6203Z-NSK Cedrus aerator cartridge bearing CEDRSM05 CEDRSM06 - superior durability and reliability in daily use
A key feature of the bearing 6203Z-NSK is its high resistance to radial and axial loads occurring during aerator operation in the lawn. The tine work shaft encounters roots, compacted soil and small stones in its path - all of which are transferred to the bearing. The 6203 series' design and NSK manufacturer's precision workmanship ensure trouble-free operation even under heavy use, such as in gardening companies.
The bearing is made of wear-resistant bearing steel, hardened and ground to high tolerances. This preserves the full geometry of the raceways and balls, minimizing the risk of seizure or the formation of backlash. For the user, it practically means that the aerator runs smoothly, does not make noise and does not require frequent repairs, which translates into real savings in time and money.
In everyday use in the garden, playground or recreational areas, the 6203Z-NSK bearing allows you to maintain a consistently high aeration efficiency of your lawn. Even with regular season operation, the unit maintains performance, and the even rotation of the roller guarantees an even effect across the entire working width.

Smooth, quiet operation of the aerator shaft thanks to 6203Z-NSK bearing
One of the most important benefits for the user is the noticeably quieter and smoother operation aerator after replacing worn bearings with new 6203Z-NSK. Appropriate shape of raceway and high quality of rolling balls ensure low coefficient of friction. In practice, this means less rolling resistance, lighter operation of the device and less strain on the engine or drive.
Reduction in vibration and noise is especially noticeable during longer grooming operations. The operator does not get tired as quickly, and neighbors are not exposed to excessive noise. The smooth operation of the roller also translates into even penetration of the tines into the lawn, which ensures an aesthetically pleasing, repeatable effect over the entire working surface.
In daily use, such as during spring and autumn aeration of the home lawn, at the ROD allotment, or when caring for the turf of a school field, the quality of bearings directly affects the comfort of work. A good bearing eliminates rasps, clearances and jerks that could lead to damage to other components of the aerator cartridge.

Easy installation of 6203Z-NSK bearing in Cedrus aerator cartridge CEDRSM05 / CEDRSM06
The 6203Z-NSK bearing was designed as a a direct replacement for the factory component in Cedrus aerator cassettes CEDRSM05 and CEDRSM06. This means that it fits dimensionally into the socket in the body and onto the shaft, making installation simple and requiring no complicated modifications or specialized tools. In many cases, the replacement can be done by the user himself with basic technical skills.
Simply remove the cartridge from the aerator, remove the worn bearing, clean the seat and seat the new 6203Z-NSK bearing, taking care to press down and align it correctly. After such an operation, the shaft regains full stability and the rotary motion becomes light and free of backlash. Ease of installation translates into shorter machine downtime - the aerator is quickly back in season, with no need to return the equipment to service for an extended period of time.
Examples of daily applications:
- replacement of bearings in the Cedrus aerator before the start of intensive spring work in the gardening company,
- self-repair of the device in a home workshop after detecting play or noise on the shaft,
- periodic service of equipment before the season, performed by the administrator of the green areas of the estate or resort.

The use of original bearings also has a direct impact on operational safety. Stably guided shaft minimizes the risk of blockage, breakage or falling out of working parts. For the user, this means quiet, trouble-free operation of the equipment during intensive work in the season.
In practice, the original Cedrus bearing works well in many typical situations:
- regular aeration of large areas of lawn at a single-family house,
