Oleo-Mac HCi560 56V cordless shears - maximum cutting performance and long operating time
Oleo-Mac HCi560 cordless shears are designed to provide the highest possible performance while maintaining user comfort. The induction motor generates up to more than 3,500 cuts per minute, allowing even dense walls of greenery to be pruned quickly and evenly. A blade stroke of 35 mm and a cutting bar length of 60 cm enable efficient cutting of thick, woody branches and the formation of wide and tall hedges.
Thanks to the use of 56-volt lithium-ion batteries, the user can count on a very long operating time on a single charge:
- 60-90 minutes with a 2.5 Ah battery,
- 100-150 minutes with a 4.0 Ah battery.
In practice, this means that in one afternoon you can trim the long hedge surrounding the plot, shape the ornamental shrubs by the terrace and make adjustments to the entrance gate - without the stress of running out of fuel or having to unroll and reel up extension cords.

Comfort and ergonomics - low weight and 180° rotating handle
One of the biggest advantages of the HCi560 shears is their extremely low weight - only 3.7 kg without a battery, about 4.8 kg with a 2.5 Ah battery. This makes the device lightweight, agile and does not put undue strain on your shoulders, back or wrists, even during prolonged use. This is a key feature especially for professionals and users who spend many hours per season with the shears.
The 180° swivel handle allows you to adjust your grip to the current working position - whether cutting vertical hedge walls or horizontal tops, or forming corners. The rotation of the handle makes it easier to maintain a comfortable, natural position of the hand and wrist, which significantly reduces fatigue and the risk of strain injuries.
In everyday use, this translates into:
- easy guidance of the long cutting bar overhead, such as for high hedges along a fence,
- conveniently trim the lower parts of the shrubs without the need for deep bending or kneeling,
- safe maneuvering of shears in tight spaces, around walls, railings or pergolas.

Precision blades and 4 speeds for a perfect hedge finish
High-quality cutting blades are the heart of the HCi560 shears. Working length of 60 cm allows you to cut large areas with a single, even tool guide, making it easier to maintain a perfectly straight hedge line. The 35mm blade pitch also allows it to cope with the thicker, well-wooded shoots often found in older plantings.
The device is equipped with a modern control display, which allows you to choose from 4 working speeds. This allows the user to:
- set a lower speed for delicate plants requiring precision and economical cutting,
- choose a higher speed for intensive molding when speed and strength matter,
- adjust the parameters according to the type of work and thickness of the branch, which extends the life of the blades and increases safety.
Such a wide range of adjustments makes the HCi560 a versatile tool - it will work well for both light seasonal touch-ups and more serious restoration work on neglected hedges. The user always has full control over the pace and nature of the cut, which directly affects the quality of the end result.

Powerful, maintenance-free induction motor - reliability and durability for years to come
Application induction motor this is one of the features that sets the Oleo-Mac HCi560 apart from many competing models. Motors of this type are characterized by high durability, low vibration, and quieter and smoother operation compared to traditional commutator units. No brushes means fewer wear parts and less need for regular servicing.
In practice, the user gets a tool:
- reliable even with intensive use during the season,
- with limited maintenance and replacement of consumable parts,
- generating less noise, which is important in densely built estates or in gardens next to single-family houses.

Safety and full control - ergonomic handles, guards and control panel
Oleo-Mac attaches great importance to work safety. The HCi560 shears feature a double handle with comfortable, non-slip surfaces that provide a secure grip in any position. The front handle surrounds the grip area, protecting the user's hand from accidental contact with branches and the cutting bar.
The cutting bar is protected by a special guard that reduces the risk of damaging the blades when working near walls, fences or metal structural elements. In addition, an easy-to-read control panel with an on-off button and LED indicators informs about the selected working speed and the battery charge level, making it easy to plan further tasks.
Examples of the daily benefits of these solutions:
- safe hedge cutting at mesh or panel fences - the risk of snagging metal is reduced,
- full control of the device when working on a ladder - stable grip reduces the possibility of the tool slipping out of your hands,
- ability to predict the end of work on a single battery charge thanks to the energy level indicator.

FAQ - frequently asked questions about Oleo-Mac HCi560 56V cordless shears
Are the battery and charger included?
Not. Oleo-Mac HCi560 56V cordless shears are sold without battery and charger. This allows you to select the battery capacity (2.5 Ah or 4.0 Ah) to suit your individual needs and to use the same batteries in other devices of the 56 V system.
Which battery to choose - 2.5 Ah or 4.0 Ah?
The 2.5 Ah battery provides a run time of 60-90 minutes and is lighter in weight, which will be appreciated by users working mainly in smaller gardens. The 4.0 Ah battery guarantees longer run time - 100-150 minutes - and will be a better solution for gardening companies and people handling large areas of hedges.
Are HCi560 shears suitable for very thick branches?
With a blade stroke of 35 mm and a powerful induction motor, the shears can handle the thicker, woody stems typical of mature hedges. However, for single, exceptionally thick branches, a pruning shear or chainsaw may be a better option.
How often do you need to sharpen your blades?
The frequency of sharpening depends on the intensity of use and the type of plants being pruned. For typical seasonal use in a home garden, sharpening once a year is usually sufficient. For professional work, it is a good idea to check the condition of the blades more often and, if necessary, return them for service or use professional sharpening services.
Do the shears require special maintenance?
After each operation, it is recommended to clean the cutting bar of plant debris and protect it with light oil, which reduces corrosion and extends the life of the blades. The induction motor is virtually maintenance-free - it does not require replacement of brushes as in classic motors.
Can I use scissors in the rain?
For safety reasons, do not use battery shears in the rain or on wet plants if there is a risk of water getting into the electrical components. The tool should be used only in dry atmospheric conditions, according to the manufacturer's instructions.
For whom the HCi560 56V model is intended?
Oleo-Mac HCi560 56V cordless shears are recommended for both demanding private users and professionals. It's an ideal choice for those looking for a strong, durable and convenient tool that can handle the care of extensive and dense hedges while maintaining a high quality cut.
