Maruyama HNJ-132 self-propelled branch and branch shredder, designed to shred dry and wet wood up to 13cm in diameter. The power unit of the Maruyama shredder is a Japanese Mitsubishi engine that can be started with a traditional tugger as well as from the key.

The working head is a rotating drum on which transverse fixed knives and floating hammer knives are mounted. This design provides excellent shredding results for both freshly cut and dried wood. The branches are fed through a wide feed hopper, which contains a roller that pulls in the branches. The wood is chipped by the working head and then ejected through the exhaust stack. Ejection of shredded wood is assisted by an installed blower, which increases the efficiency of the outlet and prevents clogging of the outlet throat.

The shredder's own drive provides freedom of action in the work area, and the tracks aid traction even in challenging terrain.
