- Cedrus lawn mower handle bolt clamp CEDKE40. Genuine spare part to guarantee a secure grip, safety and comfort at work. Ideal for service and repair of Cedrus mowers.
What is the handle bolt clamp Cedrus mower CEDKE40 and why it is so important?
Cedrus lawn mower CEDKE40 handle bolt clamp is a small but key component of the Cedrus CEDKE40 electric lawn mower (KE40). Its task is to stably tighten the screw that attaches the guide handle to the body of the device. It is what keeps the handle of the mower rigid, does not drop or sway during operation, which directly translates into operator comfort and safety.
The offered clamp is an original spare part from Cedrus Parts, 100% compatible with Cedrus CEDKE40 mower. This means a perfect fit to the factory mounting points, no rework, and full retention of the mower's performance when the component is replaced.
Manufacturer's product part number: 3152200101098001
Symbol: 530756
EAN: 5906434254222
The clamp is made of durable, hard plastic resistant to mechanical damage, vibration and typical garden conditions (moisture, temperature changes, grass dirt). The distinctive red color makes it easy to quickly locate the component when servicing or inspecting the mower.

Where does the Cedrus lawn mower CEDKE40 handle bolt clamp mount and how does it affect the convenience of operation?
Cedrus CEDKE40 handle bolt clamp is mounted in the connection area between the guide handle and the mower body. Its design allows the clamping screw to be securely locked and the tightening force to be evenly distributed across the chuck components. In practice, this means a stable connection, with no unpleasant backlash and no risk of accidentally folding the handle while mowing.
A well-tightened clamp:
- Provides a rigid grip - The mower runs confidently on the lawn, without "floating" or jerking.
- Improves ergonomics at work - The operator can maintain a comfortable, straight posture without constantly correcting the position of the handle.
- Enhances security - Stable grip reduces the risk of losing control of the machine on uneven terrain, for example.
In the daily use of a lawn mower, it is this element that is largely responsible for the perceived comfort of driving the machine. If you notice that the handle on your Cedrus CEDKE40 mower is starting to loosen, droop, or become more difficult to lock in the operating position, replacing the bolt clamp is the first and easiest service step.
Examples of situations from the garden where good clamp condition matters:
- Mowing at curbs and walls - stable handle allows you to precisely guide the mower, without the risk of hitting the housing into an obstacle.
- Maneuvering between beds - holding the handle securely makes it easy to turn around and avoid ornamental plants.
- Working on sloping terrain - rigid connection of the handle to the body increases control of the mower on slopes and gentle hills.
Application of handle bolt clamp Cedrus lawn mower CEDKE40 - service, repair and prevention
Cedrus lawn mower handle bolt clamp CEDKE40 is primarily designed for:
- Post-accident repairs - when the existing clamp has broken due to impact, overturning of the mower or improper transportation.
- Typical operational wear and tear - repeated folding and unfolding of the handle, intensive work and vibration can weaken the original component over time.
- Restore the Cedrus CEDKE40 mower to full operation - Installing a new original caliper is a quick way to take up the slack in the chuck.
The clamp can be successfully installed both in home DIY services and in professional repair shops servicing Cedrus garden equipment. The simple design and exact fit to the original bolt and chuck make replacement quick and require no specialized tools - usually all that is needed is a standard wrench or socket of the appropriate size.
The benefits of using a genuine Cedrus clamp:
- Guaranteed compatibility - An item designed specifically for the Cedrus CEDKE40 mower.
- Repeatable quality - No need to fit universal replacements with uncertain dimensions.
- Hassle-free installation - The holes, shape and length of the clamp correspond to the factory components of the mower.
By using genuine Cedrus Parts, you not only ensure the durability of your mower, but also maintain the warranty and safety parameters stipulated by the manufacturer.
The most important features of the Cedrus lawn mower handle bolt clamp CEDKE40 from the user's point of view
- Genuine Cedrus Parts - The same standard of workmanship that is used in the first assembly at the factory.
- High mechanical resistance - Durable plastic designed for use in garden conditions.
- Precise fit - No backlash, proper screw guidance and secure locking of the handle.
- Easy assembly and disassembly - replacement of the element can be done by yourself in a short time.
- Safety and comfort - Sturdy handle means less hand fatigue and more control over the mower.
These features make the Cedrus CEDKE40 handle screw clamp a component worth investing in if you have any handle stability problems. Regular inspection of the condition of this component avoids annoying backlash, noise and the risk of damage to other parts of the chuck mount.
Instructions and best practices for installing the Cedrus CEDKE40 handle bolt clamp
The following instructions are general in nature and will help you properly perform the clamp replacement on the Cedrus CEDKE40 mower:
- Power disconnection - always disconnect the lawn mower from the mains before carrying out any service work.
- Element location - locate the bolt that attaches the handle to the body of the mower and the clamp mounted on it.
- Removal of the old caliper - Remove the screw, remove the damaged or worn clamp, clean the installation site from dirt and grass residue.
- Installation of a new clamp - put the new clamp in the right place, insert the screw and tighten it sensitively - so that the handle is stiff, but there is no excessive compression of the plastic.
- Post installation inspection - fold and unfold the handle several times (if the design allows it), checking that the connection remains stable.
Regularly checking the tightness of the handle screws and the condition of the clamps allows you to significantly extend the life of the entire handle mount, and thus save yourself from more costly repairs in the future.
FAQ - Frequently asked questions about Cedrus lawn mower handle bolt clamp CEDKE40
1. Does this clamp fit other models of Cedrus mowers?
The presented clamp is an original spare part designed primarily for the Cedrus electric lawn mower CEDKE40 (KE40). Using it on other models without confirming compatibility may result in incorrect installation or improper operation of the handle. If you want to use the component in another Cedrus mower, it is recommended to check the part number in the technical documentation of the particular machine.
2. How do I know that I should replace the handle bolt clamp?
The need for replacement is usually indicated by such symptoms as visible cracks or deformation of the clamp, perceptible play of the handle despite the tightened screw, difficulty in locking the handle in the working position, as well as the characteristic "shooting" or jumping of the handle when driving the mower. In either case, replacing the clamp is a simple and effective solution to the problem.
3. Does the installation of the clamp require specialized tools?
In most cases, basic workshop tools - usually a wrench, ring or socket wrench of the appropriate size - will suffice to replace the caliper. As a result, the repair can be done yourself at home without a visit to the service center, provided you follow the safety rules and follow the recommendations of the manufacturer of the mower.
4. Does the use of the original clamp affect operational safety?
Yes. The original Cedrus handle bolt clamp is designed specifically for the CEDKE40 lawn mower, which guarantees proper load transfer and stable attachment of the handle. The use of haphazard replacements of improper dimensions or inferior material can result in backlash and, in extreme cases, damage to the handle and loss of control of the mower. Therefore, it is recommended that only genuine Cedrus Parts be used.
5. How to take care of the clamp to make it last as long as possible?
After each mowing, it is a good idea to clean the area around the handle from grass and dirt, check the tightness of the screws and the condition of the clamp itself. Avoid hitting hard obstacles with the mower, and protect the unit from tipping over when transporting it. Such simple maintenance significantly extends the trouble-free life of the clamp and the entire clamp mount.
