Cutting line Oleo-Mac 2.4/90 PENTA STAR FPRO08227 was made from a unique blend of modern plastics, which provide above-average durability. This means that the line is slower to wear down, wear out and break, resulting in less wear and tear on the material and less frequent need to refill the head. In practice, the user gains:
- fewer interruptions - Ideal when mowing large plots or communal areas for long periods,
- lower operating costs - One spool of 90 m lasts for a long time, which is especially important for companies,
- reliability of operation in difficult conditions - high resistance to impact against stones, curbs and hard obstacles.
During typical work, such as fine-tuning the edging around paving stones, mesh fencing or building foundations, traditional fishing line often becomes brittle and wears out quickly. Technology used in the series Orange Line significantly reduces this phenomenon, which will be especially appreciated by those who regularly take care of large areas of greenery.
Example of daily use: mowing next to a panel fence - Oleo-Mac monofilament, thanks to its resistance and cross-section, effectively removes grass growing right next to metal posts and panels, without being quickly shortened, while minimizing the risk of its breakage.
Precise cutting thanks to the PENTA STAR cross-section - perfect edge finish

Cross section sTAR (PENTA STAR) is one of the key advantages of this line. Unlike standard round-cut fishing lines, the sharp edges of the star "bites" into the vegetation, providing:
- clean, even cut grass without tugging it,
- greater efficiency when controlling weeds with tougher stems,
- precise edge finishing at fences, flowerbeds, curbs or around trees.
This makes the lawn look aesthetically pleasing - the blades are not ragged, and the cutting areas do not yellow as quickly. This is especially true when caring for representative lawns in front of homes, in show gardens or around businesses.
Examples of daily use:
- Finishing the edge of the lawn next to a paved pathway - star cross-section allows you to accurately cut the grass, leaving a neat, even line.
- Work on flower beds - The line effectively removes weeds growing between plants, and with good orange visibility, the operator can better control the distance from tender plants.
- Tidying up the areas around gazebos, swings, pergolas - provides precision in places where a conventional mower will not enter.
Oleo-Mac Orange Line 2.4 mm - convenience of use, no sticking and easy installation in the head

One of the common complaints of users of cutters and trimmers is sticking of the line inside the head, especially when the tool sits for a long time, works in the sun or the line is of low quality. Oleo-Mac in the series Orange Line has significantly reduced this phenomenon by using a special blend of materials with reduced susceptibility to fusion.
User benefits:
- easy line ejection in semi-automatic and automatic heads,
- less downtime at work caused by the need to disassemble the head and untangle the wound line,
- simple and quick installation new section in most standard heads available on the market.
Diameter 2.4 mm is the most versatile size - thick enough to cope with more difficult vegetation, while not overloading the engine of smaller scythes. It is an ideal choice for homeowners, allotment holders and small gardening businesses.
Examples of daily use:
- Quick line change before weekend mowing - thanks to the flexible yet stable material, the line is easy to wind and does not break during stretching.
- Works on ROD plot - One spool of 90 m is enough for many mowing sessions around the gazebo, beds and fences.
- Maintenance of areas around company buildings - minimizing downtime is important for service teams that need to efficiently service several locations on a single day.

It can be used in universal heads and dedicated Oleo-Mac heads, as well as in many heads of other manufacturers - just that the manufacturer of the device allows a diameter of 2.4 mm.
2. Is this line suitable only for grass or also for thicker weeds?
Model PENTA STAR thanks to its star-shaped cross-section, it is suitable not only for grass, but also for weeds, reeds and small shrubs. It is perfect for wasteland, fences, curbs and areas where vegetation is more woody.
3. Does the line break easily when working around curbs or rocks?

4. Can the line stick together in the head during storage?
The technology used reduces the risk of vein fusion inside the head, even with prolonged storage. For best results, however, it is a good idea to store the device in a dry and not too sunny place.
5. How long will one pack of 90 m be enough?
Line consumption depends on the power of the machine, the type of vegetation to be mowed and the style of the operator. Under typical conditions for a home garden one spool of 90 m can even last a whole season. For intensive professional use in gardening companies - for many hours of effective work.
6. Does the color orange have a practical meaning?
Yes. Orange color ensures good visibility of the line during operation, which facilitates precise guidance of the scythe and increases safety - the operator can better see how far the line is from obstacles.
7. What length of line section to wind to the head?
The length of the section depends on the design of the head. Most often, head manufacturers provide a suggested length (e.g., 3-5 m). Follow the recommendations for your specific head model to avoid line ejection problems and ensure safe operation.
8. Is this line suitable for mowing very tall grass?
Yes, the Oleo-Mac PENTA STAR 2.4 mm monofilament line does well with tall and dense grass. However, in the case of extremely tall and neglected vegetation, it is worthwhile to work in stages, shortening the grass gradually to relieve the burden on the device and extend the life of the line itself.
