BOWSHOTTACHER - EH 48 58059012A - Professional hedge trimmer for petrol scythe

Scythe attachment - eh 48 shears

Applied to traditional petrol scythes and backpack scythes with a 24 mm diameter drive shaft (BC240). The EH 48 model (48 cm blade) is recommended for hedge care because it has the ability to change the angle of the cutting bar 270° from the axis of the boom. Special swivel mechanism of the cutting head makes it possible to reduce the size of the device for transportation.

What is a scythe attachment - cutter EH 48 58059012A?

Scythe attachment - cutter EH 48 58059012A is a professional, high-quality cutting accessory that turns a traditional petrol scythe or backpack cutter into a powerful hedge trimmer. Instead of buying a separate, heavy-duty petrol shear, simply attach this attachment to your existing machine and get a full-fledged piece of equipment for precision cutting and shaping of shrubs and hedges.

The EH 48 model features a long cutting bar with a length of 48 cm, which ensures fast work on larger areas. Sturdy construction, steel blades and a refined gear mechanism make the attachment durable, heavy-duty and ready for heavy use in both home gardening and professional applications.

Thanks to the ability to adjust the angle of the cutting bar in a wide range of 270°, the user can comfortably trim both the top and sides of the hedge, without having to frequently change the body position, use ladders or platforms. This is a real increase in safety and convenience.

Where the EH 48 58059012A attachment is mounted and which mowers it works with?

The EH 48 attachment is designed to be mounted on conventional petrol cutters and backpack cutters equipped with a 24 mm drive shaft, including models designated BC240. Installation takes place in place of a standard work head (e.g., a vee head or cutting disc) and is intuitive - after removing the existing work head, the attachment is slid onto the drive shaft and secured with the appropriate fastener.

Thanks to its standardized shaft diameter (24 mm), the attachment is compatible with a wide range of popular backpack cutters and petrol trimmers. This means that you don't need to invest in a completely new machine - just use the drive you have to gain a second function of the device. This solution saves garage space, reduces costs and simplifies service and maintenance.

In practice, installation comes down to a few simple steps:

  • Motor shutdown and device protection.
  • Removal of the existing working tip (line head, disc, etc.).).
  • Slip the EH 48 attachment onto a drive shaft with a diameter of 24 mm.
  • Thorough tightening of the fixing screws.
  • Checking the correct operation of the cutting bar before starting a full load.

When properly installed, the attachment works as an integral part of the machine, using the power and torque of the scythe engine. The user operates it using the same handle and control system as for standard lawn mowing.

Scythe attachment - Cutter EH 48 58059012A - 270° adjustment and convenience in all conditions

One of the key advantages of the EH 48 attachment is the ability to change the angle of the cutting bar within a very wide range - as much as 270° relative to the axis of the boom. This means that the cutting head can be adjusted to almost any position, perfectly matching the task at hand.

Examples of practical application of angle adjustment:

  • Cutting the top edge of a tall hedge - the slat can be set horizontally, and the operator, standing on the ground, cuts the top of even tall plantings, reducing the need to use a ladder.
  • Forming the sides of the hedge - positioning the slat vertically or at a slight slant allows you to make long, even cuts along the entire wall of greenery.
  • Work on low-lying shrubs - the slat can be tilted to conveniently trim low hedges, ground cover plants or edge plantings without bending down deeply.

Angle adjustment increases not only comfort, but also precision. The operator can always work in the optimal position, with a clear view of the cut piece, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing, even end result. In addition, the ability to fold or rotate the head to a compact size makes it significantly easier to transport and store the attachment in the car, on a workshop shelf or in a garden storage compartment.

The special rotating mechanism of the cutting head is designed to make adjustment fast, smooth and safe. Changing the position of the strip does not require the use of additional tools - standard operations according to the manufacturer's instructions are sufficient.

Application of the EH 48 attachment - professional care of hedges and shrubs

Scythe attachment - shears EH 48 58059012A is designed for intensive care of hedges, ornamental shrubs and green walls created with coniferous and deciduous plants. The 48 cm long blade allows you to quickly and evenly cut large areas, minimizing the number of repeated passes.

Typical garden and outdoor applications:

  • Forming and leveling hedges of tui, yew, ligustrum, hornbeam, boxwood and other species often used as natural fences.
  • Pruning of ornamental shrubs around the house, driveway, gazebos or terraces - keeping them in nice, neat shape all season long.
  • Corrective cutting after winter or after intensive plant growth - removing protruding shoots, leveling the silhouette of shrubs and restoring their aesthetic appearance.
  • Works on recreational plots and green areas at companies, hotels, boarding houses and public facilities where regular and fast care of greenery is required.

By using the drive from a petrol scythe or backpack, the EH 48 attachment also performs well when cutting more woody, thicker stems within the manufacturer's recommended limits. This makes the tool suitable for both standard seasonal care and stronger cleanup cutting.

Compared to classic manual hedge trimmers, the EH 48 attachment provides several times faster work speed and relieves the user's wrists and shoulders, which is of great importance during longer orders and care of large green areas.

Quality, durability and reliability of the scythe attachment - EH 48 shears

EH 48 58059012A attachment is made for years of heavy use. Key structural components-including the cutter bar and gear mechanism-use materials with improved wear resistance. Steel blades ensure a clean, even cut, which is important not only for aesthetics, but also for plant health (smoothly cut twigs heal better and are less prone to disease).

Key user benefits:

  • High durability - Robust workmanship, resistance to load and work in difficult terrain conditions.
  • Reliability - match to proven scythe models (m.in. BC240) and efficient cooperation with their drive.
  • Security - Stable mounting on a 24mm shaft, a clever swivel mechanism and the ability to work from the ground against high hedges, reducing the risk of falling from the ladder.

An additional advantage is its compactness - when the cutting head is folded, the attachment takes up much less space, making it easy to transport in the trunk of a car and store in the off-season. For gardening companies and professional users, this means simpler equipment management and less risk of damage when transporting between jobs.

Regular maintenance - lubricating and cleaning the cutterbar and inspecting the mounts - keeps the unit fully operational for many seasons of use. Thanks to its simple design, maintenance operations are uncomplicated and can be performed independently by the user.
