Oleo Mac chainsaw GS 371 version with pitch cutting system .325". The advantage of this arrangement over the previously used 3/8" hobby is the higher efficiency. Number of chain cutting teeth .325" is larger compared to 3/8" hobby chain at the same working length of chain. Not without significance is also the profi l of the cutting tooth. Chain cutting teeth .the "325" are characterized by a half-chisel type profile, so they are relatively resistant to natural dulling, and the narrow top plate does not put too much strain on the transmission system, allowing smooth operation.
