MOWING ROBOT R500I 67049001S1 - Intelligent and maintenance-free lawn mowing up to 500 m²

Oleo-Mac R 500i mowing robot - what it is and who it is for?

R 500i mowing robot is a fully automatic garden mower designed for lawns up to 500 m². Thanks to its compact design and low weight, it can mow even in hard-to-reach places - along flowerbeds, near hedges, around trees or landscaping elements. This is a modern device that, once programmed, takes care of the lawn on its own, allowing the garden owner to focus on relaxing.

The heart of the robot is a powerful 3200 rpm induction motor./min, cooperating with a disc with three rotary knives. Working width 18 cm and cutting height can be set in four ranges 30-40-50-60 mm make the R 500i ideal for both carpet lawns and utility lawns - around single-family homes, on recreational plots or in backyard terraced gardens.

The robot automatically detects narrow passageways and finds the optimal route without the risk of getting stuck or draining the battery. In gardens with hedges, flower beds or other obstacles, you can further enhance its performance and safety by installing an optional ultrasonic sensor, which detects objects in the robot's path, allowing it to follow a more precise and efficient route.

Application example: the owner of a small garden next to a single-family house sets the robot's work schedule for a few days a week in the afternoon. The R 500i autonomously sets off from the charging station, mows the entire area, and returns to recharge when finished or when the battery level drops. The lawn is always well-groomed, and the householder does not waste time on traditional mowing.

Where the R500i mowing robot is mounted and what the installation looks like?

R500i mowing robot 67049001S1 works within the area designated border wire. This wire is laid along the borders of lawns, flowerbeds, paths or ponds - it can be fixed to the ground with pegs or shallowly buried. The kit includes 120m of cable and 150 pins, which is more than enough for a standard garden of up to 500 m².

The central point of the system is the charging station, which is mounted on a flat part of the lawn, as close as possible to the power outlet. It is from here that the robot starts work and to which it automatically returns when the battery charge drops below 30%. As a result, the user does not have to remember to manually recharge the device - the whole process is automatic.

In addition to the docking station, it is also possible to charge the robot with an additional charger CRG200. This solution is especially convenient for those who have two separate lawns or who want to recharge the battery in the garage or utility room.

Application example: recreational plot with two separate sections of lawn - by the house and by the gazebo. The main charging station is located at the house, while the optional CRG200 charger is used in the gazebo. The user easily moves the robot between parts of the garden, maintaining full mobility of the device.

Application of the R500i mowing robot - convenience, precision and safety on a daily basis

The R 500i is designed for users who want maintenance-free, quiet and precise mowing. Operating time on a single charge is approx. 80 minutes, which, combined with the automatic return to the station, ensures effective maintenance of the set grass height over the entire area.

  • Automatic detection of narrow passages - The robot finds its own way even through the narrowest channels, instead of getting lost, getting stuck and running out of battery power. Ideal for gardens divided by paths, flowerbeds and plantings.
  • Flex Cut mode - detects tall grass while mowing and reduces the travel speed accordingly, instead of increasing it when the disc blade is blocked. This ensures even mowing without leaving "clumps" and without putting undue strain on the cutting system.
  • Spiral mowing - in areas with extremely tall grass, the robot goes into spiral mode and mows until the surface is level, making it easier to bring neglected sections of the lawn into perfect condition.

Thanks to guaranteed sound power of only 62 dB(A), the robot works very quietly - you can run it even in the evening, without worrying about disturbing household members or neighbors. It is an excellent choice for densely built-up estates where acoustic comfort is important.

Application example: a family with young children uses the garden mainly on weekends. R 500i is programmed to operate on weekday mornings. Low noise and automatic operation ensure an always even, well-groomed lawn, without the need for free time to mow.

Technology and operational safety of the Oleo-Mac R 500i mowing robot

The R 500i mowing robot is equipped with a number of technological solutions that increase the safety, efficiency and durability of the device:

  • Firmware updated OTA - The robot can receive updates wirelessly (Over The Air), so it always benefits from the latest manufacturer's features and fixes, without the need to visit the service center.
  • Up to five remote starting points - the ability to define as many as five starting points along the boundary wire (starting from the charging station) ensures consistent, even mowing results across the entire lawn, including remote corners of the garden.
  • Ultrasonic obstacle detection (optional) - optional sensor can detect obstacles from 10 cm wide and 15-20 cm high in front of the machine. Such a feature minimizes the risk of collision with pots, toys, low walls or garden furniture.

The body of the robot meets the standard IPX5, which means high resistance to water. The robot can work even in harsh weather conditions, and the the cutting attachment can be washed directly with water, which makes it much easier to keep the device clean.

In addition, the robot can work on inclines with maximum working slope of 36%, which makes it also suitable for gardens with hilly terrain. For even better traction, the manufacturer offers as an optionally, solid metal traction wheels, ideal for working on more demanding inclines.

NOTE! Use only the following batteries: Bi 220, Bi 250 and cRG 200 loaders. The use of non-original batteries or chargers may void the warranty and impair safety of use.

Convenience of use - smartphone control, clear display and easy access to the battery

The R 500i mowing robot is designed for maximum ease of use. Digital LED display located on the body shows what the robot is currently doing, and allows easy troubleshooting by following the troubleshooting instructions in the app.

The mowing robot can be controlled directly from smartphone: the user receives notifications in case of problems (e.g., robot locking up, low battery), and can send commands to start, stop or park. This form of service will be especially appreciated by people who are often away from home - they have constant control over the state of the lawn regardless of where they are.

The battery is located on the back of the mower. This makes it very easy to access, which greatly simplifies its removal, recharging and eventual replacement. This solution translates into faster service and less user effort.

Application example: homeowner goes on vacation. Using a smartphone app, sets the robot's work schedule for the period of absence. In case of a possible mistake, he receives a notification, and when he returns, he finds a perfectly trimmed lawn, without having to catch up with it.

Durability, build quality and daily operation of the R500i mowing robot

R 500i weighs only 9.4 kg, which, combined with the compact dimensions 562 × 360 × 230 mm allows it to maneuver easily in narrow spaces. Despite its light weight, the robot is characterized by a robust design, resistant to the hardships of daily outdoor use.

Central cutting height adjustment allows the robot to quickly adapt to the current weather conditions and season - lower mowing in summer, higher mowing in hot weather or at the end of the season. Three sharp knives cutters provide a clean, precise cut that promotes healthy grass compaction.

Thanks to its waterproof rating IPX5 the robot is resistant to splashes of rain or water spray, so it can work even in less favorable weather. The cutting attachment can be washed directly in water, which greatly facilitates the hygiene of the device and prolongs the life of the working parts.

Example of use: after an intensive period of mowing, the user reverses the robot, removes the blades and washes the cutting chamber with a garden hose. Removes accumulated grass and dirt in minutes, without the need for specialized cleaners.

Oleo-Mac R500i mowing robot - stable guidance and efficient operation on inclines

Maximum working slope 36% enables the robot to work effectively on diverse terrain. Large, contoured wheels provide very good traction, and optional metal traction wheels further enhance stability on slopes and unevenness. This is especially important in gardens located on slopes or near embankments.

The robot's navigation algorithms take into account both terrain and fixed obstacles. As a result, the R 500i rarely requires user intervention - once the boundary cable is properly installed, the robot can handle most situations on its own.

Application example: a house with a terrace garden divided into several levels connected by gentle slopes. The robot works in automatic mode, negotiating uphill and downhill areas without leaving uncut lanes on the transitions between levels. The user gains the effect of an evenly trimmed, presentable lawn throughout the plot.
