Cedrus CEDBT160 131905 concrete mixer pulley - the original drive part that will bring your concrete mixer back to full operation

Cedrus concrete mixer pulley CEDBT160 131905 is an original component of the drive system used in Cedrus BT160 concrete mixers (code CEDBT160). Responsible for the transmission of torque from the engine to the working drum via the V-belt, ensuring smooth and stable operation of the machine at each stage of mortar mixing.

REF. NR. 24

As a Cedrus brand factory replacement part, the 131905 pulley guarantees full compatibility with the concrete mixer's design, proper belt groove geometry, and maintenance of the manufacturer's intended rotation parameters. As a result, the device operates quietly, without jerks, and the risk of failure during intensive construction work is significantly reduced.

Cedrus CEDBT160 131905 concrete mixer pulley - what is this component and why is it so important?

The pulley is a key component of the drive system in a concrete mixer Cedrus BT160. It is mounted on the drive shaft and works with a V-belt that connects the electric motor to the working drum. The proper diameter, shape of the grooves and quality of the pulley's workmanship determine:

  • proper power transmission from a 650-watt motor to a 160-liter mixing drum,
  • maintaining the correct drum speed (ok. 29.5 rpm./min - depending on the drive configuration),
  • vibration and noise reduction during the operation of the concrete mixer,
  • reduction of belt and bearing wear thanks to precise guidance of the V-belt in the grooves.

In practice, this means that an efficient pulley keeps the machine running at full capacity, makes it easier to mix heavy cement mortars, plasters or screeds, and makes site work go faster and without unplanned downtime.

Where the Cedrus CEDBT160 131905 pulley is mounted and how it works in the concrete mixer system?

Cedrus 131905 pulley is mounted on the drive axle on the motor or drum side (according to the design of the specific Cedrus BT160 concrete mixer). It forms a pair with a second pulley and a V-belt that connects the two, transferring the drive from the engine to the mixing drum.

In a typical Cedrus CEDBT160 concrete mixer, the layout is as follows:

  1. 650 W electric motor generates torque.
  2. The torque goes to pulley 131905, on which a V-belt of appropriate dimensions is seated.
  3. The belt transmits the drive to the drum pulley or intermediate system, putting the 160-litre drum into rotary motion.

A properly installed pulley ensures stable, repeatable drum operation, which is crucial when preparing homogeneous concrete mixtures. Any wear, breakage or deformation of this component can manifest itself as squealing, belt slippage, a drop in drum speed or even a complete lack of drive.

Examples of situations where proper pulley installation matters:

  • at screeding of floors in a single-family house, where long-term, stable mixing of concrete without interruptions is necessary,
  • during masonry work in the erection of walls, when a continuous supply of fresh mortar is required,
  • during renovations and finishing works, when the concrete mixer is used to prepare lighter adhesive and plaster mortars.

  • preventive maintenance replacement - For example, when replacing the V-belt, bearings or drive sprocket.

Key user benefits:

  • High durability - sturdy material and rigid wheel construction provide resistance to shock loads, vibration and construction dust.
  • Hassle-free installation - As a dedicated part for the CEDBT160 model, the pulley fits perfectly with the factory mounts, without the need for modifications or bushings.
  • Stable operation of the concrete mixer - The correct profile of the grooves for the belt minimizes the risk of slippage, which is especially important when working with heavy concrete mixtures.
  • Saving time and money - replacing only the worn pulley instead of the entire drive train reduces service costs and equipment downtime.

Examples of applications in daily work:

  • building a garage or shed, where foundation mortar and masonry are mixed for many hours a day,
  • implementation of the shell of a single-family house - continuous mixing of concrete for the footings, columns and rims,
  • smaller renovations and adaptations, such as the preparation of subfloors for floors in the basement, workshop or utility rooms.

Cedrus BT160 CEDBT160 131905 concrete mixer pulley - original quality and specifications

By selecting original Cedrus 131905 pulley, you gain confidence that the part has been designed exactly for the BT160 concrete mixer - both in terms of dimensions and strength. This translates into trouble-free operation of the device for a long time.

Key data and product features:

  • Purpose: belt pulley for Cedrus BT160 concrete mixer (CEDBT160)

The precise fit makes it unnecessary to use compromised replacements that could alter drive ratios, cause excessive belt wear or accelerate bearing wear. For equipment used professionally, the investment in an original part pays for itself quickly - every hour a concrete mixer is out of service on a construction site is a real cost and risk of delays.

How to take care of Cedrus CEDBT160 131905 pulley to extend its life?

To pulley in Cedrus BT160 concrete mixer served for as long as possible, it is worth following a few simple operating rules:

  • Regular inspection of the V-belt - A belt that is too loose can slip, causing overheating and rubbing out the wheel grooves, while one that is too tight puts undue stress on the bearings and the disc itself.
  • Cleaning the wheel grooves - Cement dust, sand and mortar residue deposited in the grooves reduce adhesion and can act as an abrasive, accelerating belt and wheel wear.
  • Avoiding overload - do not exceed the recommended maximum amount of mix in the drum; an overloaded concrete mixer puts a heavy strain on the drive.
  • Protection against corrosion and mechanical damage - when you're done, it's a good idea to store the concrete mixer under a canopy and not leave it in a thick layer of mud or concrete.

Thanks to such simple measures, the 131905 pulley will maintain its geometry for a long time and ensure trouble-free operation of the entire drive system.

The most common symptoms of pulley wear in the Cedrus BT160 concrete mixer

Recognizing the right time to replace the pulley helps avoid major failures and downtime. The need for replacement may be indicated by m.in.:

  • noisy drive operation, squealing or knocking that occurs when loaded,
  • belt slippage despite the correct voltage,
  • visible rubbing of the grooves or their inequality,
  • disc cracks, deformation or chipping of the material on the edges of the wheel,
  • decrease in drum speed - despite a working engine.

In such situations, the installation of a new original cedrus pulley CEDBT160 131905 is the fastest and surest way to restore a concrete mixer to full working order.
