SCYTHE ATTACHMENT - EH 50 SHEAR 58059001B - PROFESSIONAL HEDGE TRIMMER FOR PETROL SCYTHE

Scythe attachment - eh 50 shear

Applied to traditional petrol scythes and backpack scythes with a 26 mm drive shaft (Sparta 42BP, Sparta 440BP, 446 BP Ergo; BC360 4T). The EH 50 model (48 cm blade) is recommended for hedge care because it has the ability to change the angle of the cutting bar 270° from the axis of the boom. Special swivel mechanism of the cutting head makes it possible to reduce the size of the device for transportation.

What is a scythe attachment - EH 50 shear 58059001B?

Scythe attachment - EH 50 shears 58059001B is a professional cutting module that turns a traditional petrol or backpack scythe into a high-end hedge trimmer. Instead of buying a separate device, simply attach the attachment to the 26mm diameter drive shaft of the scythe to get a powerful, precise tool for shrub and hedge care. A blade with a length of approx. 48 cm for fast work and an even cutting line on large areas.

The device is designed for users who value durability, convenience and the ability to make versatile use of the scythe they own. The robust cutting head, high-quality blade bar and wide-range rotation capability make the EH 50 attachment an ideal choice for both demanding home users and professional gardeners.

The model is perfect for shaping hedges, correcting the shape of ornamental shrubs, top and side cutting, as well as for hard-to-reach parts of the garden, which are difficult to reach with traditional hand or electric shears.

Where the scythe attachment is mounted - EH 50 shear 58059001B?

Scythe attachment - EH 50 shear 58059001B is mounted directly on the drive shaft of a petrol scythe or backpack scythe with a diameter of 26 mm. It is compatible with popular models, among others: Sparta 42BP, Sparta 440BP, 446 BP Ergo, BC360 4T. This allows you to create a multifunctional gardening equipment from a single drive unit, which, depending on the attachment fitted, acts as a mower or hedge trimmer.

Installation is done in a few simple steps: disconnect the existing work head, seat the EH 50 attachment on the drive shaft, and then secure the connection with a screw or clamp. The structure is designed to ensure high operational safety and secure power transmission from the engine to the cutting bar. Thanks to the precise fit to the shaft with a diameter of 26 mm, the whole works without excessive vibration and backlash.

The attachment can be mounted and dismounted in a short time, which is especially convenient for users who switch from grass cutting to hedge forming in a single work day. It only takes a moment to transform the scythe into a professional boom shear, without having to take additional equipment to the job site.

Use of scythe attachment - EH 50 shears 58059001B in daily garden work

The EH 50 attachment opens up a wide range of applications for the user, allowing one device to be used like a professional boom hedge trimmer. Its design and cutting bar angle adjustment make it extremely versatile:

  • Care of backyard hedges - easy formation of straight, even lines in hedges of tui, ligustrum, hornbeam or yew trees. Blade length approx. 48 cm allows for quick processing of long sections of fence.
  • Pruning of ornamental and molded shrubs - Ideal for aligning balls, cones and other shapes formed from ornamental plants, where precision cutting and the ability to adjust the angle of the head are important.
  • Work at height without a ladder - when attached to a backpack mower or a mower with a longer boom, the attachment allows you to reach higher hedges with ease, reducing the need to climb a ladder and improving safety.
  • Cleaning work in larger gardens and company grounds - perfect for teams caring for green areas at companies, housing estates, institutions or public facilities, where speed and high quality of finish counts.
  • Transportation and mobile work - thanks to the folding mechanism of the head, the attachment is convenient to carry in a car or bus with other tools, without the risk of damaging the cutting bar.

In practice, this means that one gardener or one team can use the same drive to handle both the mowing of lawns and bushes and the care of even very extensive hedges, which translates into measurable savings in time and money.

Scythe attachment - EH 50 shear 58059001B: 270° angle adjustment and working comfort

One of the most important features of the EH 50 attachment is the ability to change the angle of the cutting bar within a wide range as much as 270° relative to the axis of the boom. This allows the user to adjust the head to perfectly match the type of work being performed:

  • Top cut - setting the slat in a horizontal position allows you to easily level the top edge of the hedge while standing comfortably on the ground, without having to bend over or climb a ladder.
  • Side cutting - setting the head at a right angle (or close to it) to the boom makes it easier to make long, vertical cuts along the entire hedge wall, guaranteeing an even and aesthetically pleasing result.
  • Angled cutting - adjustment of intermediate settings is particularly useful when forming more complicated shapes and when trimming plants growing on slopes, uneven ground or in hard-to-reach places.

The possibility of such a wide adjustment makes it possible to adjust the position of the strip to both the height of the user and the nature of the work performed. This reduces hand and back fatigue, increases cutting precision, and improves safety because the operator can adopt a natural, stable posture while working.

In daily use, for example, the gardener can make a quick corrective cut of the hedge at the entrance to the property in the morning, positioning the head almost parallel to the ground, and in the afternoon form high walls of greenery at the fence, changing the angle to a more vertical one - all with a single attachment, without additional tools.

Swivel mechanism of the EH 50 cutting head - convenient transportation and storage

The special rotating mechanism of the cutting head used in the EH 50 58059001B attachment is designed not only for comfort, but also for ease of transport and storage. When you're done, the head can be rotated and folded so that the whole thing takes up much less space. This is especially important in the case of:

  • Carrying equipment in the car - the folded attachment fits more easily in the trunk, reducing the risk of snagging the blade on other tools and protecting the cutting bar from damage.
  • Storage in small utility rooms - Private users and small businesses often have limited storage space; the ability to reduce the length of the unit makes storage much easier.
  • Daily movement between assignments - green care companies that visit multiple locations during the day will appreciate the fact that the folded attachment is handier and safer to transport.

The swivel mechanism is robust and designed to maintain the set working angle even during prolonged use. At the same time, its operation is intuitive, which reduces the time to prepare the device for operation.

Durability, quality and reliability of the scythe attachment - EH 50 shear 58059001B

The EH 50 58059001B attachment is distinguished by its robust design, which has been prepared for intensive use. The quality of workmanship and materials used in production directly affect the long life and trouble-free operation of the device:

  • High quality cutting bar - blade length approx. 48 cm is made of durable steel for long-lasting sharpness and clean cutting of twigs. This allows the hedge to recover faster after cutting, and the ends of the shoots are not ragged.
  • Durable head and gearbox - the mechanism that transmits the drive from the shaft of the scythe to the cutting bar is designed to withstand prolonged operation even in demanding conditions with denser and harder twigs.
  • Secure mounting on 26 mm shaft - thanks to a precise fit and solid mounts, the risk of backlash or vibration is minimal, which translates into user comfort and less wear and tear on drive components.

In practice, this means that the EH 50 attachment can be operated for many seasons, with proper maintenance (cleaning, lubrication of moving parts, periodic inspection of the blade). For professional gardeners, it's an investment that quickly pays for itself through time savings, and for private users - a tool that will serve for seasonal garden maintenance for years to come.

For example, the owner of a large plot of land with extensive hedges, instead of outsourcing the service to an outside company, can carry out the pruning himself once or twice a season, using the same drive unit with which he mows the grass and bushes.

Storing in a dry place and folding the head for transport further extends the life of the device.

5. Is it safe to adjust the head angle during operation?
