Warranty terms and conditions
1. The warranty period for new products purchased for consumer, non-professional and non-commercial use is 24 months from the date of sale.
2. Equipment purchased and used for the purpose of professional or business (gainful) activity, otherwise a commercial purchase, is warranted for a period of 6 months.
Consumer purchase within the meaning of the Act of 27 July 2002. (OJ.U.02.141.1176) is a purchase made by an individual who acquires the item for a purpose unrelated to professional or business activity. A purchase made by a business entity or a sole proprietor is considered a commercial purchase.
3. Briggs & Stratton engines are guaranteed by their manufacturer. For equipment purchased for business or professional activities, it provides a 3-month warranty, in other cases the warranty is provided for a period of 2 years.
4. The warranty provides the user with free removal of defects occurring during the operation of the equipment during the warranty period, resulting from design errors, hidden material defects, errors in workmanship or factory assembly.
5. Only authorized service centers have the right to evaluate the reported damage. The evaluation is carried out according to the rules set by the manufacturer, the same for all users worldwide.
6. In the event of damage, the user is obliged to deliver the complete equipment, together with the proof of purchase, to an authorized service center or central service center, which can be found on the hechtpolska website in the Claims Service Section
7. Under penalty of loss of warranty, it is unacceptable to provide disassembled components or parts of the equipment for repair.
8. The user forfeits the right to warranty in case of: use of the equipment contrary to its intended use, damage caused by improper handling, mechanical damage to the equipment and the resulting consequences, use of non-original spare parts and improper consumables, making repairs on your own, replacing components, making structural changes or finding by an authorized service center interference inside the equipment by unauthorized persons, improper storage.
9. The warranty does not cover components damaged due to improper operation or caused by mechanical damage, such as: blades, hubs, running wheels, cutting chains, guides, V-belts, starter cables, pulleys, clutch drums, cutting heads, spark plugs and other working components.
10. The following are not subject to warranty repair due to reasons attributable to the user: bends or cracks in the crankshaft resulting from the impact and related consequences, rupture of the magnet wheel wedge, seizure of the engine, mechanical damage, damage resulting from the use of faulty connection wires, especially with the wrong cross-section causing melting of the contacts of the electric switch.
11. The warranty does not include activities such as installation, maintenance, periodic service, adjustment and cleaning, and inspections.
12. Warranty proceedings begin with the delivery of the device to the authorized service center repairing the equipment, not to the reception point. The repair contractor shall provide information regarding warranty claims within 14 working days of receiving the equipment. The repair will be carried out as soon as possible (it depends on the supply of spare parts, from outside Poland).
13. Warranty rights do not include the buyer's right to claim reimbursement for lost profits and costs incurred due to the time taken to repair the equipment.
14. The service center may refuse to accept dirty equipment for repair or clean it at the claimant's expense.
15. The choice of how to remove the defect is up to the guarantor, who may repair the item by repairing or replacing the defective part or replacing the goods. Regardless of how the defect is corrected, the warranty shall continue, extended by the time the defect is corrected by the guarantor.
16. The warranty does not exclude, limit or suspend the buyer's rights under the warranty provisions for defects of the sold thing.
PRODUCT COMPLAINT
1. The basis and scope of the Seller's liability to the Customer if the sold Product has a physical or legal defect (warranty) are defined by generally applicable laws, in particular the Civil Code.
In the event of a defect in the goods purchased from the Seller, the Customer has the right to make a complaint based on the warranty provisions of the Civil Code.
2. Claims should be reported by filling out the claim form, which can be found on the site hechtpolska in the Complaints Service section and return the product to the central service address. You can also file a claim at one of our service or retail stores.

3. It is recommended that the customer specify in the description of the complaint:
(1) information and circumstances regarding the subject of the complaint, in particular the type and date of the defect;
(2) request a method of bringing the Product into conformity with the Sales Agreement or a statement of price reduction or withdrawal from the Sales Agreement;
(3) contact details of the complainant - this will facilitate and speed up the processing of the complaint by the Seller. The requirements in the preceding sentence are in the form of a recommendation only, and do not affect the effectiveness of complaints made with the omission of the recommended description of the complaint.
4. The seller will respond to the customer's complaint immediately, no later than within 14 calendar days from the date of physical acceptance of the device on the site. Failure of the Seller to respond within the above period means that the Seller considered the complaint justified.
5. If it is necessary to deliver the Product to the Seller in order for the Seller to respond to the Customer's complaint or to exercise the Customer's rights under the warranty, the Customer will be asked by the Seller to deliver the Product to the address indicated.
6. The request for delivery of the Product referred to in paragraph. 5 of the Terms and Conditions does not affect the running of the deadline for the Seller to respond to the Customer's complaint referred to in point. 5 of the Terms and Conditions, and does not affect the Customer's right to demand from the Seller to dismantle the defective Product and reinstall the Product after a defect-free replacement or removal of the defect, as referred to in Art. 561[1] of the Civil Code.
