Premium line tractor a year-round machine with a wide range of capabilities. ZP5 mount and PPT5 control system is a universal solution for all 4 attachments.
An additional attachment that requires a ZP5 mount is the SR120 snow plow. The PPT5 control system, on the other hand, for SR120 plow operation is no longer needed. This unified approach to attachments means that by investing in a single attachment, you gain the ability to expand your tractor with more features without additional, complicated modifications.

Using the VT73 aeration roller - an ideal choice for large lawns
The VT73 aeration roller (for OM106/124) is designed for users with large, presentable lawns who expect results similar to those on golf courses or sports fields. As a complete set, it enables aeration and care of a large area lawn, reducing work time and minimizing operator effort.
The application of the roller includes m.in.:
- regular maintenance of home lawns to keep them in excellent condition throughout the season,
- care of greenery around hotels, boarding houses, restaurants and recreational facilities, where the aesthetics of the lawn directly affect the image of the place,
- maintenance of green areas at companies and public institutions, where both durability and the representative appearance of the turf are important,
- preparation of lawns for fertilization, reseeding and regeneration after periods of heavy use or drought.
A practical example: in early spring, you can aerate the lawn with one pass of the tractor, comb out the residue from the winter and collect everything in the trash, and then immediately apply fertilizer and possible reseeding. In the autumn, the roller will help remove dried fragments of grass from the turf and prepare it for winter dormancy.
Oleo-Mac VT73 aeration roller for OM106/OM124 - durability, comfort and high working efficiency
A key advantage of the VT73 aeration roller is that it combines a robust, heavy-duty construction with a gentle action on the turf. The working springs have been arranged in such a way that they work evenly across the width of the lawn without causing damage to the lawn, while effectively removing the compacted layer of felt.
From a user perspective, this means:
- fewer trips - Thanks to the working width and high efficiency of the roller, you get an effect with one pass that would require many repetitions with classic hand aerators,
- lower operating costs - A design based on simple, easily accessible components minimizes the risk of failure and simplifies potential maintenance,
- high comfort - The operator sits comfortably in the tractor, and the entire aeration and dirt collection process takes place simultaneously.
Thanks to this solution, the cutting unit works simultaneously with the aeration unit and collects into a basket the elements of the old turf that was removed from the lawn during the aeration process. All the work is done in one trip - you save time, fuel and your efforts.
Note! For those without experience, assembling the machine can be a time-consuming and difficult task. To avoid possible problems, we recommend contacting a service center that works with us.

- A healthier, denser and more resilient lawn - The root system of the grass receives more oxygen, water and nutrients, resulting in more intensive growth and better recovery from drought or heavy use.
- Saving time - aeration, combing and waste collection are done simultaneously; you don't have to perform several separate treatments with different tools.
- Multi-season operation - thanks to the use of Oleo-Mac tractor with ZP5 attachment and PPT5 control system, you can use various attachments (aerator, high grass mower, sweeper, snowblower) all year round, which significantly increases the profitability of the investment.

FAQ - frequently asked questions about VT73 aeration roller (for OM106/124)
1. Does the VT73 aeration roller fit any garden tractor?
The roller is designed to work with the VT73 unit mounted on Oleo-Mac tractors of the premium line OM106 and OM124. For full functionality, it is recommended to use the ZP5 mount and, for other attachments, the PPT5 control system.
2. What is the difference between a roller with springs and a roller with knives?
A roller with springs is used for aeration - gently aerating and combing out the lawn. It is gentler on turf and is ideal for regular maintenance. The roller with knives is designed for scarifying, i.e. deeper cutting and removal of old turf.
3. How often should you aerate your lawn with this roller?
Depending on the intensity of use and the type of lawn, aeration is usually performed 1-3 times a season - usually in early spring and autumn. On intensively used lawns (e.g., at commercial facilities), the treatment can be repeated more often.
4. Is it necessary to collect the removed turf separately during aeration?
Not. Thanks to its cooperation with the tractor's cutting unit, demineralized turf, felt and other debris are automatically collected into a basket. The entire process is carried out in a single pass, which significantly reduces working time.
5. Can I do the installation of the aeration roller myself?
Those experienced in the operation of garden machinery can carry out the installation themselves, but for users without practice it can be a time-consuming task. In this case, it is recommended to contact an authorized service center.
